I'm glad to hear Hoyo is taking their competition seriously, but I have a feeling that Genshin's throne isn't going to be challenged any time soon. I'll definitely check out Wuthering Waves, but I already know I'll just go back to Genshin because that's where I've invested the most time. And I'm sure a lot of veterans are going to feel the same way.

Looks good. Or it looks like an Assassin's Creed game I guess. I still just find it funny that this is the AC game people have been asking for the longest, and in the time it took for Ubisoft to make it, Sony already ran two full laps around them with Ghost of Tsushima and Rise of the Ronin.

Not to get too weird about it, but you can notice that some outfits also change Eve's body shape slightly. Almost as if each outfit was designed with certain aesthetics in mind. Who would have thought?

I just finished Stellar Blade and heading into new game plus. Shift Up really went above and beyond making it feel rewarding. This is the most excited I've been to replay a game in a long time.

I think it works. The execution was a little too busy, but the end result hits just as hard. Maybe even more so because I've never had to let that moment sit with me like I do now.

I'm feeling a strong 8 right now, but I gave it a 9 on the poll. We'll see how the rest of the year plays out, but right now it's the lead for my GOTY runner up.
(Because nothing is going to top FF7 Rebirth)

Congratulations to Shift Up for taking a big swing and having it pay off. Hopefully this leads to more amazing work from them, and gives Korean developers the confidence to do the same.

I don't get the hype for this one. It gets less interesting every time I see it. Frankly, I think V Rising looks way better.

Maybe not right away, but yes. Absolutely. I want to clear out my backlog a bit first so I have time to appreciate the DLC and go into new game plus.

@Zenos Probably. This game was also right before a very busy March so people had plenty of choices. Once summer hits, people have more free time and the price comes down, I wouldn't be surprised if this gets a second wind.

Does Final Fantasy VII Rebirth deserve to be number 1? Yes.

Should it be selling more copies? Yes.

Do I get why some fans might be disappointed in it? Yes.

Do I think that backlash is a little overblown? Yes.

Who performed the song Owner of a Lonely Heart? Yes.

I've been looking forward to Tales of Kenzera since it was announced. So it's a great get for me.

Not sure if there's a connection between devs saying the Gamepass money has dried up and Sony suddenly going harder on day one PS Plus releases but I'm all for it.

Framerate isn't a deal breaker for me, but I can't help but wonder if we'd even be having this discussion right now if a certain giant publisher didn't kneecap this generation before it even started with a certain stupid white box.

I'd give it an 8. Maybe I'm just burnt out on the FromSoft formula, but Team Ninja's approach to difficulty just hits for me. This is giving me a lot of what I hoped to get from Sekiro, and I'm definitely keen to see where Team Ninja goes from here.

I've played it twice already. Normally I don't play demos more than once, but this one's got me feeling a certain way.

Just finished it. I enjoyed it so much I kind of forgot I was playing a demo. And the way it cuts from Eve's final blow on the boss to the highlight reel at the end is stylish as hell.

According to playstation universe, Take-Two only purchased Gearbox Entertainment and not Gearbox Publishing. That's probably where the layoffs came from.

Really great to hear that this is shaping up to be something special, but between this, FF7 Rebirth, Helldivers 2, Granblue Fantasy Relink and Rise of the Ronin, hearing all this talk about playstation having a bad year makes me feel like I'm going insane.

I haven't played it yet, but it's Vanillaware so it gets at least an 8 from me by default.

Skyrim felt monumental back in 2011. Now it feels like a relic, and Bethesda's latest efforts haven't done much to sway that opinion. With games like Dragon's Dogma, Horizon and Zelda, they have too much stiff competition for Elder Scrolls 6 to just be another Bethesda game.

I've had it pre-ordered for ages now. I might play it before DD2 depending on how I feel, but right now everything is on the back burner until I finish FF7 Rebirth l.

Gotta finish Rebirth first, but yes, I'm absolutely playing it. This is my second dream-come-true game to come put this year.

I decided to hold off on new game plus until after the DLC came out. Turned out to ve a good decision. I can't wait to play Final Fantasy mode with all this new stuff

@hookedWORM17 That was the last Xbox game I was interested in. (And that was ten years ago)

I had it pre ordered, but I probably won't get around to it until after Rise of the Ronin, Dragon's Dogma 2 and Stellar Blade.

It's still there only Xbox game I'm really interested in at the moment though, so I'm glad they brought it to playstation.
