Re: Sorry Physical Fans! The New Like a Dragon May Be Digital Only on PS5, PS4

I prefer physical but will buy digital, if it's something I want to play ASAP. The big upside to digital for publishers is there no logistics involved and they all but eliminate the second-hand market. That latter part is what bugs me the most but it's the same for PC games. Most of the keys market is like some back alley fencing operation.

These were my comments exactly on the last article and I got flamed. Niche product but I love the concept. One day someone is going to break that barrier but I don't see it happening soon. Too connected and too isolated. I really do want it to be successful and approachable but it just isn't there yet. It's caught in a loop, needs to be more successful to see more games, and needs more games to be successful. Let's see what happens with Apple. Not expecting much, either, there due to price point.

Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity

I almost pulled the trigger but not enough AAA confirmed games. IMO, they're caught in a paradox. They aren't going to get large development of AAA games without a large enough user base, and they aren't going to get large enough sales without AAA games. I think it's unfortunately still a niche market. Apple thinks they're going to change that with a $3k device?

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 Patch Out Now, Promises Improved Performance and Crash Fixes

Really my only complaint with this game is the single save system. It really makes soft/hard lock bugs, that much worse. Late game I literally kept falling to my death because it was locked into a falling death spiral. That can be fixed by restarting but there are apparently some hard lock bugs late game, that you'll have to wait for a patch to keep playing. Give people multiple save slots, it's not that hard.

Re: Xbox Boss Admits Microsoft Can't 'Outconsole' PS5

Great games are all I care about. If games like God of War, Horizon, excellent Spider-Man games, and Last of US weren't on Sony, I probably wouldn't have bought a PS4 and then a PS5. Mario, Metroid, and Zelda are the reason I own a Switch. Why do I need an Xbox if almost anything of any value that they offer, I can play on my PC? What is the system selling game for Xbox?

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PS5 Physical Copies Require a Download to Play

@LN78 Agreed. I'm at a point in my life where I don't need the cash and can keep physical games in my library but I don't really know how anyone can think that physical isn't a better option to give you choices a digital copy never could. I see people try to debate that all the time but to me it's a no brainer. Not saying digital is bad but if you have the option, I'd always go physical media. I know the gaming industry is trying to push us all towards digital, because they hate the used game market, but I'll hold out as long as I can.
