If they had 5 different weapons to choose from, 5 armour sets, and 4 extra abilities to choose from, that would be a hundred different combinations right there. Bragging about "hundreds" of different build permutations isn't a very impressive boast.

The games are great fun. I put in a lot of hours into World and Iceborne when they came out, and similarly with Rise and Sunbreak as well. Though I'm in no hurry to get back to Monster Hunter just yet, I am looking forward to Wilds.

Most of these are absolute bangers, but I voted for Persona 2: Eternal Punishment as that music feels so epic.

If we wanted to include spin-offs, then my absolute favourite Persona opening is for Persona 5 The Animation opening 1. An in terms of games, Persona 4 Arena is my favourite Persona game opening.

Tomb Raider remasters for me. I'd like to eventually play Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, though I've still got other games in that series to play through before worrying about getting the latest one.

He should be locked away. He's hacked multiple times, and expressed desire to continue committing cyber crimes, so it's not a one-off mistake. Plus the BBC article mentions he was violent whilst in custody.

Locking him away indefinitely in a hospital until he's no longer deemed a risk (and not for life as this article's headline wrongly says) seems like the only reasonable call here.

I'm not convinced this is a good idea to have by default. On some games, I might want my character to be OP and breeze through everything. And other times, I might want to suffer from an extremely tricky challenge.

I'm playing some more Hitman: World of Assassination and some Muse Dash, which are basically my current go-to games when I'm not playing anything specific. It's probably also a good weekend for me to get started on another game.

I've filled it in, though I wouldn't mind another survey that's more about what people like/dislike about the site.

I clocked in at 561 hours, having played 10 games. I obtained 269 trophies, including 3 platinums.

Kim looks great there, maybe even too great. The in-game artwork for Disco Elysium characters are a lot less flattering.

It doesn't really seem like a contradiction. Microsoft would presumably love to have PS5 players paying for a Game Pass subscription, but I can't see Microsoft being able to achieve that any time soon.

£150 though, it's a bit too rich tea for my tastes.

Delaying until presumably 2024 isn't much of a surprise, as we were approaching the end of 2023 without a release date. The previous trailers have looked interesting, so I'm excited for this.

I'll give my vote to Hogwarts Legacy. I don't think it's necessarily the GOTY, but it deserved some nominations at the very least (particularly in the Best RPG category). It's also my favourite out of the very few new 2023 releases that I actually played, though I haven't yet got around to some of the other big names.

Wanting Roblox currencies or Call of Duty points for Christmas is an alien concept to me, but I admit I have no idea what kids are into these days.

Well, that's lame. I generally dislike this sort of censorship or self-censorship or whatever it is here. Plus, the original design sure does looks better.

I enjoyed the game back at launch. It's very fun. However, I'm not too fussed about heading back to it and trying out the new content.

I'm not really familiar with the original game, but that remake trailer does look superb. It's certainly caught my interest.

I'm mostly jumping around between Metal Gear 1, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, and Disco Elysium, though I'll also give the new Mario Kart 8 tracks a try.

At this point it doesn't look like they're releasing anything before 2024. As long as they don't rush these games out, then there's a few that I'm really looking forward to.

As much as I love the Like a Dragon games, I don't plan on playing this any time soon. There's still plenty of other games in the series before I reach this one, and that's assuming I don't burn out on the series before then.

Hopefully it'll be brilliant as always, though I'm a little bit cautious on this for now until we know more about the game.

I'm playing some Hitman: World of Assassination, as they've added a brand new limited time elusive target. Also finishing off The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, and getting started on Metal Gear.

I'm new to Metal Gear Solid, but I've picked up this collection. I'm excited to find out why people love this series.

I played the demo of this on PC, but didn't get on well with it. None of the characters clicked with me, and some of them were insufferable. The reviews, along with concerns about the pacing, aren't doing much to make me change my mind about this.

If I ever get a PS5, then it may as well be the newer slim model. However, since nearly all the games that I'm eager for have also been released on PS4 or PC, it hardly seems worth it for me. If things continue as is, then I'll be perfectly content with skipping this generation.

Remaster is fine with me. As I don't have any way to play the original, I'm eager to give the remaster a try, assuming they don't mess it up.

Though I enjoy the Like A Dragon games, I'm still very much behind on that series. So there's not a lot of point in me getting the new one straight away. I am excited for the Tomb Raider remasters though.

I'm not hyped yet, but that's purely because I never got round to playing the first one. The series is on my radar, I want to give them a try some day.

I played a bit of the first Commandos back at the time, though I never did get far in it. I was probably just too young for it back then. Might be something I'd enjoy more now if I tried it again.

That's amusing. I don't blame him for getting it wrong though. The useful part of the question, that it's a Sony console, was tucked away at the end. Plus, the mention of Push Square might have been distracting, since boxes are square.

That's a useful feature. I wouldn't ever blindly trust user reviews, but they can be useful to consider amongst other factors.

Those specs seem fine to me. I doubt the 30 vs 60FPS situation is going to matter much for what was originally a PS1 game. I've never played any Metal Gear before, so this collection seems like the perfect place to jump into it.

Definitely want to one day, but I'd need to either upgrade to a PS5 or upgrade my PC. I enjoyed the base game at launch even on PS4, but I wouldn't want to replay it without the new update on more powerful hardware.

I'm definitely excited for Decapolice, hopefully that'll turn out great. Though, the Level-5 game I'm most excited for is the upcoming Professor Layton game over on the Switch. I'm very fond of the Layton series, so hoping that'll be a return to form.

I'd be half-tempted to try out the digital version if it was going for cheaply enough. Can't say I'm eager to get any of that merch though.

Looks great so far. It's certainly one to watch out for.

I played a lot of Sims 1 & 3 (missed out on 2), but Sims 4 never really clicked with me. My main issue was that 4's base game was very underwhelming. The various expansion packs might have helped fix that, but the huge cost of the DLCs put me right off.

It sounds like Wales Interactive's usual affair. I which case, I may enjoy this more than the reviewer did.

I'm certainly interested, and hoping that Level-5 is back on form, but I'll need to see more of this game first.

That's a pleasant surprise. I'm excited for a whole new entry in the series.

More of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, it's been excellent so far. Also might be able to finish off Hogwarts Legacy. I've finished the main story, so I'll just do any interesting looking side quests, then that'll probably be it for me.

I've been interested in playing Lollipop Chainsaw, so hoping they don't mess up this remake.

Surprisingly good game, I had lots of fun with this.

I'm interested, but it depends on how great the single player experience is. Rockstar usually has a wonderful single player, though they have lost some of their writers, and GTA Online was a goldmine for them, so I'm a little cautious about GTA VI.

I'd certainly like to replay this game. Not sure yet if I'll get it straight away, or wait for a sale.

Personally I don't get all the hate. It's an excellent game, and I didn't have any way of replaying it until now, so I'm interested. Not sure though if I'll get it at full price, or wait for a sale.

Nice. It's great that there'll finally be a way to play it on a modern PS console.
