Re: Rumour: The Last of Us 3 Is In Development at Naughty Dog

Not excited for it at all. Don't want to make a decision just yet until we at least see it but after the way Part 2 went, I don't think I'll be rushing to pre-order or even buy day 1.

Part 1 is just my favourite and Part 2 was good but nothing amazing. Can't see Part 3 being any better and it's most certainly not going to be worth £70 unless it can top Part 1, which imo it won't without Joel

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 456

Trying to wrap up Pokemon Violet with the last few for the Pokedex and then I'm free to fully play something on PS5 again. Tried out the Forspoken demo and I'm in mixed minds about it. I could get used to it but it doesn't feel exciting like Final Fantasy or any other big Square Enix game. The controls could take some getting used to and I don't like the R2 and L2 buttons after using R1 and L1 for bringing up the menus. Just feels uncomfortable

Re: US Government's FTC Will Attempt to Block Microsoft's Activision Buyout

Beeeee-AHH-eer

Buying Activision isn't the answer for them. It may be good for their business to keep them going but it's surprising that fans are supporting it. Getting Activision or any publisher is like saying they can't make their own success so they give up trying. Why bother making games themselves when they can just buy another successful company to survive.

The best thing for Xbox is to focus on making great games of their own. Not to keep making more CoD and relying on that to keep the business running.

MS has been failing with their excluisve for years now. It's their own fault. They can fix that by stepping up and go make some great games of their own to pull in some new fans, grow their studios, buy some smaller ones and work on parterships to get games made.

Nintendo likes to buy studios that work on games that are very Nintendo. Sony buys studios that are pretty much family. MS should take notes from them. Buying up Activision and use their sucess to pass off as their own is just lazy and shows they don't know much about gaming. The only thing they are being good for is writing cheques

Re: Microsoft Admits Its Games Are Worse Than Sony's

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I think they should focus on their own studios first before they start thinking about adding Activision. If they can't manage their own studios well enough, how are they going to manage Activision or how will Activision help them get any better?

Most of Activision games are good, fun or average. Call of Duty may be the most popular shooter but MS have made successful shooters of their own and they are looking to add another to their library? You'd think they would work on their own studios first and make games for fans that you know.. don't care for shooters but want great single player games. None of Activision's studios will make MS any better. If they want to be better they should stop being lazy and focus on their own studios first. Sony and Nintendo work hard for their success. MS is throwing money at others success and then milk them.

Re: God of War, Sony Exclusives Dominate The Game Awards Nominees

Beeeee-AHH-eer

God of War for me. Then Horizon Forbidden West in second place and A Plague Tale in third.

For the movies, as much as I enjoyed Uncharted, I need to go for Sonic for exceeding my expectations

I'm a bit confused with the narrative section. Never played Elden Ring but last I heard it's a full open world freedom but didn't hear it having much of a story so why is it even there. Odd choice when there are other story games that could be more worthy. For that category God of War and A Plague Tale is the two main competitors

Re: Final Fantasy 16 Is Exclusive to PS5 for Six Months, Sony Confirms

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I really dislike timed exclusive stuff. It always hurts someone on another platform. Only reason why I see Sony doing this is because they want PlayStation to be the place we play Final Fantasy and perhaps it worries them if the game was to go onto Game Pass day 1 then PlayStation wouldn't be seen as that place. They also get the advantage of being seen as the only place to play.

Re: Poll: Do You Care About 60fps on PS5?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I always pick the 60fps option when it's available. I don't get put off with 30fps so it doesn't stop me from buying or enjoying a game. I do feel it's the generation that we need our gameplay to feel improved so developers should try to at least get 60fps in. Give us the option for better performance, resolution or balanced.

Re: No Plans for A Plague Tale: Requiem Sequel, But 'The Door Is Never Closed' Says Director

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I'm too early into the game to have a say about any further sequels but at the moment in my mind I'd like to see another. Even if it's to end as a trilogy. A part of me doesn't want to end from here as I love the first game and so far enjoying the sequel. The other part doesn't want it to be milked to death but someday in the future I'd really like to play the game again at their best.

The first game has a great story and it's something they should consider making into a series/movie to reach a bigger audience that don't play games

Re: Reaction: PS Stars Is Overdue Yet Appreciated, But There's Lots of Room to Improve

Beeeee-AHH-eer

So far I'm not really liking it. The collectibles are cool and I like the idea of those. But one thing that puts me off is that you see one you like, or want to collect them all, then it pushes us to boot up something we don't want. If I'm not earning coins for doing those too, then what's the point collecting them. They don't feel rewarding

The coins is the main problem for physial buyers as we don't get any. Therefore at the moment Nintendo is way ahead with a better system. Good for digital buyers, useless for physical.
