This looks incredibly average to me. Regardless of the level of polish, seeing the first AAA Bleach game in over a decade just do what everyone else is doing is just underwhelming.

That said, they just announced Rangiku for the game, so I'm now obligated to play it.

This is the third title in about a year to have this issue, and even Xbox's first party games keep launching at 30 fps specifically on console. Maybe it's just me, but when devs keep talking about issues with Xbox development, I choose to believe them.

Right now, I'd give it an 8. I haven't gotten far enough to say if that's my definitive score, but so far I'm enjoying it as much as I expected to.

After Elden Ring, getting to fight bosses with clear timings and openings feels like a breath of fresh air. It feels good to look forward to a boss encounter again instead of just dreading them.

With how FromSoftware's design philosophy has changed in the years since Bloodborne, I don't think I want them to do a sequel. They haven't made a game that fine tuned and balanced since.

Phil can do all the corporate speak he wants, but we know the truth. Microsoft put themselves in the bafflingly unprecedented position of being the biggest publisher with the smallest platform, and when you compound that with a sunk cost driver like Gamepass, your not going to get your money back without your competitors picking up your slack.

For everyone curious, Playstation China released PS5 footage of the game the other day and you can find it on YouTube. I'm no performance expert, but it looks pretty solid to me.

If nothing else, the lack of PS5 codes should prove that Sony doesn't have an exclusive deal with this game.

As we all know, it's more efficient to do a flip off of a roof instead of just jumping off it.

Just booted it back up. This game is criminally underrated, and I hope at least a few more people give it a chance now.
