Re: Poll: Are You Using the PS5's New Welcome Hub?

AfroMario

Is it even an option to use it or not? It's the default landing menu and you can't turn it off. You can customize it. All I have on there is controller charge and screenshots. I will say it is cool having a random screenshot come up every time I turn it on. good random memories.

Re: Dragon Age Series Ditches Those Disgusting Spiders in The Veilguard

AfroMario

@Loamy I agree with the sentiment. For the first half of my life it was the natural response if you saw a spider to just smash it. But if you stop and think about it it's there for a reason and it's eating something and has its own little mission. It's like the shark thing with Jaws sort of. I give the spiders in my home rules and if they break those rules, like entering my bed space or making a web that is in a common walking path, they know the consequences. Otherwise we all live in peace.

Re: Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero's Great Ape Vegeta Fight Is Driving Players Insane

I had 2 hours to play this game last night and the last hour was just trying to get through this fight. But I hope they don't change it because people are complaining. To me it says this game is going to be fun and is going to give me a challenge for a long time which I welcome. Especially coming off of Kakarot which you get to a point in that game where you just obliterate anyone and everything with a glance. So I'm thrilled to have a GREAT dragon ball game actually giving me a hard time!

@RoomWithaMoose I completely agree, it was the funnest part of the game for me. Kind of sad if that's the case, but I'm sure it'll still be a great game. I can't remember which trailer I watched but it really seems like as the enemies kept coming they were transforming multiple stages. Maybe they were splicing it together from different fights. I can't tell you how many times I started with GT Goku vs the whole GT villain lineup and as each one was defeated I would transform to the next level of SSJ, culminating with fusing with Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta to defeat Omega Shenron of course. It was so exhilarating!

@RoomWithaMoose I know the characters selection screen has them all separated, but if you watch the gameplay videos, it does look like from wherever you start in the match you can transform as the match goes on. This was a huge part of the fun for me as well with the old games, and unless I'm missing something, it seems to be the case here as well even though you can pick a character at any stage of transformation to start.

Re: Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster (PS5) - Capcom Classic Still Shines 18 Years Later

@zebric21 I've never played Dead Rising but I can tell you that Dead Island 2 is awesome. If you want a great zombie game with the added mobility of parkour, both Dying Light games are incredible. The full version of the first Dying Light (with The Following add-on) it's an absolutely incredible game that I've spent hundreds of hours in, and you could probably get it for 20 or 30 bucks now. Just as good as the sequel if not better in some ways.
