It looks good. It looks really good. But I just can't get excited about first-person games.

I'm honestly a little surprised Xbox didn't try to lock this one down considering how salty they are over Genshin Impact but I'm looking for nonetheless.

Genuinely more excited for this than Starfield.

I found this to be a thoroughly whleming showcase. The heavy hitters were all the games we already knew about, and given Microsoft's track record, I don't have a ton of confidence that these games will come out and be good. Or at all.

Sony may be a bit defensive right now, but I think they can afford to be if Microsoft's big game-changing showcase ended up being this standard.

The fact that this has a dodge dash is all I need to get excited.

The character designs and music choice really mutes the first impression. But I think the real issue is that it looks more like a typical Metroidvania than a Prince of Persia game. Other than that I think it looks pretty awesome.

Peter's suits look pretty good, but Miles' suits are drippy as hell. Especially the Tokusatsu suit.
I'm getting the collector's edition for sure, so I'm looking forward to seeing them in game.

And to all the naysayers saying they look ugly, I'm sorry you're so f@$king basic.

It's getting harder and harder for me to get excited about another Souls-like. And even though this looks good, it's not Bloodborne because nothing else ever will be.
I'm sure I'll play it eventually, same with Lords of the Fallen, but right now it's getting a great big 'Meh' from me

Im still waiting for the update where they confirm that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is in fact, a video game.

Yuri Lowenthal also makes a brief cameo in the movie as well. That and hearing Josh Keaton again put some of the biggest smiles on my face.

Hopefully in the third one we'll see all the different variants of Miles so that Nadji Jeter can get a cameo. He definitely deserves one.

All cool additions, but at this point it's probably time to rule out new game plus.
I don't see why they couldn't add it. One of the post game missions is a boss rush so I don't think it would throw off the game's balance.
It's not a huge deal. I can still see myself replaying now and again.

I'm going to say something that no one else in earth has ever said; I'll be taking a break from Zelda to play Forspoken's DLC.

I think I'd be okay with that. Numbered installments bring certain expectations with the. I'm all in on Final Fantasy 16, but I get why some people are turned off by it. It's not that different than why I was let down by Samurai Warriors 5, and dropping the Number and going for a subtitle could go a long way in dealing with that.

I think there's a decent chance they'll stealth drop a demo for FF16. Spider-man 2 is going to crush it. I have no other predictions right now, and that's what really excites me.

I think a good way to honor Lance in Horizon 3 would be to meet a confidant of Silens in whatever new region Aloy goes to. Someone Silens had a rivalry but mutual respect with.
And obviously, he should be played by Lavar Burton.

Just pre-ordered the collector's edition. I can't wait to get my hands on this.

From the makers of Lords of the Fallen comes the sequel to Lords of the Fallen; Lords of the Fallen.

If Microsoft put as much work into managing the studios they already have that they are for this acquisition, maybe they wouldn't need Activision.

I'd give it an 8. I'm not blown away by it, it's still rough around the edges in all the same ways it's predecessor was, and it feels like Respawn spent more time packing in more content than polishing the core gameplay. That said it's still leagues better than Fallen Order, and it has me excited for where the next game could go.

It's probably just that Sony doesn't want to pay $1000 a month for a stupid checkmark. (I certainly wouldn't) But if someone told me that Elon Musk saw the ending of Burning Shores and unverified them out of spite, I wouldn't call them a liar.

For the most part it ran fine for me. My real issue is that all the lights and reflections turn the game into a shimmering nightmare any time you move the camera.

The game still looks fantastic, but none of this was necessary. I get Square wants to show off the game and the fact that it actually got done on schedule for once, but restraint is the name of the game at this point.

I have to say, I wasn't really feeling this game at first. I thought Fallen Order was just okay and the trailers for this just made it look like more of the same. But the extended gameplay previews flipped me all the way around. This game looks awesome and I'm definitely picking it up day one.

Maybe, but games like God of War and Horizon are experiences I want to have on a big T.V. screen. I mainly want a new handheld from Sony for smaller games I can enjoy on a smaller screen. Key word being smaller. I don't want a handheld system the size of a t.v. tray that'll break my toe if I drop it

Definitely Burning Shores. I might pick up Jedi Survivor at launch, but it just looks a bit underwhelming at the moment.

It looks good, but what I always admired about the Ys series is how it always improves incrementally with each release. This just looks like Ys 8 again. And it's what I was expecting when I heard the devs talk about how this was designed for the Switch

Not yet. I might get it in a few months, but after last year, Elden Ring showed I'm just not in the right place for brutally hard games at the moment.

I'm feeling great about FF16. And it feels good to say that because I've had very mixed feelings about the series' shifts in direction from 11 onwards. Still, I'm glad to see those creative risks. Final Fantasy doesn't have to be a set in stone brand, and I'm glad Square Enix knows that.

Not yet, but I do plan on getting it. The Toukiden games are probably my favorite Monster Hunter-esque games overall (I might even like them more) so I know Omega Force has the chops to make this a great game.
Perhaps ironically, this game made me want to go back and play more Toukiden, which is why I haven't picked up Wild Hearts yet.
