Re: Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Is Going to Look Unreal on PS5

I think 5 was light years ahead of the technology and gameplay available at the time. I know if I looked back at it now, it would just feel dated but I'll keep it in my nostalgic container, for now, and pretend it wouldn't. Personally can't remember a more atmospheric game I've ever played. Maybe the original Bioshock?

Re: Spider-Man 2 Doesn't Need Its Day One PS5 Patch, But Insomniac Games Still Recommends Downloading It

Not sure about day one, but if it's on my must buy list I'm usually finished with the game before substantial patches come out. Exception, Cyberpunk 2077. I bought it played for 30 minutes and shelved it. Over a year later with patches actually making it playable, I picked it back up. Got at least 20 hours in and having a blast. Can't imagine a QA team just passing the first version unless there was pressure from top dogs. I would have never signed off on it.

Re: Where to Pre-Order PlayStation Portal

@JimRyansReplacement Except you've been able to do that for a long time, even back to the PS4. Seems like a very niche device. I'll let everyone beta test and give personal reviews to see if it's for me.

Try not putting out the same iterative crap or COD 38 because you know it will at least sell. Try putting out a game that you know is going to be fantastic not just keep the lights on. Having said that, most of these masterpieces have been years in the making. Nintendo could be putting out a decent, but not great, Zelda every two years. If that's what they wanted to do. Don't complain about standards or goal posts being moved. Celebrate and rise above them. We know every game can't be this great but unless you are an Indie company, you have zero excuses, and when people cry about it not being out yet, keep going. I had forgotten all about BG3 and didn't realize I played the open beta a couple of years back until I started the game and it all felt too familiar. I love the game (already clocked over 150 hours) but I don't think they've done anything here that's beyond the capabilities of any major studio. Stop whining and build a better one.

Re: Diablo 4 Players Use 'Dopamine Tunnels' to Gain 40 Levels in 2 Hours

Seems like it would just ruin the game you paid for. I love gaming but I am older with terrible reflexes and usually so bad I have to lower difficulty but Diablo IV feels almost too easy, as is. Just my opinion but if you paid for the game you should be able to play it however you want. Outside of cheating in multiplayer, that's just stupid.
