This could have used a fov patch. Tried the demo on PS5, but it was unplayable for me. Got it on pc and it plays so much better.

If this happens I hope they keep FromSoftware games multi-platform. I'd rather see FromSoft independent though.

I doubt it will have legs. It's an average game, with at times downright atrocious writing.. It's like a 5-7 out of 10 game, which isn't good enough for a triple A studio. I honestly question the objectivity of the publications scoring this game any higher than a 7.

I'm gonna wait for the PS6 remaster.

The game is certainly not a 0 or 1 out of 10, but it certainly isn't a 9 or 10 either.

Of this list I played Helldivers 2 and DA Veilguard. All I can say is that DA shouldn't be on this list, unless all the other games are really bad to mediocre.

I'm playing Mafia Definitive Edition and will be trying out DA Veilguard on PC.

If anything, now would be a good time to get a PC. You can play all Xbox exclusives and pretty much all PS exclusives after a while as well.

I tried it on my tv (1080p)...it looks horribly fuzzy in both graphic modes.

@ShogunRok I suggest you watch the video made by Fextralife. Anyway, I'll be waiting for more information on this. Like I said, I remember Cyberpunk all too well. This seems like my type of game, but I rarely buy games at launch. Last one was BG3 although that one had the 1st act as early access for quite a while before launching.

@twitchtvpat For me it's not really about what the studios are doing. And in that case these support studios could have been assisting on upcoming games.
Also if there is anything that would deserve an upgrade it's Bloodborne which is stuck on 30 fps. A modder patched Bloodborne to play at 60 fps with just 2 (not sure) lines of code. Sony should have patched it for free years ago. Instead they update something like Zero Dawn which didn't need an update in the first place, so they can charge money for it.

It looks better, but the game stays the same. I guess it's nice if you play games for the visuals or are a big fan and want to play it again. For me Zero Dawn isn't a game I need to replay again, no matter how good it looks. ( The original already looks great btw..). Besides this constant remastering of pretty recent games is getting ridiculous and I don't want to support that.

The original already looks really good. Don't really see the point of this. Specially when the framerate drops from 60 to 30 in this remake.

Surely this will be a PS plus game in the near future.

I don't really understand why you'd buy a cosmetic item for a game with an isometric viewpoint. Then again I don't understand why you'd spend money on digital cosmetics in the first place

Nope. And if the PS6 is gonna be priced similarly (which I expect) the PS5 will be my last console. I'll be going back to PC only. Maybe if Microsoft makes an Xbox that can run Steam, that could be interesting.

Price is ridiculous. I think with the way Sony prices their products at a premium the PS6 price might be a bit ridiculous as well.

I liked Days Gone for the gameplay, but the characters were written so poorly. His reaction to Team Asobi's homage is pathetic. Still can't cope that their pitch for a sequel got shot down. Get over it already.

Even if they had a big marketing budget I don't think it would have made a big difference. They need to make better games. I play Forza Motorsport with my friends. Because of my friends I'm having fun, but the game itself is just sub par. Definitely needed more time in the oven. And that's the case with a lot of their games. With playstation you know you're getting finished games (aside from a few bugs at launch).

I don't think it's really necessary. There have barely been games that really tested the PS5. So far Demon's Souls looks the best. Nothing has come close imo. And if I had money to waste I'd probably buy a good PC instead of the PS5 pro.

I wouldn't mind if exclusives disappear completely. PS games on Xbox and vice versa. I don't think it would change much. People have their digital libraries and will stick with what they know.

If only it was also on Xbox so I could co-op with my shooter buddies. Then I'd play it. Don't think this will be very fun with randoms.

@OldGamer999 For an old gamer you seem to have a bad memory, cause I remember that Microsoft bought gta4 dlc exclusivity for 360. I personally don't like exclusivity wether it's by Sony or Xbox. With all the acquisitions we're heading to the walled garden BS that we see in streaming. It's rather silly to think one company looks better than the other when both do it.

@cburg I just find it funny when people talk about how many jobs those companies have provided while they are actively trying to cut their workforce to have as little costs as possible. And at the same time barely paying any taxes over the absurd amount of profit they make.
