Upgraded the PS Plus and have ended up playing Bee Simulator, of all things, with my youngest. Might try and squeeze in some more Salt and Sacrifice later, when not watching Glastonbury on the telly

Still undecided. Extra seems like a no-brainer, but I can't decide whether I want to go Premium as well for a bunch of old games that, realistically, I'll play for ten minutes then go back to the latest PS5 release. Will make my mind up later

I've started Salt and Sacrifice and I'm enjoying it. Also I'm dabbling in FIFA 22's career mode. Forgive me Konami, but you forced my hand.

To be honest this adds extra interest for me, just to see how the levels play with the alternate music. I won't miss the old songs, partly because they are etched into my brain forever

PS Plus has become a retirement home for fading online games. If you listen carefully you can hear Ark: Survival Evolved arguing with PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds over the bingo pens

Still making my way through Elden Ring, but I've also picked up It Takes Two and Unravel Two, for some Easter weekend co-op gaming with the kids

Elden Ring, although I've only played bits of Horizon and I haven't bought Gran Turismo yet.

Sifu deserves a a special mention, that game was a pleasant surprise

Elden Ring. My time is mostly spent spamming messages in the hope of receiving free healing.

It's between Astro and Elden Ring at the minute, though obviously one's a lot more completed than the other at the time of writing.

Shout out for Operation Tango. Played through it with a mate and had a whale of a time.

Ten out of ten. When everything is flowing and you're lost in exploring the world, it's the purest form of escapist gaming out there

10 out of 15. Felt easier this time, but I think I'd just played more of the games this time around

It looks great and everything, and I really enjoyed my time with GTA V, both online and off. But personally I think asking me to devote my time to a nine-year-old game when Elden Ring, Horizon and Gran Turismo 7 are all out borders on disrespectful.

I got Elden Ring a whole week ago, so why does it still feel like Elden Ring has got me?

It's called tough love. It'll make them better human beings. I force my nine-year-old play it for six hours a day, while repeating "I will git gud. I will git gud. I will git gud". He is granted a toilet break each time he beats a boss.

Eighteen hours in. I've beaten Margit but I've not really explored the castle yet. I've explored a lot of the surrounding areas though and I've taken out a few optional bosses.

I may play this forever.

A similar thing happened with Red Dead II and God of War in 2018. Daft, really.

I've been so busy with Elden Ring I almost forgot comment on here...

I arrived home and it was waiting for me. Now it will have to continue to wait because I need to make dinner.

So here's the thing. I've bought Horizon Forbidden West and I'm going to get Elden Ring as well. But I've been playing some Sifu on my mate's PS5 and it's all I can think about.

There's just something about how it feels when everything comes together and you're pummeling everyone in your path.

I can't believe I got the Dark Souls 3 question wrong.
