I don't get it, if they regularly do one of these "guess which game we've zoomed in on" tweets, why is this so weird? And why are people assuming it means anything?
Still making my way through Dark Souls III again. Getting my arse kicked, so I'm planning to take my frustrations out on the Nazis by starting Sniper Elite 5.
This actually looks like it could be fun. The inclusion of A$AP Rocky seals the deal, 'Shittin Me' is a most finely crafted musical piece, with truly insightful, touching lyrics.
Continuing my Dark Douls III run, slicing and dicing my way through, alternating between a katana and dual curved swords. Loving it. I'm also trying to use all the items, which I always forget to do in From games, so there are firebombs flying everywhere.
I've been secretly wanting to try Hot Wheels for ages, but being a grown adult, have not been able to justify buying it. Excuse me while I pour a chocolate milk to celebrate.
@Zentradi I came here to say the same thing. They should have added a commentary slider, and if you turn it all the way up they just become downright abusive.
I've still not played the second game yet. I think I'm going to wait for it to pop up on PS Plus at this point. Looking forward to it when I do get around to it though.
Red Dead II
Dark Souls III
Salt and Sanctuary
Dirt Rally 2.0
Hollow Knight
Nioh 2
The Outer Worlds
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime
The Last Guardian
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
Looks lush, although that left hand shot isn't from 1995 as it's Suikoden II pretty poor showing from a Twitter account calling itself "@ Suikoden" pre-order cancelled gee I really hope someone got fired for that blunder etc etc
Decided to have another run through Dark Souls III. The idea was to go caestus, but I seem to have drifted towards a pair of scimitars. I'm trying to switch between weapons as I go and not just fall back on standard sword & shield.
Also planning to check out that Wo Long demo if I can.
No, I want the series to go even further back in history, back to the time when all life was just single-cell organisms bobbing around in a primordial soup. Imagine the size of the map.
Finished Stray last night, and have commenced my speedrun attempt for the platinum.
After taking my time with the game (I clocked in at eight-plus hours by the end) it's strange watching the cat running around frantically like it's bonfire night all of a sudden.
I'm subscribed to December. I'm fine with that, as I've only paid for half a year. But if there isn't a massive PS1, PS2 and PS3 Christmas games dump then I'll be off, as will many others, I'm guessing
@Hurblyburbly Stick with it, you'll get there! I'll also be happy with just getting to the end. I always have a quick look at the trophy list before I start a game (providing there are no spoilers) and this list raised an eyebrow. Now I've started the game, both eyebrows have jumped clean off my face.
After twenty attempts at the time trial on the first level of Crash Bandicoot 4, all I can say is fair play to anyone who has the platinum for this game.
I'm hoping for a better story in VI. I thought V's writing was adolescent and the humour felt stale. I've been playing Mafia III recently and the fact that the game's script and the radio stations aren't constantly trying too hard with the gags just makes the world feel a little more immersive.
A story with the depth of feeling, and undercurrent of tragedy we saw in RDR I and II, plus a world as vibrant as GTA V - that would be a dream for me.
When the kids aren't hogging the PS5 with Star Wars Battlefront II, I've downloaded Mafia 3, in the hope of finally finishing it after a three-year hiatus.
Also playing through Man of Medan with my better half, which we're enjoying. It's all gone a bit pear shaped mind - I may have accidentally killed off a couple of characters last night with some questionable decisions.
Not started it yet, but my son has been playing it. I've been trying not to watch too much so I don't see too many spoilers, but at the same time I can't look away. Far too watchable for its own good.
I have two cats. They do my head in. One of them was brought up by a dog. The dog took him under his wing when he was a kitten. Now he thinks he's a dog too. He stands with his arse sticking out of the cat litter tray, pooing on the floor - because his head is in the box, he thinks his whole body is in. Also he chases his tail, and howls at the door when my wife goes out. The other cat thinks he's an absolute embarrassment, I can see it in her eyes.
I can't even remember what I'm doing here. Is this just a safe space for us to vent about our annoying pets?
On the whole, yes. To be honest I'm not that bothered while I'm only paying up to December, but if I'm shelling out a hundred quid for next year, Premium needs to improve. I've got every faith it will.

I bought a pair of these shoes and the first time I tried to run upside down, I was admitted to hospital. 0/10, would not buy again.

Tetris Effect, which I'm still seeing when I shut my eyes. The Salt and Sacrifice playthrough rumbles on in the background.

Salt and Sacrifice, and maybe a bit of Guardians of the Galaxy or some Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
Re: Test Your PlayStation General Knowledge - Issue 13
6 out of 15. A very strong start, but it began to go wrong somewhere around question two.
