I've had my eye on this one since it was announced. Been waiting to see more and it still looks great.

I've never cared that much about live service games so I can't meaningfully on this. All I'll say is that Sony's bread and butter will probably always be in high quality single player games, and those continues be the most evergreen part of the games industry. As long as they keep that strength, i can't really blame them if they want to experiment in other areas.

Still playing Forspoken. I finished the main. Story and now I'm just working on the platinum.

As the world's number 1 Forspoken fan, its a bummer to see the game underperform so hard. But I can't say I'm surprised either. I just hope Luminous adds a new game + before Square Enix sweep this under the rug.

Genuinely an 8/10 for me. A superhero power trip set in a fantasy world is what I wanted, and it's ultimately what I got.

The banter, controls etc are all criticisms I agree with, but when this game is firing on all cylinders it hits the exact part of my brain that makes all the good chemicals.

I'll be playing Forspoken. I'm around fifteen hours in, and I honestly kind of love it. (Unironically)

I may be the only person on earth this game was meant to appeal to, but as that one person, I'm glad to have it.

Monster Hunter is an existential nightmare disguised as a video game.

Forspoken would be pretty high on the list, but it's out next week so I left it off.

I already own the bulk of the big hitters here which is unfortunate, but I'm looking forward to finally play Jett: The Far Shore.
Solid month overall to be sure.

I just felt like play Symphony of the night this week. I booted up my Vita to play it and got reminded just how much the Vita slaps.

The axe is my favorite in game, but the Draupnir Spear is the one I'd most like to have in real life.

Can't say I disagree with the list. Congrats to God of War Ragnarok for taking top honors, and Congrats to Elden Ring for making video games the least fun thing to talk about in 2022.

Finished the story. Was having a pretty good time in journey 2 and then got burned out. I couldn't get over how empty I felt when I finished it, even after getting the best ending.

Elden Ring is a great game, but it's not what I needed in 2022.

It's weird to think that one of the most well made, critically acclaimed and commercially successful games of the year can also be one of the most underrated. It's really hard to overstate how hard Guerrilla knocked it out of the park with this one, and it deserved so much better than getting overshadowed by Dark Souls with a horse.

Thank you right back Santa Monica. Ragnarok is going to go down as one of my all time favorite games.

I beat Gna and got the platinum the other night. I'm honestly kind of sad to have the game completed. New Game + can't get here fast enough.

I just finished the story in God of War Ragnarok and now I'm cleaning up the rest of the trophies.

This game is something else. The first ending was beautiful, and the secret ending was absolutely devastating.

Calling it now, Spider-man 2 will aim for a launch on or around September 7th to celebrate the five year anniversary of the first game.

Not yet, but I absolutely will, I love the original. I just want to make sure I have the time to play it distraction free.

I've been playing the demo. So far it pretty much what I wanted it to be. The traversal is fun, the combat is satisfying and it looks great. The dialog sucks but I have a pretty high tolerance for that.

My main sticking point is with the controls. Holding down circle to parkour isn't great and square for the tether doesn't feel good either. Hopefully they can put in some different control schemes because otherwise I'm sold.

This wouldn't have happened if God of War won.

Divine Knockout looks like Fall Guys with combat. Which is an interesting Mashup.

Overall, a solid way to end the year.

My favorite part of this game is when the goat says 'it's goatin time' and then he goats all over those guys.

I'm glad to see this worked out well, I've been optimistic since the announcement. I probably would have picked this up at launch if not for my big bald daddy game.

It's not a deal breaker. It just depends on how much I want to play any given game. If God of War Ragnarok was locked at 30 I'd still have it pre-ordered and ready to play it day one. Gotham Knights on the other hand... I was never really that excited to begin with.

Less than three weeks to go. GET HYPE!

After five disappointing main-line titles in a row, this looks like the Final Fantasy return to form I've been waiting for.

I'm also really looking forward to playing Syndicate again. It's my favorite pre Odyssey AC game.
