Given how much thought and effort was put into Red Dead II's story, I'm still hopeful of a strong single-player showing from GTA VI. I can understand people's concerns though.
Finally finished Humanity, so I'm not sure what to play next. I could carry on the new Bloodborne playthrough I started a few weeks ago, or I might start Wo Long.
Death Door is a game I've had an eye on for a while. I took the kids to play footgolf this week and it was great. Someone should make a footgolf simulator. Maybe I'll make it in Dreams.
After making gradual progress over the last few weeks, I somehow went absolutely crazy and completed tons of levels on Humanity yesterday. Going to try and keep that momentum going through the weekend.
I'm not very happy about decreasing the invulnerability window of the Quickstep in PVP. This means I might actually have to try and fight invaders, instead of just jumping around until they accidentally fall to their death.
@Kyushutrail The thing that nearly tripped me up for the Stray speedrun was not knowing who to speak to next in the settlements. Looking back, I should have at least used a guide for the town bits. The rest isn't so bad.
After a couple of weeks off gaming, I'm hoping to get back to it today. Might try out Sonic Chaos, amd carry on descending that horrendous tree in Elden Ring. Watching Spiderverse 2 first though!
Yeah I downloaded this the other day purely to play all four main games as Amy. I'll probably check out some of the GG titles at some point though, if only out of curiosity.
@PsBoxSwitchOwner You beat me to it, I was going to say the same thing. Looks great but until it's in my hands I'm reserving judgement, because the controls and feel turned me off the first one so badly
Enjoying Humanity more than I thought I would, although thanks to my efforts, this game now has a higher death count than the entire Uncharted series put together.
Is it okay to admit that I liked the Porsche Xbox? It looked like a Rubik's cube that had been in the wash and the colours had run. Also I liked the game with the guy living under the sea
I've started Tomb Raider, the first of the recent reboot trilogy that is. I'm beginning to enjoy it quite a lot after being unsure for the first hour or so. Also I've raided a couple of tombs now, which is good because I was just about to phone trading standards.
Not in a huge rush to play any of them. Not because I'm not interested, just because I've got enough games on my plate. Final Fantasy is probably the one I'm most interested in, followed by Street Fighter.
I was one of those who watched it live. The most excited I got was when the Gran Turismo advert came on, becasue I thought that meant we were only halfway through.
The smaller games were the highlight of the show for me, and I hope they get some attention once the disappointment over the lack of big hitters wears off. This looks really clever and I'm looking forward to playing it.
@Th3solution It's becoming obvious that I need to stop replaying multiple From Soft games and actually play the games I've not tried. A summer run of the new Tomb Raider trilogy is starting to sound enticing.
I imagine the sentiment he's describing was probably present at quite a few companies, but the top dogs were just better at hiding it. There was a general panicked push towards online and GaaS for a while but hopefully, with the likes of GoW, Elden Ring and Horizon selling bucketloads and scrapping it out for awards, we'll see it swing back towards single player and writers will become a valued commodity again.
I'd love to play a Net Yaroze compilation, if only for the nostalgia value. The Haunted Maze (3D Pac-Man-esque shenanigans with zombies) and Time Slip (the mind-bending adventures of a time-travelling snail) were two personal favourites of mine.
I was about to comment on the stinginess of PS Premium's demos, but then I remembered I used to be happy to pay a fiver for a Playstation magazine, just so I could play a one-level demo of Test Drive 5.

Re: 17 New PS Plus Extra, Premium Games Revealed for Huge Update Next Week
I don't like it when people come on here to moan about the selection, so I'm just going to end this comment now.

Re: Poll: Will You Be Buying Red Dead Redemption on PS4?
You've got to hand it to Rockstar, they're masters at milking a PS3 game for all its worth
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 488

Re: Preview: Sony's Next Great First-Party Game Is Media Molecule's Tren, Made in Dreams
@Quintumply Its creator just wasn't given the necessary time to tie up the narrative threads, that's all. It's the MGSV of Dreams
@Rob_230 I forgot about Barkers Bites!
Re: Elden Ring PS5, PS4 Patch 1.10 Offers PvP Balance Changes, Bug Fixes

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 486
If I get some gaming in, I'll be casually killing off thousands more people as I continue to ineptly make progress in Humanity.
Re: Site News: Accessibility Brought to the Fore in New Push Square Partnership
Yeah this can only be a good thing, well done folks

Re: Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag Remake Reportedly in Early Development
It's still a looker even now so a remake would be glorious. Throw in Freedom Cry as well and I'm sold.
Re: New Korean Rating for Red Dead Redemption Has Fans Hoping for a Remaster
Just give me the second game on PS5, please, for the love of all that is sacred

Excellent news, I've always hoped for a Japanese remake of The Office
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for June 2023?
I'm not happy, but I wouldn't say I'm unhappy with them either. They're just sort of there, like telegraph poles.

They should have called the new one Snickers
Re: Poll: Was This Sony's Best PlayStation Showcase Yet?
I enjoyed the thing with the cat walking through the dark woods.
Re: Feature: Our PlayStation Showcase Predictions
These things have been a let-down recently so I'll settle for a good look at the Elden Ring DLC and a new Spyro game.
Re: Site News: Vote for the Best Game of All Time with the Push Square Community
@Grimwood Don't forget to vote!
Re: Elden Ring Was a Bigger PS5, PS4 Hit Than Anyone Could Have Ever Predicted
I bought it on day one, which I don't often do these days, but I thought I'd take a punt on it being good. I'll probably never part with my copy.

Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for May 2023?
@Rocky1972 Yeah I might bump it up the list. I can't believe I've never played any of the newer games, I was mad on the PS1 trilogy back in the day.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for May 2023?
I'm not as blown away as everyone seems to be this month, but I'll give Humanity and Lake a go, and if I get time I'll play the Tomb Raider trilogy.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 476
I've started Bloodborne again. It's still incredible.
Re: Random: FIFA 23 PS5 May Break if You Have Too Many Friends
EA just exposed their playtesters as a bunch of billy no mates.
Re: Poll: What's the Best PlayStation Startup Sequence?
PS1, because it's the only one that plays in my mind when I wake up in the morning.
Re: Hollow Knight: Silksong Delayed Out of Specific 2023 Release Window
It would be heartbreaking if it launched a buggy mess. Better to get it right.
Re: Game-Breaking Bug Detected in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, But a Fix Is En Route

Re: PS Plus Essential Games for May 2023 Leaked Early
Can confirm Descenders is good for a laugh. Me and my youngest have put a few hours into it.
Re: Everyone's Talking About the End of Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores on PS5
Interesting amount of comments containing the words 'normal' and 'natural' for a game where you hunt robot dinosaurs
