@mariomaster96 It's a shame you can't just pay the $20 difference for the PS1, PS2 and PSP games and ignore the $100 for the rest.

"Splashy lineup" has got me hoping for games of a watery theme. Nothing like a weirdly curated game list. Not sure what games of Sony's would fit that bill though.

That's the same as one new Sony price game per year! I know what I'd prefer to spend my ill-gotten gains on.

I assume they are leaving the pricing until the last minute so the vocal few won't stop the casual majority buying it again by limiting the amount of time they can shout about the injustice.

It needs a bit of colour. The font is good though. Seems most companies are going for simpler plain logos. I like a logo that makes my eyes bleed. I am probably in the minority on this though so bland away with your logos.

I assume that with the PS5 version you also get the PS4 version? If not the PS5 purchasers are really being fleeced.

@Col_McCafferty I am going to wear mine in public as a fashion statement. That statement being that I am a pillock! The white doesn't match any of my other consoles apart from my PS1, Dreamcast and SNES and they aren't in heavy rotation. I like uniformity. Waiting for the black plates to be in stock online for my PS5 at the minute.

I'll wait for reviews and hopefully a black version.

I haven't got it yet but I'll get the PS4 version so it matches the blue banner of the first game on my shelf. OCD finally has an advantage!

You don't need a review. Just play the original that they gave away last year and if you don't like it then don't bother with this one.

I wish we could get figures we could compare to one another. 20 million for Horizon Forbidden Dawn. 3rd place in US for dollar sales. Most purchased game by people called Dave. Where does the incomparable data end?

@__jamiie It was meant to be a stupid comment. Most of the things I say are stupid comments. It annoyed the hell out of my English teacher at school.
This is just a mildly frustrating issue. Censorship varies by country and it also varies by console. At least it is easier to change which console you have.

Time for people to sell their PS5 and get a Series X. Everyone thought they wouldn't need to as Call of Duty is staying on PlayStation but this is the game everyone wants to play this year and they do this.
Or maybe just 7 people care about this enough to blow a gasket.

I think I have finally become numb to shiny graphics. Cinematic trailers do very little for me these days. I much prefer a good gameplay trailer. Need to plug my PS5 back in and play the original first anyway. Been unplugged for past 2-3 months when we moved stuff around and nothing has really pushed me to find a new space to plug the beast in.

Really should play the original. Got all the graphic novels which I love, although not read the game adaptation one, but never got round to playing it. Guess I have about 12 months to rectify that. Also the comic is coming back so good news for Fables fans at the minute.

They may not take it away from PlayStation but they could charge more than standard for it to force people's hand to move to Game Pass although people who buy it annually would probably pay £/$100 for it I reckon with just a minor grumble.

Maybe instead of bullets you shoot love hearts at people. I'm intrigued by a game that promotes inclusion and caring. Will it be easily ruined by buffoons?

@RadioHedgeFund GTAV will be number one in mid March. That will mainly be from people who have been paying it for 3 generations now and not many will be newcomers.

The PS4 version would look better next to the original on a shelf for the physical copy though.

2 versions of the game for less than 1 version. Seems a simple decision to me and if you still have a PS4 and PS5 someone else can be playing on the PS4 while you play on the PS5. I assume unless there is something new stopping you doing that?
EDIT: This would only be for digital of course.

Sony are looking at this and contemplating a hybrid PS Vita 2/PlayStation TV 2. I hope.

Just when I thought I'd forgotten about this game.

Fingers crossed the PS6 doesn't even get a sniff of COD. Maybe Sony can then make the next big thing. COD can't be massive forever I assume. The kids won't want to be playing the same game their parents played as kids as it isn't the done thing.

The PS+ games are a lottery and everyone can't be a winner every month. If the same people are complaining every month maybe it's time to cancel and use your subscription fee to pay for the games you want and see how far that fee gets you.

If you don't like it then jump ship to the other camp. Neither side is perfect so you just have to deal with the choices they make due to the choice you make. I rarely play the PS Plus or Games with Gold games anyway but it is always nice to have something to play on a rainy day.

@TuckNorris85 That is my nearest Cineworld too.

My local cinema 30 mins walk from me is a fiver a ticket and the nearest cineworld is about 30 miles away and over a tenner a ticket. No good for me as I will spend more getting to the cinema on fuel and that is before your factor in other people going with you. Good if Cineworld is your local.
Wonder what the take up on these free tickets will be? Not a figure that will be shared with the public I assume even if it is 99%.

They don't need to do anything. They have good first party games and the average person is likely still trying to get a PS5 as they don't follow gaming news so are oblivious to Microsoft's recent actions.

I think he was saying don't make any more exclusivity deals or we'll have to buy whoever you make them with too.

Doesn't include the time I spent on PS3. Death Stranding Director's Cut was my number one though followed by Knack!

The 2 games are probably my favourite games on the PS4 as I didn't play on the Vita. There's not really much else like them to fill the void. I'd sell a kidney to get a PS6 on release with Gravity Rush 3 as a release game.

The original PlayStation sold over 100 million without Call of Duty. The PlayStation 6 can do the same. Positive mental attitude is what you need. Too many negative Nellies.

Sony will come out from this fighting. They are not just going to lie down and take a beating.

Everyone struggling to get a PS5 should be able to get a used one soon if they do stop COD on PlayStation. I don't think they will stop them for the next few years as it is easy money but I think PlayStation will get castrated versions.

Phil Spencer setting PlayStation owners up for disappointment by saying this. A little underhanded advert for Game Pass if ever I saw it. I find it very hard to believe that Sony will offer their big titles on this rumoured service day 1.

Sony would rather give some of the old games a bit of spit and polish and sell them for full price than emulate them.

What percentage of that large amount of money was from game sales rather than microtransactions? I'm guessing single digits.

I love the rumour dartboard. State of Play, Nintendo Direct, Switch Pro, PS5 Slim, Metal Gear Solid Remake, etc etc. Which one will the dart hit next week?

What is to stop someone buying one and editing it slightly and selling multiple iterations of it?

I will only partake in this if there is extra content and it isn't at a premium price. Not worth full price just for a few more wrinkles on Joel's forehead for me.
