I enjoyed it. A lot of great reveals and trailers, although the sheer amount of ads and shovelware did threaten to water down the impact at times. The Push Square live chat elevated the whole thing even further though
@FuriousMachine Lol yeah probably. Give it a few years and "Moist Critical" is what I'll be shouting at my carer when the incontinence strikes in public
@GamingFan4Lyf Was just about to say the same! Shenmue was originally supposed to feature Akira knocking about, beating fools up. Just need a spin off from this and we've come full circle
I like the look of this. Although you know you're getting old when you read the words "alongside YouTubers such as MoistCr1TiKaL" and begin to worry you're having a stroke
@Rambo-kind Twitter is the social media equivalent of three drunken hobos on a park bench with a bottle of White Lightning, shouting and sh*tting themselves
The fact that it'd only cost me a fiver to upgrade to Premium for the remainder of my sub, and yet I'm still on the fence about it, well that probably says it all.
@DrVenture69 @3Above Thanks for the suggestions folks. I've played Edith Finch, and Firewatch, loved them both. Plenty of good shouts there so I'll take a look at those. Obra Dinn is another one I'm considering
Loads of stuff. Trying out Marvel Rivals and Elite Dangerous with the kids. Also, starting Dark Souls II after finishing the first one last night.
Still going with Eiyuden Chronicle as well, which is really starting to get enjoyable around level 40 onwards.
I'm looking for some sort of walking sim style game with a bit of mystery, as a Christmas game. In the past I've done Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Dear Esther and Gone Home. Suggestions welcome!
I'm making an effort to get back into Eiyuden Chronicle, I feel like if I leave it any longer I won't finish it. I'm enjoying it more than I was, maybe a break was needed.
I've parked my GTA San Andreas playthrough for the time being, since it's leaving Plus. I've picked up Eiyuden Chronicle again and I'm enjoying refamiliarising myself with it.
Also Wo Long and the Dark Souls run continue in the background
Thing is, this isn't going to change much. Those of us who buy a Pro aren't buying it to play Bloodborne. Those of us who aren't convinced will remain so.
And those us who pray for a Bloodborne remaster will continue to weep into our Lady Maria-themed mugs every morning over breakfast at the lastest kick in the teeth.
Only Ubisoft could get in trouble for referencing a disaster that didn't happen until centuries after the game's setting. I'm surprised they've not made a statue of Desmond legging it around Pearl Harbour
@get2sammyb The thumbnail on your article clearly shows the problem - that looks like one of the PS5 Pros has escaped. How many more have Argos accidentally let loose?
@Northern_munkey I've only played Man of Medan and it was fun. The general consensus seems to be that it's the worst one so I don't think you can go wrong really
Great interview. Nice to hear them mention the single player campaign as the main mode, and the multiplayer as a "side dish". That's how I've always thought of it, but that's sadly a less fashionable view these days.
I'll pick this up at some point, it seems worth supporting.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 560
I'll definitely make time to try the Astro festive level. It would be rude not to give the time trials a go while I'm there. Ho ho ho.
Beyond that, Dredge, Hundred Heroes and Dark Souls II. Plus whatever the kids rope me into playing
Re: Poll: What Are Your Gaming Plans for the Holidays?
I've landed on Dredge as my Christmas indie, enjoying it so far. I'll also play the Astro level and I always try and work in some Christmas Nights
Re: Xbox Feels It Made a Mistake Skipping PS5 with Hellblade 2, It's Claimed
"Senu-oh no"
Someone's hit the Christmas sherry early at Push Square towers
Re: Video: The Biggest PlayStation Surprises of 2024
@MrPeanutbutterz Having played and loved Nioh, Wo Long etc, I can't get my head around the fact it isn't my favourite game ever
Re: Video: The Biggest PlayStation Surprises of 2024
Good surprise: how much I enjoyed Animal Well.
Bad surprise: how disappointing Rise of the Ronin was (although I've only played bits of it on a friend's PS5). Thought that was a banker.
Re: Elden Ring Dev Doesn't Currently Know What's Happening with Sony Acquisition
It would be weird if he did know
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 559
Dark Souls II, Hundred Heroes, Wo Long, Astro! So much to choose from, so little time
Re: Reaction: The Game Awards' 10th Anniversary Special Was Its Biggest and Best Ever

Re: Poll: Vote for Your PS5 Game of the Year 2024
Should be fun to see how this goes. I enjoyed Astro, Hundred Heroes and Animal Well this year.
There are a few big hitters (Silent Hill, Dragon Age) that I haven't got around to yet though

@Drago201 I grew up in Blackpool so that was an average saturday night to be fair

I look forward to my 2025 stats:

Re: 12 New PS Plus Extra, Premium Games Arrive Next Week
I'll definitely give Sonic a go.
The fact that it'd only cost me a fiver to upgrade to Premium for the remainder of my sub, and yet I'm still on the fence about it, well that probably says it all.
Re: Black Myth: Wukong, Elden Ring DLC in The Game Awards' Fan Vote Final
@Jayslow It's a prequel to Wuthering Heights, covering Heathcliffe's surfer years before he moved to Yorkshire

Pre-internet Sega. Lightwater Valley. Arcade Tekken. There's a lot to enjoy here.
Re: PS5 Home Screen Customisable with PS1, PS2, PS3, and PS4 Themes for the 30th Anniversary
I'd like the startup noise to stay
Re: Upcoming PS5 Games for December 2024 and January 2025
Once again little to no coverage of the upcoming Rugrats game. I'm getting sick of Push Square's anti-Rugrats agenda

Re: PS Plus Essential Games for December 2024 Announced
Personally I thought It Takes Two was disappointing, I found pretty much every character annoying as hell.
The other two games aren't must plays for me, but they're good to have in the library. I can see TemTem getting a run out with the youngest
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 556
The Crew Motorfest and Dark Souls, to the point where the two have merged in my mind. I swear I just saw Ornstein and Smough crossing the road.

Re: GTA Trilogy Dev Implies Rockstar Made a 'D*ck Move' Removing Its Name from PS5, PS4 Remasters
Oh they removed it intentionally? I assumed it was a glitch
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 554
Started Wo Long this week, what a game.
Also Dark Souls and The Crew Motorfest.

Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for November 2024?
I've been assuring my youngest for months that Hot Wheels 2 will pop up on Plus. Relief is my main emotion
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 553
The Crew Motorfest, Dark Souls 1 and GTA San Andreas. Enjoying all three immensely, and I might start Wo Long this weekend as well
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 552
Bought The Crew Motorfest on a whim after my youngest kept mithering to get it. It's ace
Re: Sniper Elite: Resistance Gets 2025 Off to a Flyer with January Release Date
My mate and I always play through these in co-op, this will be mo different. Always guaranteed a laugh.
The big question though, where is Karl Fairburne? Is this the series' Raiden/Snake moment??
Re: Rumour: Rayman Remake in Development, Former Prince of Persia Devs Involved

@DonJorginho Interesting to see 'pissing' slip through the net there.
Noted for future use.
Re: WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers May Be Another PS5 Soulslike, But At Least It Looks Decent

Yes I've been using it to remind me how good the PS4's UI was

Ouch, some heavy losses there
@Throb Same here, my youngest loves it!

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 550
Continuing the Demon's Souls and Bloodborne double header. HURT ME MORE
Re: Love Classic Lara Croft? Play the Crap Tomb Raider Trilogy on PS5, PS4
@nessisonett I thought there hadn't been enough love for the Phantom Menace on here recently. Yeah big loss, I thought he'd just gone quiet
Re: Love Classic Lara Croft? Play the Crap Tomb Raider Trilogy on PS5, PS4
@nessisonett I didn't realise Rog had gone, damn
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Silent Hill 2?
Loved the original and I'll certainly give this a look at some point. Just started Bloodborne again recently, so that's enough stress for now
