I think Requiem is still one of the best looking games this gen. Cracking game.

Push Square are now going to put Spider-Man 2 as #1 just to spite.

I'm 88 hours deep into Baldur's Gate 3. Currently in the shadowlands trying to put an end to this wretched curse. Amazing game.

The game had some occasional great moments but overall it was the most disappointing game of the year for me.

Baldur's Gate 3

I've just taken Nere's head for Sovereign Spaw. Was a messy beheading from Karlach after a failed dice roll.

Year of the dragon. This and Dragon's Dogma 2. Can't wait!

Dogtown for me. It was tiny but it was chock full of interesting places.

Hogwarts Legacy was great. Even after 100+ hours, I was still getting lost in Hogwarts castle.

It bugs me that the party members who aren't in your current party have their 'hide headgear' reset when back in the camp.

Just bought this for six quid. Kasumi would be proud because that is a steal!

Playing as Awyn, my half elf monk in Baldur's Gate 3. Loving it.

I played Fallout 4 on my Xbox with FPS boost and it does indeed feel great to play at 60fps. I don't understand the hate this game gets, I thought it was great fun. Would've loved the V.A.T.S system in Starfield.

I'm playing something far better, a certain game from Larian Studios.

656 hours in Night City. Preem merc work.

Can't wait to hook up with Nanba, Adachi and Saeko again. Boss gang of misfits.

I remember people saying GTAV wouldn't look as good as the trailers on PS3. It did.

Graphically, this looks amazing!

I haven't played a lot of the big hitter new games this year yet, so my top 3 would be -

• Phantom Liberty - I know it was an expansion but it was one hell of a spy thriller game with some amazing missions.
• Hogwarts Legacy - I'm not into Harry Potter but the game was a delight to play. Honestly surprised me with how solid it was.
• Starfield - The game got a lot of flak but I enjoyed my time with it. Some of the faction missions were great. The party characters were a bit bland though.

• Crafted Iconic weapons will now be properly displayed when put in the stash.

I'm currently deep into my 9th playthrough overall of Cyberpunk 2077. The upcoming patch with new gameplay mechanics already has me thinking of a 10th run! I love the game so much that every other game can wait.

Biggest disappointment for me this year, and I played Starfield.

Can't wait to ride the NCART whilst listening to Pacific Dreams.

The feeling of becoming a better merc gig by gig and of slowly adding more chrome as the eddies roll in would all be lost in new game+, I feel.
