and I am still not spending 1000+ CAD for this. The improvements are too small and I don't care about Ray tracing, it makes games look unrealistic.

Hell, Ray Tracing not only makes games unrealistic, it's a giant waste of ressources and it needs to go. I am going for an AMD GPU next because if you don't care about ray tracing, they're better than Nvidia.

I played Prince of Persia the Lost Crown and the Crew Motorfest, these are the only 2 games I loved from Ubisoft this gen.

Far Cry is the only other series I love from them, but with Far Cry 7 rumored to have a time limit, I think I am out. If it doesn't, I will get it.

They need to stop Assassin Creed completely. That series has too many games, the last really good one was Black Flag. After Valhalla, I am completely burned out.

Star Wars Outlaws seems to be trash and that's coming from Star Wars fans. I literally couldn't care less for it, as I hate Star Wars and I never understood why anyone would love this garbage.

It's the same for Avatar Frontier of Pandora. Far Cry reskin based on a trash sci-fi series I have no idea why anyone likes.

I guess there is Rayman ... oh wait, they will obviously never make one of them ever again, that series is buried for good.

Those Tom Clancy games are dividing. Their games are either extremely good or the worst garbage you've ever seen.

Any games I haven't mentionned above is just trash that should never have existed. If anyone has a time machine, please erase them.

@Rambo-kind My problem with Lies of P is that the dodge suck so much that you're basically forced to parry. I hate parrying and even if I didn't, I want to play the game however I want to and not the way developer want to force on me. Which is why I thought Sekiro was hot garbage. The only FromSoftware game I actually hate.

I am definitely buying this day one. I got Lord of the Fallen later on sale and it was the best soulslike I played this gen (I thought it was better than Elden Ring).

Lol at people thinking Xbox is going to get those games. Xbox sales would be so low that it wouldn't make any differences. In fact porting the game would likely make them lose money.

Switch and Switch 2 aren't powerful enough for something like Rebirth and XVI. Yes I included Switch 2 because let's be realistic, it will be in the ballpark of base PS4 in term of power, so don't expect all AAA games to be ported to it.

I will wait and see, but from what I've seen so far, there isn't much difference between PS5 performance mode and PS5 pro visuals. Not one worth 700$ at least.

Ray tracing needs to die already. It takes up too much ressources that could be used elsewhere and it makes games look unrealistic. Real life doesn't have that much reflections in all its surfaces, why do games have an unrealistic amounts of them, I don't know, but it's beyond stupid.

We've also reached a point where visuals have reach their peaks and developers should go back to improving story, gameplay and everything else. Otherwise the cost of games will skyrocket even more and the industry won't be able to sustain itself much longer.

@Czar_Khastik What benefits? There is barely any difference between PS5 Pro and performance modes on a standard PS5. Not one that would demand such a high price.

No, this game should not come to PC imo. It's probably the game that use the PS5 controller the most, how would that work on PC? Dub down the experience for PC players or force them to use a PS5 controller? This is the one game that shouldn't be released elsewhere.

Microsoft can waste all their money marketing this, but it doesn't matter. The PS5 version will likely outsell the Xbox version at a 10:1 ratio at the very least.

@Czar_Khastik The fact that Sony hasn't fixed this yet means they likely never will. It's present on all portal no matter how good your network is. 99% of people just don't notice it, but if you do, it's so annoying that the Portal is basically trash.

I'd rather have Megaman X9 with Megaman X1-3 or X4-6 type of visuals, just like they did with Megaman 9, 10 and 11.

X7 and X8 with 3d graphics completely turned me off. They were also pretty bad games.

That gameplay is likely from a build that is 6 months old or more, so really, it doesn't represent the final product at all.

The reason I didn't get it is because it's 30fps for what looks like a PS4 Pro game at best in term of visuals. I am not interested in a trial either.

The only game on PS3 I would like to play again is 3D Dot Game Heroes. The rest of that generation can stay in the past for all I care, everything else that matters got a remaster or remake or it's going to get one.

If it's happening, it's probably happening for PS5 long before it happens for PC.

Sony just didn't bother because Xbox wouldn't have moved the needle at all. More and more developers are realizing this: Putting your game on Xbox won't make you money and it's a waste of ressources.

Trails through Daybreak is the only thing that interest me. I have beaten Elden Ring already and not going back anytime soon. As for SMT, that series is of no interest to me, I only play Persona games.
