Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Is a PS5 Masterpiece, According to Super Smash Bros Maker

Beeeee-AHH-eer

Spider-Man 2 has been incredible so I played it for hours and hours but so far I'm not fully feeling Mario Wonder yet and I find I can only play it in small amounts. Had the same problem with Yoshi's Woolly World too.

Haven't gotten far into it yet but I think I'm past 2D mario games now. Too many of those games feel too samely, just diffeent character. My mind might change as I play more but I've moved on from the 2D games and I prefer Mario as 3D. Sonic is one of those games I can take as both, but favour as 3D. For 2D Mario, Super Mario World is unbeatable!

Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 Director: This Game Is Worth the Money

Beeeee-AHH-eer

Not every game needs to be a big open world filled with so much filler. I'd take a decent length game with great quality over that. Will always come back for another playtrhough but a game like AC Valhalla will never be played again. As much as I loved Skyrim, I couldn't bring myself to go back to that a second time after sinking so many hours in

Re: PS5, PS4 Players Will 'Remain Welcome' As Xbox Closes $69 Billion Activision Blizzard Buyout

Beeeee-AHH-eer

It's good it's finally over and hopefully this pushes Sony to be and do better to stay on top and bring us great new PS games. Xbox never creates anything that makes the platform stand out. Most of their games were created by third party until they threw money at it to acquire and milk them and now they have made themselves look even more third party than ever.

At least some fans are happy to get games they have already been getting handed out to them on a service. Really weird to see them preferring that over seeing MS making a name for themselves with unique Xbox games.

Anyway, no need to buy their games anymore. Take out a month of GP, binge a few games and it saves money for other games. That's my plan.

Re: PlayStation's Push for Live Service Games Hasn't Been Going Smoothly

Beeeee-AHH-eer

They should let their developers create what they want to create. Expand on them more to bring back Killzone and Resistance for some shooters. They made great games with those before. Bungie can offer guidance and tips to improve them and keep the games fresh but they shouldn’t be deciding anything. They can’t even manage their own game very well. Games should be friendly and welcoming to new players aswell as returning ones.

Naughty Dog did some great co-op with Uncharted. Multiplayer was fun too. I feel listening too much to Bungie can do more harm than good. May aswell just give them the whole project to mess it up themselves rather than taint the original developers name with a mixed game

Re: Tomb Raider Developer Crystal Dynamics Hit with Layoffs as Embracer Crumbling Continues

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I still can't believe Sony didn't acquire the studio and the IP. I always seen Lara as a PS icon when I played tomb Raider for the first time long ago. I said it before but they would have been perfect to have continued the Uncharted series too while trying to keep both games different. Having Some cross overs between both games would have been amazing. Sony invest well into their studios and this one could have grown to expand rather than seeing lay offs.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.0?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

Maybe wait until the DLC is on sale. Lost interest to make this game a need/want to play long ago now so I don't have that excitment anymore. I have a big collection of other games that have higher priority. The state this games launched in and the length of time it took to get where it is now made me move on

Re: Poll: Is 'Live Service' Becoming an Excuse to Release Unfinished Games?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

Sometimes but it also depends on the developer and the state of the game but I think subscriptions are a bigger problem for it and will get worse. Take MS for example, they need to keep a steady flow of exciting games rolling in otherwise why is anyone subbed for the year if they don’t feel they are getting the money worth and can just take it out a month at a time. So it’s release broken or skip on features and fix it later.

Re: Final Fantasy 14's Free PS5, PS4 Trial Expands to Include Stormblood

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I wouldn't be able to play the trial on PS because I tried the beta during the PS3 days and that permanently locked me out from all future trials.

There may be a way to get the trial again on the same account as long as you haven't bought the game. You have one chance of having your square enix ID removed from your PSN and create a new one. That should allow you to have the trial again but I can't be 100% sure. I'm unable to test it due to having purchased the starter edition a long time ago and don't remember doing so.

Sony refuses to remove a purchased game and because the starter edition is already tied to my PSN, a new trial isn't possible. So my solution was to play it on the Mac and then someday if i decide to pay, I will try transfering the process over to PSN with the new Square Enix ID. I suppose Xbox would be another way around it if you don't want to play on PC.

Re: Insomniac Games May Have a Third AAA PS5 Exclusive in Development

Beeeee-AHH-eer

Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to seeing it. Just hope it's not Sunset Overdrive as I didn't like that game. With all the projects Insomniac are taking up, I really hope they don't leave Ratchet And Clank behind. Just something I worry about from time to time since a lot of Sonys great IPs get abandoned for newer things.

Re: If Sony Does Ever Make a PS Vita 2, It'll Probably Need Replaceable Batteries

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I like chargeable batteries in our controllers. I don't like that MS puts in normal batteries in the box so I favour Sonys way of providing charagable batteries as MS way seems like they cheapened out to get people to buy the chargeable battery separately. But they had the right idea allowing people to remove it and swap it with a fresh one.

Maybe one day the Vita and controllers battery will swell up and we would need to either get rid of the controller or open it up to remove them. I'd rather just swap my battery out with a fresh new one with better life. But Sony should provide the chargeable battery in the box.

Re: The Last of Us Composer Gustavo Santaolalla May Have Teased a New Version of Part 2

Beeeee-AHH-eer

Part 1 was hard to resist getting (wasn't day 1 for me but when it reached my biting point) because I loved that first game more.

But Part 2, that's an easy pass. Can play the PS+ version someday. Not even worth a £10 upgrade imo. Now if they plan to change the story, especially for Joel then I'll take more of an interest.

I've had enough of these remasters / upgraded versions. They are okay for games from the PS3 and older days but certainly not okay from the PS4. Next thing we know we could be getting a another remaster for those same games for PS6 at this rate

Re: Sony Is Increasing R&D Costs to Fuel Live Service Games, Report Claims

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I hope Killzone and or Resistance is one of those. Those are the kind of games that could be played for a long time and still have a great single player experience

May not be a popular choice but I think Ratchet and Clank could do something with Rift Apart after the story has been completed. Open portals to enter other Sony games world or bring them in for fun event stories and missions.

Re: Reaction: What Happens to PlayStation if Microsoft Buys Activision Blizzard?

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I think Sony needs to step up their game and make big acquisitions of their own but at the same time take the opportunity to strengthen themselves and stop relying so much on third party as solutions. They should get back to making their own big shooters again to complete.

Unlike Xbox, Sony can create great new games so this should give them a much needed push to expand their library with new games while Xbox continues to milk others success.

Re: SEGA Survey Suggests Persona 3 Reload to Retail for $69.99

Beeeee-AHH-eer

I’ll be buying for PS5 but I won’t be paying that price and it tempts me to wait for the full version in the future or get it on sale. No interest in taking GamePass out for it or even playing this on Xbox. I get that the service is good value for Xbox but to me that’s only for people that play the platform enough which I don’t do so I feel like it’s just another subscription eating at my wallet and not getting its worth. Last time I had it for 3 years cheap and it was mainly just used for Bing points

Re: Microsoft's Potential Game Plan in 2020: 'Spend Sony Out of Business'

Beeeee-AHH-eer

People like to say Sony have too much power in gaming but MS has too much power in everything and using that power to bully their way to the top.

It’s sad to see Xbox going from playing fair to cheating their way to the top with money. What Song does is what MS and Nintendo have always done themselves too and continue to do. The only difference is MS tripped themselves during Xbox One launch and now act like they are entitled to buying their way to the front again. They don’t market their product and don’t even try to do better. Just milk their already success franchises that was invented by others before being bought.

I think the world needs to wake up and remove those heart shaped glasses to see MS for what they are. We rely too much on them like countries relying on Russian oil. Threatened UK security over the blockage of this deal. Even if they get their way, they only gain even more power and who’s going to stop them if they don’t act now.

Re: Sony 'Can't Risk' Sharing PS6 Details with a Microsoft-Owned Activision

Beeeee-AHH-eer

And they are right not to share anything. Doing so would only give MS ideas to counter it and make something better than they planned themselves before they reveal their next console. That could hurt Sony more.

For Bungie, I'd say MS wouldn't have much to worry about. Bungie doesn't exactly pump games out every year while Activision does.

Xbox Series X is basically just a more powerful Xbox One. Everything is the same apart from new features and the controller just has some improvement on an Xbox One controller. No different to phone upgrades and newer phones get features older ones can't get on the same version OS. Sony however would be giving away all the things they do new. Had it been the PS5, MS would be taking notes of the Dualsense features and announcing their own before they reveal their console.

Whatever Xbox makes next, I'm betting they will just keep making another Xbox One-alike console that continues on with more muscle to it. Bungie's games and MLB just need a little update for the newer consoles that will run the same game after the new consoles launch. It's not like MS bothers trying to create a new experience. Unlike the Series, PS5 games are seperate to the PS4 ones so we get two copies with two trophy lists.
