I've been really enjoying the guitar and piano covers that have been available on spotify. Also, the artist named Pealeaf does a wonderful version of My Star. Definitely going to check out the official release but these have been great in the meantime.

@RoomWithaMoose I completely agree, it was the funnest part of the game for me. Kind of sad if that's the case, but I'm sure it'll still be a great game. I can't remember which trailer I watched but it really seems like as the enemies kept coming they were transforming multiple stages. Maybe they were splicing it together from different fights. I can't tell you how many times I started with GT Goku vs the whole GT villain lineup and as each one was defeated I would transform to the next level of SSJ, culminating with fusing with Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta to defeat Omega Shenron of course. It was so exhilarating!

I get much more excited for games that are way dated and remade than games from not too long ago that are remastered. Like Resident Evil 2&4 and Final Fantasy VII remakes were off the hook. Horizon ZD slightly better looking... meh.

@RoomWithaMoose I know the characters selection screen has them all separated, but if you watch the gameplay videos, it does look like from wherever you start in the match you can transform as the match goes on. This was a huge part of the fun for me as well with the old games, and unless I'm missing something, it seems to be the case here as well even though you can pick a character at any stage of transformation to start.

They look nice but I'm not going to worry about it or get fomo about it. My PS5 I bought in 2022 works fine!

Glad I paid $610 for a PS5 and FFRebirth just to see that it runs better on the upgrade 10 months later. I like the game a lot but I feel like the characters have a weird doll look compared to Remake. Just annoying. If next Generation happens I'm just going to wait for the upgraded console to come out to jump in.

Kind of sounds like when the newest phone is released and suddenly your old phone starts acting like a piece of garbage.

Both of these games greatly exceeded my personal expectations. And I thought they were going to be amazing!

@zebric21 I've never played Dead Rising but I can tell you that Dead Island 2 is awesome. If you want a great zombie game with the added mobility of parkour, both Dying Light games are incredible. The full version of the first Dying Light (with The Following add-on) it's an absolutely incredible game that I've spent hundreds of hours in, and you could probably get it for 20 or 30 bucks now. Just as good as the sequel if not better in some ways.

It would be really fun if they had a mode where you were the one renting out the girlfriends. You could set the prices and ensure their protection and as you level up you can get upgraded accesories like big fur coats and pink leopard skin hats.

@Marquez what society do you live in where white people are the norms and other people aren't? Sounds like a bad place, mate.

This is, in my opinion, a very good game.

Stardew Valley was such a wonderful game. I trust this man's judgment and look forward to playing Haunted Chocolatier when and if ever it comes out. If it doesn't, that's alright.

The price structure now seems okay for me. Paying $60 for a full game and then if you really really like it and want to support the developer more you can spend the extra $30 to $60 on all the additional content if you want to. But that initial $60 has to have the value of a FULL COMPLETE game.

@LikelySatan if you take that approach to it you can just jump in any comment section on any article on this website to talk about how stupid all of this is. It's all stupid nonsense that we just do for fun. What makes it fun for a lot of people is suspending disbelief and taking it seriously just based on what it is. Breaking it down like that and talking to someone like their 5 years old isn't really a great way to make an argument about anything.

@Waa-Laa totally agree with you. I played most of it on Action Mode in one month but then did everything possible in Final Fantasy Mode within the next year. I even started a new game plus again yesterday with everything unlocked and upgraded and 2 million Gil. Still looking forward to playing through it again 🙂

I don't have time for middling rubbish. If I sit down to play a video game it has to be something incredible like Final Fantasy 16 or Tears of The Kingdom. Time is too precious to waste on 'meh', or star wars at all for that matter.

DYING LIGHT 3 WOOOHOOO

Nah. Life is too short and there are too many important things to do to get interested on mediocre burnt out franchises. Especially after that Hollywood abomination, who thought this was a good time to get the hype train started for Borderlands 4?

I spent 200 hours playing this game twice and I'm probably going to play it again soon. Never noticed any performance issues 🤷‍♂️

This game is everything I hoped it would be and more! The Cat Quest Trilogy is one of the best gaming trilogies out there.

I don't know what concord is (grapes?) but that controller looks cool! So does the Asstro Bot one. This comment section is the first I'm hearing about the Final Fantasy 16 controller which I'm saddened to see will cost $150 on Amazon! What a great controller the PS5 has!

@riceNpea yeah the massive games might be set on a bargain price, but they don't tell you that if you want more than one you're going to have to go to the hardware store and purchase a wheelbarrow just to carry these games around because they are so massive and enormous and popular among all gamers. So really you need to take the sale price and combine it with the price of a good sturdy wheelbarrow to get a more realistic look what you're going to be spending during this particular sale.

Man, I thought this game was an absolute blast 5 years ago!

Sea of Stars is a wonderful game. I'll gladly pick up DLC for this game. I've been tempted to go back and collect all of the things that unlock the true ending, but I feel like after almost 40 hours the game was long enough and I just watched the true ending on youtube. Had a wonderful time with it though.

You couldn't pay me to sit down and play an MMO RPG, but I love Final Fantasy so I'm very glad to see this game being received so well. What a story this game has itself.
