I just don't believe that Starfield was going to have a exclusive deal.
Starfield was being developed by the main studio. Why would they stop it going on pc and xbox, stopping millions of sells worldwide.
The only evidence Phil has got is deathloop and ghost wire Tokyo. But reality is those games weren't from Bethesda main studio they were small budget games and experimental games with new mechanics.
Its crazy to think they are trying to blind side the judges by using this.
Starfield was always going to be a multiplatform game.
Plus they didn't just by Bethesda they went and bought the entire parent company with many other businesses underneath it.
Like someone else commented and we have actual evidence of this.
But Xbox is the Boxer who never wanted to train and put the work in and then got behind so turned to steroids to chest their way to the top.
People also push aside the fact Microsoft paid for exclusive rights to the second tomb raider reboot game for entire year.
This would be fine but the fact is the first game was a multiplatform game which they then denied gamers access to the sequel for a year and the fact just like Bethesda.
These games have been always multiplatform.
They dont seem to buying studios to make new and incentive games but rather buy up all pre existing franchises and take them away from many gamers just to spite competition.
I'd like someone to show me when Playststion has ever taken a studio which hasn't been associated with them for a long period.
Honestly I just hope Microsoft do not get the Activision deal done.
All that company and phil have done is lied and are buying up the biggest publishers.
They are taking games away from gamers and yet literally fighting a battle explaining that this will help give more gamers opportunities.
Yet they fail to see that we aren't all dumb buying up the most successful third party publishers who basically put their games on everything anyway.
The British and American governments are right to block the deal.
The rest dont care because money talks. Esp Europe, they made the European Union to literally squeeze money out of all their members for their own greed.
@danzoEX Total for all expansion packs: $519.97 USD/£454.87 GBP plus this new expansion.
They did make the sims 4 free but I mean the base game is quite shocking in how bare bones it is. And they literally charge full PC game price for the dlc's. It really is a scam. Considering how old the game is now.
I'm waiting for Life By You, a game built with modding in mind and people can say what they want about, there other developers dlc pricing bur its very fair pricing in my eyes compared to the sims 4.
@tameshiyaku off topic, but I wonder whats happened to that Borderlands Movie, seems like it was years ago when they was filming that film and heard nothing since.
Was really looking forward to this park builder. But on your recommendation I will wait a few months and see if it all gets ironed out. Hopefully by Xmas it will be alot better off and at a cheaper price
Aren't you forgetting that they rolled a trial run of A video ps plus. Where all Sony titles were apart of for ps plus members. Was it in Poland or something I wonder if that was succesful and when they will roll that
All I want is GTA 6 to be as open and build upon the freedom that red dead 2 gave us.
You could literally play red dead 2 for a 100hours and not even touch the main quest.
I hope and pray that the world is lived in and every building and every mall, shop, bank, office, house are all open
I want gta to go back to being about breaking the law m, not having to glitch the game to just Rob a store, or have to do a main mission just to rob a bank. And for the love of g** please dont give me mini games what arent related to criminal activity. Or if you do I want as many as the legal mini games. O and let me buy up property in the single player. I love the old style gts of rags to riches story That is all
Really enjoyed the conference, it was alot better paced than playststions by a huge margin.
But this is the reality and the article says it.
No matter what Playstation shows or doesn't show, we know the studios exist. We know they all deliver, we know the games are being worked on.
Xbox showcase really didn't give much in the way of the here and now, apart from starfield and its probably just me but the game just seems like a last gen game graphically with the stiff npcs, it really didn't get me to go oooooo I need this game.
But does it really matter what these showcases show.
Because come end of the year beginning of next Playststion could and should juust come out with a presentation and go And here is the road map.
Every first party game being worked on in one showcase and this would just totally blow xbox conference out the water anyway, nothing apart from forza and starfield are this year everything else was either a vague 2024 or no date.
I'm pretty sure its not them adding comments to this page to make it more bloated on the comments.
Its probably more to do with not bloating the website with extra pages so they use the same page for release dates and this bringing the comments back over.
Your are all not the demographic for these types of games and many always forget this.
Kids still want to play games and its actually becoming really hard to find games with local co op and easy enough to understand.
My kids loved the other one, as they could play it together.
Its just like how so many mock Knack, but the actually demographic for that games were for kids or people coming over from mobile games.
Simple controls with a small amount of depth.
My 8 year old has completed knack 1 and 2 at least 10 times and couldn't believe you can play the second game in local co op and now he plays it with his brother.
We are missing these types of games for the younger generation. It all seems if it ain't mature or have deep learning controls then its not worth making.
@Kidfried no problem, if by any chance I change my mind by the time I finish it. I'll let you know.
O and also there is quite a funny running joke throughout it aswel, everytime it happens it makes me laugh, if you ever play it, you'll know what I mean haha
@Kidfried well I bought it and played it last night and a bit today. Seems like the game is pretty short, maybe a decent night of gaming you'd finish it. But I'm having a blast with it. I didn't find the controls finicky at all,
Its just a fascinating game and concept, Pros from what I've played The story and how its played is really good, callers calling in and you are having to try navigate them through the night of hell. Some are obvious others are not as obvious.
You have to search the building for clues to what the caller needs, I won't give anything away but a caller is stuck and no where to go, but they give you information, it just so happens there is a radio show on this topic so you have to search their desk to figure it out and then rely this information to the caller, which can result in them staying alive or getting killed.
Some of the calls are quite easy Some have been quick and you miss it sort of a QTE style tell them what to do situations and others have had me piece together different evidence to work out where they would be tonight and save them (which I got wrong hahaha) but the answers are there if you study it.
Overall for 17.99 (discounted if you have ps plus) Its not a bad buy if your into a murder mystery style game with not much action apart from intense phone calls.
Its one of those games I'd love for them to do a sequel and expand on everything and give me more options and ways to play.
More music aswel, you only have a bare bones vinyl selection, you can find some dotted around the building but not loads.
I'd love the actual Dj'ing aspect to be more than a gimmick aswel, it doesn't truly matter if you put a record on or press a button to promote the radio station.
More dialogue would be great.
Definitely a genre which I'd like to see explored more.
@tameshiyaku @Kidfried sort of agree with you both. But looking at the review scoring for positive and negative other games have scored higher for less.
Had my eye on this since I saw it, and knowing the story is intriguing and different. I'm gonna give it ago
@CP2 That is exactly what I'm talking about, I can't fault Playstation who always deliver on single player games, whenever they come, im not going to doubt them.
Its just so frustrating that they titled their big presentation a showcase and basically showed nothing but Spoderman 2, can't class Fairgames or Concord because we got nothing but CGI trailers. It was just poor.
It does give Xbox the upper hand in their Showcase in a few weeks, which I'm looking forward to seeing if they will deliver on the promise of first party original games, which Phil Spencer has been saying since he took the job.
But again we couldn't come up with a list with as many triple A games which are always top notch.
Even Halo was a let down, Gears hasn't been great, Fable no where to be seen, now redfall, nothing to be said and then they have Starfield coming and in my opinion will be a buggy mess as normal for those games and the graphics look more like mid gen PS4 to me, nothing of that game screams next gen.
There is an actual indie game on pc right now which is basically Starfield but better and was developed by 1 single guy and its a little rough around the edges but its actually a solid game.
https://youtu.be/MdlOG5XjKKY Just take a look at this game and starfield can't even launch your ship without a cut scene. And everyone is hyped for it and yet 1 guy has basically made a better game, imagine if this guy had a team behind him to smooth it out. Its ridiculous
But in reality yes they are remakes, but the remakes are from games what came out within the last year of the PS4.
Spiderman, Ghost Of Tushisma and the likes and we was always going to get the cross gen games at the beginning. So in that way of thinking, I expect the next big wave of games are going to come in 2024 and 2025 from all the big first party studios.
I'm satisfied with buying a PS5, load times alone is worth it. Trying to go back to PS4 and waiting for games to load and trying to download games.
But I think the point im trying to get at is we all know Playstation always delivers on its first party single player games and reality is we all know deep down they are coming, its frustrating having to wait for information but we have the studios.
I'm still waiting for Xbox to show me their first party original games to have a reason to buy an Xbox series X and even now after 3 years, there is nothing. I dont have the same confidence I do with Playstation, as their first party line up isn't consistent, apart from Forza.
I think us playststion fans have alot to be happy for and look forward to.
@MrGawain isn't this the problem. People saying lack of games. Xbox has a lack of games, not being a fanboy but over there is the pinnacle of what no games looks like.
Playstation on the other hand, within 3 years of PS5 being out we have had; Demon Souls Sack Boy BIG Adventure Spiderman/Miles PS5 God Of War Ragnarok Horizon Forbidden West The Last Of Us Part 1 FF 7 PS5 FF 16 incoming Spiderman 2 incoming
I know I'm probably missing a few more exclusives
But thats a hell of a lot of exclusives for just 3 years and then add in some great third party games, we are literally flooded with games each and every month.
We have all just become very impatient and have short term memory, people expect first party games to come out every konth it seems otherwise we have no games
Its funny reading comments, like I'm done with Playstation, or Playstation is doomed or Playstation has no games or im selling my playstation for an xbox. Because those comments aren't true at all.
The frustrating part of all of this is this wasn't advertised as a Extended State Of Play (which it should of been, nothing in that showing was worthy of being under the title showcase apart from 1 or 2 things. We've had bigger State Of Play outings before.
This was Titled as a Showcase the biggest presentation Playstation puts out and we didn't get anything, that we didn't already know about or nearly anything from actual playstation studios.p
The facts still remains we still don't really know what coming after Spiderman.
But we do know for a fact Bend has a game in the works Santa Monica has a game in the works Suckerpunch has a game in works Bluepoint may have 2 games in the works HouseMarque has a game in the works Naughty Dog has 2 games in the works Team Asobi has a game or 2 in the works
So this whole talk of live service games taking over, is a little ridiculous, we still get the great single play games we know and love alongside this new venture by Sony.
Its just unfortunate that Sony's marketing team and Jim Ryan just dont have a clue how to market or show off new things in an exciting way.
Sony and Playstation think its Jim Ryan steering the ship to all this success what they dont realise is that its just Playstation as a brand from the beginning of the launch of ps4 which is making this whole success of playstation right now.
Kept seeing loads about red dead redemption 2 on YouTube for some reason, so I booted it up last week and I'm hooked again. Everyone talks about the crazy success of GTA5 and how Elden Ring is the perfect game.
I'm going to disagree with both those statements. Red Dead 2 is probably the most perfect game there is. For what was happening within the a wild West, this game just captures everything. Im still finding things to do in the game, talking or robbing every single NPC in the game, most buildings are open. Always something happening, so many random and different encounter around the world, the story is top notch aswel. This should be the game every open world aims to be or approve upon it in my eyes.
Side note I'm going to start Humanity later. I enjoyed the demo.
I'm still trying to get over what I saw. I still can't believe they graced us with the title showcase and not a state of play. Because that's all it was a third party showcase, with a very very light sprinkle from actual playstation.
One thing though. You say uninspiring MGS Snake Eater trailer. But I've just watched a YouTube video and the whole trailer was riddled with references to snake eater. Its actually blown my mind how much was in that trailer.
If anyone gets a chance have a look at this from ign.....
And this is why Sony are so frustrating we sit there for another hour watching cgi after cgi trailer with no #%$$%##$% context, to then have to wait for yep you guessed it a playststion blog entry to tell us what it is. What happened to shows giving us the info.
@theMEGAniggle maybe its because I am old and have kids, I like my games on a huge tv at the highest quality with my 3d headset once kids are in bed, I just can't understand a reason to play remote play within the same house but I guess a teenager where the parents have the console in the living room and don't have access.
But most kids now have consoles in their room playing fortnite and other online games.
@theMEGAniggle o I know xbox are by far worse. They've not had any top first party games since the 360, even there big hitters have been ok to good apart from forza. Im not a huge fan if bhg ridden games like Bethesda put out.
Totally forgot Sony announced a handheld to go with the ps5. They've literally just showed that they have released the back bone for andriod.
So now we have both apple and andriod devices that can use the back bone paired with someone's large oled top market screens, to stream games from there PS5 and PlayStation thinks its best to throw there own one into it. It just seems pointless.
@PsBoxSwitchOwner normally id agree with you but i think the fans are right on this one.
This wasn't slated as a state of play, this wasn't stated as a calm your expectations down as this and that is going to be shown.
This was advertised as a Showcase, a presentation we havent seen for over 2 or 3 years, they even advertised it as the future of ps5 with big reveals and internal studios showcase.
What we got was Haven, the team in which said they were reinventing multiplayer games.... but what we got was a CGI trailer what seems to be a payday rip off co op shooter. Now could it reinvent like they say? Yes. Did the trailer do anything for fans to understand exactly why we should care about or whats so great that Playstation wanted them as a first party? No Did it look like a pay day rip off? Yes
Now FireWalk Studios...... Hmmmmm a short cgi trailer what didn't even give any reason to care or know what the... its about Both games multiplayer focused we know that.
Then we get Insomniac the one team who's constantly churning out great titles. The first showing of the game was a nice short cgi trailer showing exactly what we are getting from the next spiderman.
And we got the poor showing of PSVR2, all basically first person shooters which all looked samey and non of which was from playstation themselves.
And thats it from first party at a playstation showcase. So we got a playstation showcase without playstation actually being there.
I know full well that the games are coming, of course they are but why have a showcase without any actual show stoppers. We literally got shown what we already knew.
@theMEGAniggle I'm not repeating what you said, that's my exact view on all this. I'm not crying, I'm jumping ship. You mentioned all the reasons why I have a PS5 and I'm still waiting for reasons to buy an xbox (hopefully there showcase shows me a reason to) But to put a showcase out and show just 3 things 2 of which were cgi trailers, is unacceptable and not worth putting the heading showcase.
@UltimateOtaku91 I totally agree that's abit extreme, and let's forget the showcase and look at the facts, there will be games, 90% of first party studios are still in the dark, we all know those games are going to come, if they are at the showcase or not. But then on the other hand to put out a showcase, you would think they themselves had alot to show. But forgive me if I am wrong but we only saw 3 first party studios, 2 showed very short cgi trailer and they are the new blood, I expected more to prove to us they are at the calibre of first party and then we got Spiderman.
I'm hyped for spiderman and I know its going to be great but it did look like just more of the same.
Non of this was worthy of a showcase, in my eyes not when we've had 3 years of state of play.
Its just disappointing we still don't know what the next 3 years hold for first party. We know they are coming we just don't know what and we should.
I think your missing the point a little, yes some comments are taking it to the next level.
But this was a Playstation Showcase not a State of Play.
After Phase one has been completed and we are moving forward into the next phase of games from first party studios. I would expect it to be a first party mega show.
A round up of what there internals have been up to, doesnt have to be dates or full gameplay but a logo, a cgi trailer, a comment from developer.
Non of the big hitters or any actually turned up we didn't even know about. The ones who did, 2 new first party devs unproven to us with nothing but cgi trailers, showing nothing of what the game is about, apart from 1 and then we got Spoerman 2, which we already know about.
I dont think anyone who comments saying they are disappointed are wrong.
When a showcase is shown to have 90% third party games, 9% exclusive games and 1% is actually Sony internal studio games.
You can't deny that 99% of these games couldn't of just been part of a stae of play.
@theMEGAniggle I sort of agree and disagree It was mmmmmm Meh!?!?!?!
I mean the games shown were pretty good, I enjoyed the look of quite alot and it was game after game after game. But.... and its a huge but!!!
This was a Sony Showcase, not a state of play.
They have so many first party Studios, still in the dark of what they are working on and all we got from them was the 2 new studios, which had 0 gameplay.
Havens game seems to be a co op heist shooter, but still just CGI and then was it Concord??
What was the actual point of that trailer??? I'm still sat here thinking is it just dlc for flight simulator being back the concord, that trailer did nothing.
And the finale game was Spiderman 2? A game we already know ia coming pretty soon.
A showcase for playststion should be full to the brim with first party developers. Where was astro? Where was SuckPunch? Where was Bend? Cory Barlogs new game? And where was Nauggty Dog, the godfather of playstation.
Cgi snippets? Gameplay? A short message from the developer to tell us? A Title screen for goodness sake.
PsVR games, basically just firdt person shooters no variety.
@Ravix I just found GTA5 an enjoyable time with the story but I never felt any reason to go off and see the world because it really had nothing in it. Any YouTube videos you find on the game about secrets are just symbols or pictures of things.
But Red dead 2, I can literally play my own story for hours on end without even touching the main quest.
I've just done 2 treasures maps to get extra cash and on the way, I stumbled across a guy who wanted a race, a woman who needed a lift home as her horse had died and some blind guy just standing around.
I know of the crazy secrets within the world, like the crazy couple who are brother and sister and rob people by spiking there drinks. Like this stuff is incredible to think you could play the whole game and never come across any of this. Thats just 1 of 100s of things going on.
Plus you can speak to every NPC in the game, Rob stores and trains properly, I remember GTA 5 you had to trick the game to Rob a store.
GTA 6 better learn and expand on what red dead 2 has done to be perfection in my eyes not just better than GTA 5.
I'm a little worried that the originals have left the company.
@Ravix I'm in agreement. GTA5 is still over hyped the actual main game isn't great. I mean its ment to be grand theft auto. Not min golf and tennis simulator not to mention the strange triathlon mini game but completely forgot about actual illegal side activities.
It was a very eye candy game in the sense of everything looked pretty but not kuch could be done in the game.
But on that note red dead 2 is absolute perfection, im playing through it again now on my PS5
Honestly anything could happen this time around. So many studios have been in the dark for so long, any one of them could happen.
But im confident they will announce a new ps5 model.
Not the PS5 Pro but the new revision SKU with the detachable disc drive, which will be the one and only PS5 being made going into the future. It just makes sense to streamline the production of the PS5. Just like how the Fat PS3 slowly went away, after they revisioned it. I mean an hour is a long time to fill. Everything and the kitchen sink can fit into an hour worth of content. So hyped.
@LiamCroft but you so entailed it, with the headline and wording, we ain't stupid hahahaha. Considering no other article says anything about a Thursday showcase. You crafted one you hahaha
@get2sammyb I'm now actually loving the fact that they chose the name just because they liked saying Clive hahahaha i just now think of them shouting Clive around the office. Not knowing Clive from Insurance. Haahhaha brilliant.
My expectations are sky high. For 2plus years they haven't felt they had enough for a showcase and instead got a mixed bag of state of plays, and dodgey blog post announcements for which many you'd expect in a showcase, or at the very least a state of play.
So for them to say its a showcase, I have to believe that they have alot of surprises and alot of games to show off for an hour showing. So many first party studios are at a time they should all have something to show. Totally hyped and I think the hype is real. I'm confident.
I think people forget that the plan was always to finish the cross gen aspect of the PS5 first party games for the first flow of first party. Ragnarok was delayed and thats the only reason it lasted so long, its sort of the reason why horizon dlc was current gen only. At some point we have to leave ps4 behind, just like every other console before it.
I was never indoubt that the next lot of games were only ever going to be PS5. Thats what Sony said at the beginning.
Looking forward to what insomniac can do. Esp when they said rift apart was only the tip of the iceberg with the instant shift through worlds, cannot wait.
@IslandLogic its why I've given up playing NBA 2K games, the only time I buy it. Is at launch to show off the graphics and then realise, its more of a grind than a Japanese rpg, just to upgrade your player, without paying to the point of you really do have to pay to have anything in those games.
I'd go as far to say that they are now the worst game company, even over shadowing how bad EA used to be
Sony knew this was going to be a hard sell. I think we are still forgetting that the living crisis is a real reality for most out there. This us my problem to. Normally I am day one new tech but I just couldn't justify the price tag and lack of genuine games.
I've got 97 to my name and have bills coming out left and right. 97 to pay 700 wotht of bills. The struggle is real right now. Plus trying to feed kids on top.of this and a roof over there heads. I cant be the only one.
I'm in agreement with everyone. Putting g a 7/10 is disgusting. It should be marked at 3 or below. I dont care how could the game plays, if im being pushed to buy the best stuff in the game and paying full retail price for the game, its just a sick joke for kids across the world and parents.
I won't be buying this for my kids, lego is a kids toy, not a way to make money on top of a full priced retail game.
Then again this is 2K all there games are this way now, this is on Lego for partnering with the King of micro transactions. I really hope this game doesn't make it.
Literally waiting for everything to be fixed and on sale now for this game.
I just can't justify in this day and email buying a game full price in the state it was released. Its just unacceptable. We have 2 amazingly spec's consoles and they still can't get it right. At least in the ps1 and ps2 era, games had to be stable and playable on release. Its now become fully fledged 70 priced games are now early access games.
Such a unacceptable view to just get the game out.

Re: Build Your Dream Theme Park in RollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures Deluxe on PS5, PS4
I really think people are getting confused.
This isn't a remasternof the classic its a port of a port of a mobile game.
If anyone is after a classic, parkitect is the only game which is basically a modernised version of RTC 1 and 2. Otherwise its planet cosster
Re: Metal Gear Solid 4, 5, Peace Walker Reportedly in Master Collection Vol. 2
I'm happy for people but not that interested im more interested in the actual remakes than the collections.
Unless the collections have been enhanced and loads times gone. I dont think I'll bother.

Does this give anyone confidence that they can pull off the silent hill remake.
I mean they have got all the games put them together and put alot of love into them.
They seem to nail the atmosphere and sounds.
Maybe I feel a little easier now on their silent hill project

Re: Sorry, But Games Are Probably Going to Take Longer Than Ever to Make on PS5
Hmmmm go tell that to insomniac the company who is single handedly keeping playstation first games going.
Spiderman
Miles morales
Rachet and clank rift apart
Spiderman 2
Wolverine
Probably another ratchet and clank or a totally knew game.
I really don't think ghost 2 is 2025.
I think late 2023 or 2024.
Naughty Dog have just blown it.
I expect games to take 4 years to make thats the standard I think.
But then again every single game seems to want to be open world now. Time for a nice linear top grade game

Because come end of the year beginning of next Playststion could and should juust come out with a presentation and go

Re: New PS5, PS4 Games This Week (12th June to 18th June)
@Hawklord @TheMightyImp2
I'm pretty sure its not them adding comments to this page to make it more bloated on the comments.
Its probably more to do with not bloating the website with extra pages so they use the same page for release dates and this bringing the comments back over.
Re: Quantic Dream Publishing Submerged Adventure Game Under the Waves in August
Looks really good and different.
I'm definitely going to pick this one up. Especially if quantic dreams saw something in it.
I'm looking forward to what exactly quantic dreams has got cooking though. I know its stay wars based but nothing else.
Re: EA Sports Accused of Exploiting College Football Stars Over Low Pay for New PS5 Game
I'm not entirely sure what they mean by low pay?
They didn't get anything before hand so how can someone get low pay. Esp for college football.
They should just be greatful a game is being made around college football and they are getting a bit of money for it.
Re: When Is Summer Game Fest Live?
Looking forward to it. 40 publishers and whats known is very little.
Ill be shocked if Sony actually shows anything we didn't know about first party wise.
Otherwise it does make Sonys own showcase, abit of a joke.
Re: There's a New JUMANJI Game Coming to PS5, PS4 This November
@Bingbongboyo
Not a chance paying that much for it either.
These games should be 30.
But knack all my kids say is when is the 3rd game coming hahaha
Its a shame the game market aims more at mature games and complex games and not a mixture of simple games aswel.
I did enjoy playing ninja turtles shredders revenge with my kids
Re: There's a New JUMANJI Game Coming to PS5, PS4 This November
Re: Mini Review: Killer Frequency (PS5) - An Intriguing Call-in Murder Mystery
@Kidfried no problem, if by any chance I change my mind by the time I finish it. I'll let you know.
O and also there is quite a funny running joke throughout it aswel, everytime it happens it makes me laugh, if you ever play it, you'll know what I mean haha
Re: Mini Review: Killer Frequency (PS5) - An Intriguing Call-in Murder Mystery
@Kidfried well I bought it and played it last night and a bit today.
Seems like the game is pretty short, maybe a decent night of gaming you'd finish it. But I'm having a blast with it. I didn't find the controls finicky at all,
Its just a fascinating game and concept,
Pros from what I've played
The story and how its played is really good, callers calling in and you are having to try navigate them through the night of hell.
Some of the calls are quite easy
Some have been quick and you miss it sort of a QTE style tell them what to do situations and others have had me piece together different evidence to work out where they would be tonight and save them (which I got wrong hahaha) but the answers are there if you study it.
Overall for 17.99 (discounted if you have ps plus)
Its not a bad buy if your into a murder mystery style game with not much action apart from intense phone calls.
I hope that helped
Re: Want More Resident Evil Remakes? Tell Capcom Which Ones in Official Survey
@Martijn87 @get2sammyb
Considering Code Veronica was actually ment to be the sequel to RE it really needs to be remade, alot kore than RE 3 ever did.
RE 3 was never ment to be a main entry, its just Sony pushed them to make a quicker game, to rise on the success of 2.
I'd like the original and Code Veronica remade and then 100% want Dino Crisis remade, now that would be awesome
Re: Mini Review: Killer Frequency (PS5) - An Intriguing Call-in Murder Mystery
@tameshiyaku @Kidfried sort of agree with you both.
But looking at the review scoring for positive and negative other games have scored higher for less.
Had my eye on this since I saw it, and knowing the story is intriguing and different. I'm gonna give it ago
Re: Summer Game Fest Showcase Brings Us Two Hours of Announcements and Updates
British website and you don't put our time in the article now I have to go work it out. Cheers hahahaha
Re: Sony Will Have More PS5 Presentations This Year, Sources Say
There is an actual indie game on pc right now which is basically Starfield but better and was developed by 1 single guy and its a little rough around the edges but its actually a solid game.
https://youtu.be/MdlOG5XjKKY
Just take a look at this game and starfield can't even launch your ship without a cut scene.
And everyone is hyped for it and yet 1 guy has basically made a better game, imagine if this guy had a team behind him to smooth it out. Its ridiculous
Re: Sony Will Have More PS5 Presentations This Year, Sources Say
@MrGawain I dont disagree with you.
Re: Sony Will Have More PS5 Presentations This Year, Sources Say
@MrGawain isn't this the problem. People saying lack of games. Xbox has a lack of games, not being a fanboy but over there is the pinnacle of what no games looks like.
Playstation on the other hand, within 3 years of PS5 being out we have had;
Demon Souls
Sack Boy BIG Adventure
Spiderman/Miles PS5
God Of War Ragnarok
Horizon Forbidden West
The Last Of Us Part 1
FF 7 PS5
FF 16 incoming
Spiderman 2 incoming
I know I'm probably missing a few more exclusives
But thats a hell of a lot of exclusives for just 3 years and then add in some great third party games, we are literally flooded with games each and every month.
We have all just become very impatient and have short term memory, people expect first party games to come out every konth it seems otherwise we have no games
Re: Sony Will Have More PS5 Presentations This Year, Sources Say
But we do know for a fact
Bend has a game in the works
Santa Monica has a game in the works
Suckerpunch has a game in works
Bluepoint may have 2 games in the works
HouseMarque has a game in the works
Naughty Dog has 2 games in the works
Team Asobi has a game or 2 in the works
So this whole talk of live service games taking over, is a little ridiculous, we still get the great single play games we know and love alongside this new venture by Sony.
Its just unfortunate that Sony's marketing team and Jim Ryan just dont have a clue how to market or show off new things in an exciting way.
Sony and Playstation think its Jim Ryan steering the ship to all this success what they dont realise is that its just Playstation as a brand from the beginning of the launch of ps4 which is making this whole success of playstation right now.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 478
Re: Feature: The PlayStation Showcase Prediction Quiz Results Are In
I'm still trying to get over what I saw.

Re: Here's Exactly What Newly Revealed PS5, PC Game Concord Is
And this is why Sony are so frustrating we sit there for another hour watching cgi after cgi trailer with no #%$$%##$% context, to then have to wait for yep you guessed it a playststion blog entry to tell us what it is. What happened to shows giving us the info.
Its boring now
Re: Poll: Was This Sony's Best PlayStation Showcase Yet?
@theMEGAniggle maybe its because I am old and have kids, I like my games on a huge tv at the highest quality with my 3d headset once kids are in bed, I just can't understand a reason to play remote play within the same house but I guess a teenager where the parents have the console in the living room and don't have access.
But most kids now have consoles in their room playing fortnite and other online games.
Re: Poll: Was This Sony's Best PlayStation Showcase Yet?
@theMEGAniggle o I know xbox are by far worse. They've not had any top first party games since the 360, even there big hitters have been ok to good apart from forza. Im not a huge fan if bhg ridden games like Bethesda put out.
Totally forgot Sony announced a handheld to go with the ps5. They've literally just showed that they have released the back bone for andriod.
So now we have both apple and andriod devices that can use the back bone paired with someone's large oled top market screens, to stream games from there PS5 and PlayStation thinks its best to throw there own one into it. It just seems pointless.
Re: Reaction: Sony Flubs First Proper PS5 Presentation in Over 18 Months
@PsBoxSwitchOwner normally id agree with you but i think the fans are right on this one.
This wasn't slated as a state of play, this wasn't stated as a calm your expectations down as this and that is going to be shown.
This was advertised as a Showcase, a presentation we havent seen for over 2 or 3 years, they even advertised it as the future of ps5 with big reveals and internal studios showcase.
What we got was
Haven, the team in which said they were reinventing multiplayer games.... but what we got was a CGI trailer what seems to be a payday rip off co op shooter.
Now could it reinvent like they say? Yes.
Did the trailer do anything for fans to understand exactly why we should care about or whats so great that Playstation wanted them as a first party? No
Did it look like a pay day rip off? Yes
Now FireWalk Studios......
Hmmmmm a short cgi trailer what didn't even give any reason to care or know what the... its about
Both games multiplayer focused we know that.
Fans have a right to be annoyed about it.
Re: Poll: Was This Sony's Best PlayStation Showcase Yet?
@theMEGAniggle I'm not repeating what you said, that's my exact view on all this. I'm not crying, I'm jumping ship. You mentioned all the reasons why I have a PS5 and I'm still waiting for reasons to buy an xbox (hopefully there showcase shows me a reason to)
But to put a showcase out and show just 3 things 2 of which were cgi trailers, is unacceptable and not worth putting the heading showcase.
Re: Poll: Was This Sony's Best PlayStation Showcase Yet?
Re: Poll: Was This Sony's Best PlayStation Showcase Yet?
@theMEGAniggle 100% agree this was a state of play with the added dramatics of the intermissions and dramatised music.
We all know spiderman will be good if not great. From a showcase I want surprises I want one last thing.
They went years without a showcase, what would another one do so we could see them all together hit after hit after hit first party.
What they showed was great but not a showcase great
Re: Poll: Was This Sony's Best PlayStation Showcase Yet?
@UltimateOtaku91
Re: Poll: Was This Sony's Best PlayStation Showcase Yet?
@theMEGAniggle
I sort of agree and disagree
It was mmmmmm Meh!?!?!?!
All in all a great show, but a meh showcase.
Thats my take.
A top quality dhoe
Re: GTA 6 Team 'Seeking Perfection' with Long-Awaited PS5 Sequel
Re: GTA 6 Team 'Seeking Perfection' with Long-Awaited PS5 Sequel
@Ravix I'm in agreement. GTA5 is still over hyped the actual main game isn't great. I mean its ment to be grand theft auto. Not min golf and tennis simulator not to mention the strange triathlon mini game but completely forgot about actual illegal side activities.
It was a very eye candy game in the sense of everything looked pretty but not kuch could be done in the game.
But on that note red dead 2 is absolute perfection, im playing through it again now on my PS5
Re: Feature: Take Part in the PlayStation Showcase Predictions Quiz
Honestly anything could happen this time around. So many studios have been in the dark for so long, any one of them could happen.
But im confident they will announce a new ps5 model.
Not the PS5 Pro but the new revision SKU with the detachable disc drive, which will be the one and only PS5 being made going into the future. It just makes sense to streamline the production of the PS5.
Just like how the Fat PS3 slowly went away, after they revisioned it.
I mean an hour is a long time to fill. Everything and the kitchen sink can fit into an hour worth of content.
So hyped.
Re: New Alone in the Dark PS5 Details to Be Shared in Thursday's Showcase
@LiamCroft but you so entailed it, with the headline and wording, we ain't stupid hahahaha. Considering no other article says anything about a Thursday showcase. You crafted one you hahaha
Re: Interview: Final Fantasy 16's Devs on Clive's Name, God of War's Leaves, and Fulfilling Fans
@get2sammyb I'm now actually loving the fact that they chose the name just because they liked saying Clive hahahaha i just now think of them shouting Clive around the office. Not knowing Clive from Insurance. Haahhaha brilliant.
Re: Poll: How Hyped Are You for the PlayStation Showcase?
My expectations are sky high. For 2plus years they haven't felt they had enough for a showcase and instead got a mixed bag of state of plays, and dodgey blog post announcements for which many you'd expect in a showcase, or at the very least a state of play.
So for them to say its a showcase, I have to believe that they have alot of surprises and alot of games to show off for an hour showing. So many first party studios are at a time they should all have something to show. Totally hyped and I think the hype is real. I'm confident.
Re: Impressive and Beautiful Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Made with 'No Compromises' for PS5
Wednesday cant come quick enough.
Re: LEGO 2K Drive (PS5) - A Creative All-Ages Kart Racer with Irksome Microtransactions
@IslandLogic its why I've given up playing NBA 2K games, the only time I buy it. Is at launch to show off the graphics and then realise, its more of a grind than a Japanese rpg, just to upgrade your player, without paying to the point of you really do have to pay to have anything in those games.
I'd go as far to say that they are now the worst game company, even over shadowing how bad EA used to be
Re: Sony Says It's Too Early to Judge PSVR2's Popularity
Sony knew this was going to be a hard sell. I think we are still forgetting that the living crisis is a real reality for most out there.
This us my problem to. Normally I am day one new tech but I just couldn't justify the price tag and lack of genuine games.
I've got 97 to my name and have bills coming out left and right. 97 to pay 700 wotht of bills. The struggle is real right now. Plus trying to feed kids on top.of this and a roof over there heads. I cant be the only one.
Re: LEGO 2K Drive (PS5) - A Creative All-Ages Kart Racer with Irksome Microtransactions
Re: Days Gone Dev Can't Wait to Show You Its First PS5 Exclusive
Days Gone was a top quality game, id of liked to of seen a sequel. Such a shame but it took them to long to get days gone out.
I'm excited to see what they can do with a new ip. They didn't say they wasn't at the showcase so fingers crossed
Re: PS5 Performance Patch for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Out Now
Literally waiting for everything to be fixed and on sale now for this game.
