Re: Publisher Nexon Investigating Cause of The Finals' 'Lower-Than-Expected' Performance

The game is quite punishing for new players and I can certainly understand why some can’t click with the game. I play it daily, I enjoy the game but I can understand why my friend doesn’t want to pursue putting in the hours to get the game to click for him.

The class system is in my opinion broken. One class dominates (light class) over the other two and it still hasn’t been rectified. How can the light class have an invisibility skill along with sniping weapons and also have thermal vision options whilst the other two classes have grenade like scanners that can easily be spotted and avoided by the other team? It’s ridiculous when you can run around the Heavy class players and they can’t do anything because their turn circle is too slow to have the cross hair on the target. You have no chance as a Heavy if some light class player is running around you close up with a gun that fires out bullets faster than yours.

The newer maps since the initial buzz have been really poor. Very flat and lacking the verticality that the Monaco and Seoul maps have. The Vegas one sucked a lot of fun out of playing the game as it’s just big open rooms lacking the choices of quick escapes from fighting that Monaco has. This seasons new map is no better, it’s quite frankly dull. This spoon feeding of new maps we’re getting from studios is really having an effect on player bases because if the map is not great you’re going to quickly lose the interest of people coming back to a game after being away from it for a period of time. I miss the days of map packs when you could be guaranteed that there would be at least one map out of say four that was great. Season passes don’t offer enough, it’s incentive benefits corporate interests because it offers very little in terms of value.

Re: Sony and Apollo Reportedly Make $26 Billion All-Cash Paramount Bid

@Anke it will be coming to PlayStation regardless of any Paramount buyout. The last Indiana Jones film flopped hard and I don’t see how the Xbox management are going to be thinking “yeah, we’re going to sell bucket loads with this”. I genuinely think they’re on for a loss earner with this game, the footage so far hasn’t exactly set the hype world alight

Got 30 more wins left to get my heavy Class trophy in The Finals completed. Currently playing HiFi Rush having struggled to garner any enthusiasm for it since buying two weeks ago. It’s starting to show signs of enjoyment.

Fired up the PSVR2 last night having finally gotten around to getting my eyes checked out and getting contact lenses. Holy cow, the clarity is so much better. Will be working on a 1000 piece jigsaw in Puzzling Places tonight and tomorrow. Wish I didn’t look like a Klingon after taking the headset off

Re: Diablo 4 Season 4 Could Boast the Game's Biggest Improvements So Far

Stone cold lost interest with this game one day and have no real desire to come back to it. It’s not to say the games bad, rather enjoyed my time, but loot hunts have a limited timespan more so when you’re having to go to the same areas time and time again to hopefully find equipment that will give you a small improvement over what you already have. Meh

Re: Next Like a Dragon Game Isn't Kiwami 3, But the Yakuza 3 Remake Is Happening 'Sooner or Later'

I had a feeling that Infinite Wealth would be more TLOU2 with a certain protagonist but it turned out to be something much more deeper and enlightening to go through. All the characters are wonderful in their own ways and the chapter where you go meet up with a certain group of individuals was visually stunning to me. I won’t say the games one of the best as the better games had a consistency with the storytelling. It did however really showcase the strength these characters all have with one another and I adore games that bring that care and attention to a game.

Also, Kiryu and Seonhee are meant to be together

Re: Legendary PlayStation First-Party Architect Connie Booth Joins EA

The latest BF2042 update is yet another blockbuster insult to their core fans who have had to wait over five months for anything remotely meaningful. The fact that they claim this new season 7 features two new maps is infuriating. The Haven map is recycled assets of the modern Arica Harbour map. It’s pitiful. Then there’s the Stadium map, coming in three months time because apparently we love waiting months for anything new is actually old content that THEY TOOK OUT OF THE GAME and have now brought back. They’re claiming it’s a “new map”. How stupid do they think we are?

I wish they would just kill the series off because they just do more and more damage to the franchise. The new games in big trouble and you can put your house down at the bookies that when it does release it is going to be a mess and it’s going to take months of updates to fix. They never learn from the chaos that they create with each game.

She’s joining a mess of a company
