Disappointed. Really enjoyed GoT but I'm not a big fan of Samurai setting so I'm not all that excited for a sequel. I will play it someday, would just rather have a new inFAMOUS and Sly Cooper instead.
They should reboot inFAMOUS to bring Cole back. At the very least, someone should remake/remaster the originals so that PS4&5 can play those without relying on Plus service.
Seems everyone wants to make their games into movies/series these days.
Really love Persona but I'm not sure how to feel about this. It would be better suited for being a long animated series. And they should redo that. Put a lot of episodes into each season. Should look closer to the games too.
The only way I can see this working is that the actors and real world locations will need to look a LOT like the ones in the game and everything else will have to be CGI. Let's see how the trailer looks when they launch one. If it looks bad then I will be skipping it
@gbanas92 Played Quantum Break and loved that one. Great story and characters. Mainly because of Shawn Ashmore and Aidan Gillen. The gameplay was good there too, just not as good as Control. Would love to see a sequel for that with Control's gameplay, physics and destruction. That's pretty much the reason why I took interest in Control in the first place and being able to play it on PS4
@gbanas92 Glad you enjoyed it! Quite a good lot of my friends enjoyed it too and said the same thing. It's in no way a bad game. Just different strokes for different folks. lol
I understand it's frustrating for some but they need to have a little patience. The news will come. I think the delay is to do with recent news in the US. We've had quite a good number of reveals delayed due to big news hitting the headlines. Sony want the hype. They will want to be the thing we all talk about so they will pick a moment when news is quieter
You don't have to like every game that's popular. Imo it's a waste of time trying to force yourself to like something everyone else does. That time is better spent on games you could actually enjoy and there are far too many great games out there to even have time to play everything so stick with the ones you want the most
The same thing happened to me with Control. The gameplay was excellent but I thought the story was stupid and the characters were so dull I was falling asleep just listening to them. I nearly uninstalled that game and just like you I was wondering why was I still playing. The answer was because I thought it would start to get good soon and then I was so close to the end. I was relieved when it finally ended and the first thing that came to my mind was thinking that was an absolute waste of time I won't repeat again. lol
I always found it to be annoying before this newer Plus came. Thankfully I'm not getting the big spam yet as my premium is on an alt account at the moment.
It's worth saving them though. Someday in the future you might want to look back and see if you claimed something so it helps makes it easier to find. Imo it's better for them to be seperate emails than to be bundled into one. Set up a folder, highlight them all at once, click read at once without opening them and then leave them in that folder.
Little story from my Vita days. A game I claimed from PS+ eventually ended up delisted and I had a hard time finding it. Because I bundled the purchase with other PS+ games, I couldn't find it so I had to deal with Sony directly to help get it back and that took months. The email helped me find the date I claimed it
I still enjoy the game and come back from time to time. Really need the Gridfall mode to come back so I can try earn one more character trophy. It's also the most fun mode imo.
Currently using Premium because I bought PS Now when it was 50% off. It will run out at the end of October. Really enjoying the classic games again. Just wish there was a much bigger selection to choose from for it's extra charge. If the list doesn't grow much, then it would push me down to Extra when it runs out.
Most of the time I prefer playing with just the main character so I don't use the other party members much or at all in some games. I have complete faith in Yoshida making an amazing game with a great protagonist so I'm looking forward to it
Really enjoyed the movie. Watched it twice and I will continue to rewatch it again. Still not as good as the games but it's better not to compare them. Tom and Mark did a fine job, it just took me a while to get used to them. They certainly put Uncharted on the map so I hope we get a sequel and maybe someday if it's popular enough we could see actors better suited for the roles
That's a tough choice because I want them all equally so much. But I voted for VII Rebirth.
The reason for that choice is because we know how part 1 goes and it was so well made! So we have a good idea what to expect from part 2 gameplay.
Crisis Core lost the vote because it's a remaster. I would prefer to have a remake. Remaster doesn't change my feelings for the game, just loses that vote on here. lol. And we don't know what to expect from XVI so that loses the vote for that reason.
I haven't played the first one properly. Tried a bit of it twice on the PS3 and was quick to leave it as I didn't like it.
Took an interest in it again for PS4 because of a different game, which might have been Dragon's Age, but never found the time to play it. A lot has changed with my taste between PS3 and PS4 so I really need to go back play it properly. It's one of those games sitting in my backlog for a long time
Final Fantasy I choose you! Will watch both of course but Final Fantasy first. I don't think we will see much of Part 2 and that Crisis Core could be in the spotlight today. Maybe a small teaser at the end to announce the real show for September (perhaps for Sonys showcase)
If the Switch is getting the game then I don't see it being a Crisis Core remake. It would most likely be a remaster of the original or it could be that phone game Ever Crisis. Would much rather have a remake though
I'd say they are far too busy working on Final Fantasy XVI and VII part 2 to have the time for a proper remake for Crisis Core. It's already taking so long to get a part 2
I know a lot of people like to hate on it and think it's a waste of time and resources but ND are working on other projects too and this gives some of their developers something to work on until they are needed elsewhere.
The remake looks amazing so far. The price puts me off but I see myself playing it at some point. Love the first game so much I could replay it over and over.
There is nothing wrong with the remastered version so for most people that's all anyone needs. But the remake breathes new life into the game and will reach out to a new audience. Will pull in some hardcore fans too that want to play a better version of it. Price is steep for now but it won't be forever. So for anyone that doesn't want to buy it, stick with the remastered version! It's still a great game and there's nothing wrong with it. Treat it as if this remake never happened and enjoy the remaster one instead. ND are still working on the new projects so nothing is being lost.
Really hope we get it free. 60fps and the full controller works would make it amazing but that isn't enough to spend so much money on. Perhaps they could include PSVR 2 support and put us in the first person view of Joker
She looks amazing for the remake and matches her age. I prefer the older one though. The original that is not the one that looks like I was frozen for 20 years and just woke up
I always seen Kingdom Hearts as it's own thing but having those Final Fantasy characters just makes the game even more special. I love seeing them being a part of it. They don't need a big part in the game and leaving them out just makes the game feel less special. It takes away the merger between Disney and FF and just becomes Disney
I'm going to jump into this discussion regarding the size of the games. But I'd like to see the games to go back to how it used to be also.
As much as I enjoy the newer games, Origins is amazing for exploring and Odyssey is great for the combat. But Valhalla has shown me how empty the world is. There is soooo many collectibles all over the place. And this is the future of the game, keep making them bigger, make it grindy, more open empty spaces, forget what's happening in the story, etc. The reason why Origins exploring is so good is because Ancient Egypt is so interesting. But the same can't be said for many other places.
I'm fine with them making big open world games but i think they should be standalone warrior games while they focus on what made AC feel like a proper assassin game with many different ways to get stealth kills. If Ubi wants to keep making AC open world as it is, then it would be nice to have the older games every now and again in between releases
It's very manipulating. Wouldn't have made a difference to most of us that follow gaming news well but many that just follow Xbox news or took an interest will fall for it thinking it was exclusive. Seen comments before on social media from time to time when people don't realise a certain game is also coming out to the other platform too until after they used it as bragging ammo.
There's still time yet to impress us. If they are so confident it's going well, a little demo would be nice. We could feel differently when we play it ourselves so let us have a taste.
Probably just talk about the future roadmap for the game, a reminder about Origins update, and talk about some progress we all made. Not expecting anything for the next game but a small teaser, even just a clue would be nice.
@anoyonmus That's true but that's a Square Enix game which was released on the Switch 3 years before Xbox got it so who knows how long their deal could last. We don't even know what's happening with Final Fantasy 7 Remake for Xbox.
But SEGA wants Atlus games multiplatform so I don't think they would be locking PlayStation and Nintendo out.
It's great news to know that they are a thing! They didn't say anything about exclusively so it's most likely coming to PS4&5. Will continue to play them on my Vita until then.
Nintendo will no doubt wait until a Nintendo Direct to announce them and maybe after that we can hear about PlayStation
Any chance you could include a box to say if the games have auto-pop for the trophies?
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is a very friendly game for auto-pops. You can upload the save from one platform and download it onto the other. So no matter which platform you play, you can get the auto-pop trophies for the other.

I think most of us here aren't really the right audience for this. Just a small minority fans that want to play it at it's best and new players.
The PS4 remaster is fine for most of us. Nothing wrong with that game and if anyone doesn't have it yet, now is a good time to get it unless you want this better version. I get the feeling that Sony could end up delisting this game from the store and perhaps stop printing them if they haven't done so already. So anyone wanting it later down the road will have to settle for the expensive newer version.
The TV series will surely give this remake a nice boost in sales too so that's money rolling in for Sony. Just a shame they couldn't give us current fans an upgrade fee. Too pricey for me to buy it for a third time but maybe someday when it's cheaper and possibly bundled with the standalone multiplayer. It was okay. I would have liked a big hype moment from it. Show something like God of War at the very end for example would have been that hype moment. Or even a Persona 4 Golden for PS4&5 even would have made it the greatest show
New IP and new Uncharted please! Drakes story may be done with Uncharted but it can also be rebooted to start again with him or make a spin off with Sully/Sam
Well earned indeed. I really enjoyed the game. Not as much as i love the first but this one was very well done too. Appreciated it more on the second play than I did for the first. On my first play there was plenty from the story I wasn't happy with.

Haven't played the last two games. Until then, the beta is enough for me to get the multiplayer part out of my system.
I really hope the full game turns out to be amazing. I don't trust anything IGN have to say about this one with that exclusivity thing going on. Will be keeping my eyes out on future videos that's not IGN and see how others opnions are.
