I beat Gna and got the platinum the other night. I'm honestly kind of sad to have the game completed. New Game + can't get here fast enough.

I just finished the story in God of War Ragnarok and now I'm cleaning up the rest of the trophies.

This game is something else. The first ending was beautiful, and the secret ending was absolutely devastating.

Calling it now, Spider-man 2 will aim for a launch on or around September 7th to celebrate the five year anniversary of the first game.

Not yet, but I absolutely will, I love the original. I just want to make sure I have the time to play it distraction free.

I've been playing the demo. So far it pretty much what I wanted it to be. The traversal is fun, the combat is satisfying and it looks great. The dialog sucks but I have a pretty high tolerance for that.

My main sticking point is with the controls. Holding down circle to parkour isn't great and square for the tether doesn't feel good either. Hopefully they can put in some different control schemes because otherwise I'm sold.

This wouldn't have happened if God of War won.

Divine Knockout looks like Fall Guys with combat. Which is an interesting Mashup.

Overall, a solid way to end the year.

My favorite part of this game is when the goat says 'it's goatin time' and then he goats all over those guys.

I'm glad to see this worked out well, I've been optimistic since the announcement. I probably would have picked this up at launch if not for my big bald daddy game.

It's not a deal breaker. It just depends on how much I want to play any given game. If God of War Ragnarok was locked at 30 I'd still have it pre-ordered and ready to play it day one. Gotham Knights on the other hand... I was never really that excited to begin with.

Less than three weeks to go. GET HYPE!

After five disappointing main-line titles in a row, this looks like the Final Fantasy return to form I've been waiting for.

I'm also really looking forward to playing Syndicate again. It's my favorite pre Odyssey AC game.

God if War basically wins by default, but Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade and Synduality are all really strong runner-ups in my book.

I picked picked up Steelrising this week and so far I'm really enjoying it. This game has done a better job at scratching my Bloodborne itch than any game in the last five years. And whoever at Spiders suggested the assist mode deserves a medal.

In that case, I expect it to be way too long, not that deep, and wildly overhyped.

I feel like I shouldn't have to say this again, but Microsoft lies about everything. They said they wouldn't make Bethesda games exclusive before that deal closed and now look what they're doing. They said they don't put effort into making other platforms smaller and every show they've done this year they try to pretend other platforms don't even exist.
Microsoft will say anything to get what they want. And when this deal closes, don't be surprised when their rhetoric changes completely.

I'm sure this says something about society. And I'm not the one to figure out what it is.

I have to be honest, even though I think the hate for this game is way overblown, and has been since it was announced, I was probably never going to play it. I'm not really a Saint's Row fan. 4 is the only one I liked, and that's mainly because it's the closest this to Prototype 3 that we're ever going to get.

Yeah, this look like Kirkland brand Bloodborne alright, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It'll be interesting to see how it actually feels to play though. I know that they're going for a mechanical motif, but all of the animations look janky as a result.

I still think it looks awesome. It takes some pretty bad dialog and characters to really kill a game for me. And this ain't Sunset Overdrive so I think I'm good.

People are just coming up with game ideas by throwing a dart a wall full of IPs at this point.

Question 3 gave me PTSD.

It was a nice touch to have Mimir interrupt the story straight from the book. That put a smile on my face.

I picked up Blue Fire from the summer sale. I tried playing it on the Switch a few months ago and hated it. I don't know what changed, maybe it the smoother framerate or the fact that I'm playing with an actual controller, but I'm hooked. This game is excellent.

Finally, a SpongeBob project that doesn't look like its pissing on Stephen Hillenburg's grave.

Seeing a trillion dollar company hijack the biggest publisher in the game industry to lock games off other is scummier than any block fees Sony has to use to compete. Trying to act like Sony's the bad guy in this situation is such a blatant obfuscation of the facts. And the fact that so many people are defending Microsoft on a Playstation centric website really shows what a pitiful state it's come to recently.

I just want to reiterate how cool it that this game is being dubbed, and how much I appreciate seeing the Sentai cast getting credited in this trailer.

It's actually looking pretty good. Spike Chunsoft might surprise me for once.

I switched ISPs recently, and for the first time ever my internet connection is stable enough for PS Now. I've been replaying God of War Ascension, and I'm starting to remember that it's super underrated.
