I would say that this is a good news for physical media Gamers who want to play black myth wukong. It's a Spooky one, but a good one. Especially if you're a fan of monkeys and magic. Definitely give this one a try if you are game.
Talk about spookfest 2024! I'll never forget grabbing that piece of wood with nails sticking out of it beating that monster to death. Good times. Can't wait to give this game a good try!
There is an excellent game here that is being hindered by a bit of wonkiness and a lame story mode. It's going to take a few patches to get there, but this game is going to be a 10.
Is it even an option to use it or not? It's the default landing menu and you can't turn it off. You can customize it. All I have on there is controller charge and screenshots. I will say it is cool having a random screenshot come up every time I turn it on. good random memories.
From the perspective of a successful businessman like myself, this sounds like a fine practice. Time waits for no one and the priority is to keep the cash flowing in, so from time to time you have to dump the chumps. A new round of temps will be waiting at the doorstep the next morning, and for less cost usually.
I paid over $100 to get Sparking Zero three days early and it was one of the best choices I've ever made. Such a better game than say, Concord or Star War Outlaw or heck, even The Last of Us 2
@ShogunRok is it negativity to celebrate one game that a lot of people like while dunking on a game that absolutely nobody liked? I read their comment as a positive statement. Maybe your sentiments just line up with Concord's a little more...
This is a game you just have to pair with a fresh cookie of some kind. Call Grandma and see what she's up to, see if we can't get this thing going Saturday night proper!
Can't wait to sit down tonight with a bucket of chocolate chip cookies and a tall glass of lemonade and crank this game on for the first time. Going to be one for the ages boys
Fantastic game! It's making me feel very old with the speed and technique required to win, but I guess it's just going to take some time and practice. 10 out of 10 for this DB fan
@Loamy I agree with the sentiment. For the first half of my life it was the natural response if you saw a spider to just smash it. But if you stop and think about it it's there for a reason and it's eating something and has its own little mission. It's like the shark thing with Jaws sort of. I give the spiders in my home rules and if they break those rules, like entering my bed space or making a web that is in a common walking path, they know the consequences. Otherwise we all live in peace.
This game was a dream come true for me as well. I would give it a 10 out of 10 and I still haven't even beaten Great Ape Vegeta. Going to be playing this game for a very long time.
It's great to have all the games bundled together especially in physical form. I'll be buying this as soon as I can scrounge up the cash and find the game shop that carries this. I might buy two or three copies so then I can have even more final fantasy games on hand, even if they're just duplications of the same ones on the other cartridges.
I had 2 hours to play this game last night and the last hour was just trying to get through this fight. But I hope they don't change it because people are complaining. To me it says this game is going to be fun and is going to give me a challenge for a long time which I welcome. Especially coming off of Kakarot which you get to a point in that game where you just obliterate anyone and everything with a glance. So I'm thrilled to have a GREAT dragon ball game actually giving me a hard time!
Had a good feeling this was going to be at least at 95 out of 100. The only ultimate edition of the game I've ever bought and pre-ordered. Been a long wait but it's going to be worth it
I never preorder games or buy the ultimate edition. I preordered the ultimate edition of this game! Been playing Budokai Tenkaichi 3 on emulator for years waiting for this
I have fond memories from simply playing the demo of Soul Beaver 2 on a demo disc over and over when I was a kid. Would have liked to see a full-blown remake, but at least it's getting some love!
I've been really enjoying the guitar and piano covers that have been available on spotify. Also, the artist named Pealeaf does a wonderful version of My Star. Definitely going to check out the official release but these have been great in the meantime.
@RoomWithaMoose I completely agree, it was the funnest part of the game for me. Kind of sad if that's the case, but I'm sure it'll still be a great game. I can't remember which trailer I watched but it really seems like as the enemies kept coming they were transforming multiple stages. Maybe they were splicing it together from different fights. I can't tell you how many times I started with GT Goku vs the whole GT villain lineup and as each one was defeated I would transform to the next level of SSJ, culminating with fusing with Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta to defeat Omega Shenron of course. It was so exhilarating!
I get much more excited for games that are way dated and remade than games from not too long ago that are remastered. Like Resident Evil 2&4 and Final Fantasy VII remakes were off the hook. Horizon ZD slightly better looking... meh.
@RoomWithaMoose I know the characters selection screen has them all separated, but if you watch the gameplay videos, it does look like from wherever you start in the match you can transform as the match goes on. This was a huge part of the fun for me as well with the old games, and unless I'm missing something, it seems to be the case here as well even though you can pick a character at any stage of transformation to start.
Glad I paid $610 for a PS5 and FFRebirth just to see that it runs better on the upgrade 10 months later. I like the game a lot but I feel like the characters have a weird doll look compared to Remake. Just annoying. If next Generation happens I'm just going to wait for the upgraded console to come out to jump in.
@zebric21 I've never played Dead Rising but I can tell you that Dead Island 2 is awesome. If you want a great zombie game with the added mobility of parkour, both Dying Light games are incredible. The full version of the first Dying Light (with The Following add-on) it's an absolutely incredible game that I've spent hundreds of hours in, and you could probably get it for 20 or 30 bucks now. Just as good as the sequel if not better in some ways.
It would be really fun if they had a mode where you were the one renting out the girlfriends. You could set the prices and ensure their protection and as you level up you can get upgraded accesories like big fur coats and pink leopard skin hats.
