@JAMes-BroWWWn I mean, he and the Xbox PR team have hit such lows in the last few years that I wouldn’t put something like this beside them but no they want paying videogamer money to get out of the grave they dug for themselves

Re: Rumour: Even Gears of War Is Reportedly in Talks to Come to PlayStation

We commit to put COD on PlayStation for at least 10 years and…every other game we make.

I think rumors are going too rampant…I can see a few games making it to PlayStation (I am totally convinced about ES6 now) but all these rumors seem a bit too much if they are staying in the console maker market. There’s barely any reason to buy an Xbox now if you have a decent PC, this would make it just extravagant.

@Perturbator @ShogunRok I laughed.

This game sounded exciting before it launched! I Played 10 hours on PC to be able to join “the discourse” about it and after a while I just realized not only I wasn’t having fun but I was actually feeling like I was going through chores…I don’t think releasing it now, post the mid (still suspiciously high, seriously the game is nowhere near an 8, are they paying journalists?) reviews would move that many copies on PS5

Hurgh we got a code for this! But I am busy preparing my FFVII PHD replaying Crisis Core, Remake and the original game whilst also fencing off German kids online in Tekken 8 (why Bamco, why? Fix the localization!)

@Ravix not meaning to start a flame or anything but realistically I don’t think Sony and Valve need to counter Microsoft in anything related to hardware as Xbox, as a physical console, is slowly becoming more scarcely relevant with each generation. Game Pass is probably contributing to selling a few SD as well!

Re: Baldur's Gate 3 on PS Plus Is Probably Never Going to Happen

Well wrote and completely on point!

Also games are best compared to books than to movies in terms of time commitment and I think a lot of people still prefer to buy books (physically and digitally) instead of renting them (even from libraries) on services. It’s something that stays with you for a significant while and that you can revisit from time to time if you feel like it
