A decade ago, I was convinced those two games would never exist. Now I'm going to be playing them back to back in just a few months. That might make 2024 my favorite year for video games by default.

That's good news for the entire Skull and Bones fanbase. I'm sure he'll be thrilled to finally get his hands on it.

Pretty much what I expected. I don't really have a problem with a bog standard Ubisoft open world game, but I'm not buying this unless they add a third person mode.

Exploration looks pretty fun, which is the only question I still had about this game.
It was always going to be a day one buy for me, but it's still nice to know.

It's a damn good platinum. I haven't gotten it yet because I didn't do enough web line takedowns. But that my fault for not looking at the trophy list sooner.

They got the Vagyrisk in the game. That's how you know they care.

I love Vanillaware, but this feels like their blandest game to date. The lack of George Kamitani is really noticeable. I'm sure I'll play it eventually, but I just hope they make a new action game soon.

I deeply appreciate these balance changes Neowiz keep making. It nice to see a developer looking at their game, seeing that there's room for improvement and making it more welcoming. Rather that treating 'accessible' as a dirty word, saying you made you game hard on purpose and only making changes to just make it harder.

The PS4 is ine hell of a console. The only reason it's not my favorite is because the PS5 exists now. Still, Sony really hit their stride with this one and it deserves all the success it got.

The PS5 is the first console I've ever owned since launch, and it became my default console faster than any other. There's no denying that playing on it is just more fun than any other system I've owned. And I have a feeling that the best is still yet to come. And considering the offerings we've gotten so far, that's a really exciting feeling.

If Jeff Grubb is going to make a prediction that safe and still give himself an out anyway, maybe we shouldn't take him so seriously l.

I'm giving Lies of P another go. I wasn't really feeling it the first time I tried it, but now that I have a build in place it really starting to click. I just wish they'd work on the tracking and hitboxes because you take way too much damage to not have those dialed in right.

Easy 10/10. It improves on everything the first two games did, and finds a new take on the symbiote story that really stuck with me. GOTY for sure. Insomniac could make a hundred more Spider-man games and I'll play every single one of them.

That's the third time I've made that joke and it somehow gets more true each time.

They also announced that we'd be getting more original suits post launch. And that's awesome. I love seeing all these original designs from different types of artists.

This looks really good, but I'd be much more interested in a PS port of Honkai Impact 3rd.

I'm neck deep in Genshin Impact's latest update. Fontaine is something else; all the new plants, enemies and underwater gameplay is getting me excited for this game again and it feels great.

@AdamNovice fluid movement and flashy combat. It's not that complicated

Between this and Forspoken, 2023 feels like the year of open world games made to appeal to me specifically and I very much appreciate it.
