I'm onto Black Myth Wukong after finishing Astro Bot in the week

Peformance on PS5 seems a little shaky early on which is a bit concerning for how it'll hold later, but I'm mostly enjoying it. I am however absolutely awful at it and still struggling with one of the early bosses. I'm sure it'll click soon though and there already seems to be a satisfying variety with the combat

Like the HZD remaster, this of course seems ridiculous and unnecessary.

But you can see the business behind it. These games are obviously costing a lot to develop initially and the cost and resources to remake/remaster/whatever to these games must be pretty small in comparison and the return of investment is clearly there. It gives the games a second chance at market, people will double dip if they enjoyed it etc.

Not this nonsense again. Publishers are entitled to sell games for whatever price they choose, but they don't need to raise prices.

These companies aren't charities. They don't have to (and often won't) fund a game that they don't feel makes money. If its such an issue, game development budgets just need to be managed better and smaller

I'm 99.9% digital these days so personally am not bothered by lack of a disc drive. Only time I've ever used a disc in my PS5 is for Sekiro because I'm reluctant to pay £30 for it digitally

@rjejr contrary to a lot of other tank control games of its time, Croc actually works really well and still holds up in my opinion

I really don't understand decisions like this or frankly the management of the Crash Bandicoot IP at all tbh.

They could've made a perfectly good, shorter Crash 4 on a much smaller budget and it would've sold just as well. Then by now they could've had a 5th game ready and probably done something new with Spyro as well

It's almost as if the top decision makers at these companies have no idea about the end product..
