Actually fired up Batman Arkham Knight this weekend as I wanted to see if it still held up.

The graphics, wow. I had to Google to see if it received a PS5 patch but it hasn't, they are stunning for a game that's 8 years old or whatever. Still a great game as well.

@TBubs311 I love both GOW 2018 and Ragnarok but I know what you mean. Ragnarok is better in almost every way logically speaking, but I am not sure if it is my favourite of the two.

I think D3 is probably the game I have the most overall hours on as a guess, I find the looting loop extremely addictive. But I doubt I'll have the same amount of time to play this new iteration now because of boring life responsibilities and stuff.

No but I am playing the RE3 remake that was £8 on PS Store sale the other day. Much more affordable.

I reckon it's going to be AI generation. Either changing the emphasis of prerecorded lines based on what's happening in the game, or even generating completely new dialog on the fly.

Utterly disastrous for Rocksteady and WB.

It takes so long to make a game these days, there is no way that part 3 will be ready in time before the series airs.

I've been playing PS3 recently, Deus Ex Human Revolution, what a game. Still holds up brilliantly.

@Wheatly I think it is indeed exclusive to Xbox if I remember rightly.

I enjoyed my time with this game when it came out but it was lacking in several areas (combat being one) so I think that'll hold me back from diving in again.

Dead Space 2 yes please. Throw Dead Space 3 out the air lock and completely rewrite and remake it lol.

I reckon they might have run into technical difficulties with the Xbox series and they couldn't get split screen to work.

That's my guess anyway.

What are we doing with our lives here guys? Basically every game in the top 10 bar Hogwarts Legacy is either a remake or iteration on what we were actually playing during the PS3 era, or earlier!!

Don't get me wrong, there are some great games here, but I wonder if ten years down the line the sales charts will look really similar. It's like being stuck in a gaming time loop without any way out!! Help!

Yeah Cod is huge, even some of my mates who play lots of different games play Cod every night. To be fair I used to as well, just fell off the Cod train.

This was a killer episode of TV. Dare I say that the show is improving a lot of areas of the story. I know a game needs to be a game and you need to kill stuff and walk places, and the show only needs to be the narrative, but still, great stuff.

Loved it when Ellie asked Joel if he remembered where his stuff was and he said he was 'zeroing in on it'. I was like, I remember searching all those cupboards for loot mate, leave no stone unturned!

I remember the original DS had an ending that literally scared you right up until the final moment of the game, was brilliant lol - dunno how that can be topped.

@lindos I've got gaming pc but it's around 4 years old, and wasn't highest spec at the time either so probably can't handle DS at 4k etc lol.

I consider Dead Space to be one of the greats, shame I can't afford the price tag at the moment but one day I'll play this for sure.

Who thought a switch game would be one of the first games to push past 4k (albeit on faster hardware), and nearly at 5k at that!

Over on PC I think I'm going to start Homeworld remastered again. Finished it before but man, that is a hard game.

I foresee this getting 7's and occasional 8's. I haven't watched the trailer or seen much gameplay but sometimes you just get a gut feeling don't you. Lol.

Metal Gear?!?!

Planning on replaying Twin Snakes shortly which is absurd but great.

Finished every Metal Gear game (apart from Alive) like literally 10 times. Love it!!

Part of me wants to be excited for this, but some parts of the trailer concern me. I would rather have combat in dynamic environments where you have to think about what's around you, rather than massive, flat, and wide open spaces as seen in some parts of the trailers (presumably inside dungeons). Gave me a Serious Sam vibe which is ok, but not exciting for me personally.

I might have been following this industry for a while but saying Sony will announce Third Party stuff soon is a bit like saying the Earth is going to spin around it's axis and continue to orbit the ball of hydrogen and helium at the middle of our solar system.

DMC 5 is fantastic. I always considered Bayonetta to be the pinnacle of these types of action games but DMC5's combat is so good that it's probably surpassed that.

Thought Ellie had a lightsabre from the photo, I was like, what is going on? That wouldn't be a faithful adaptation lol

@SerJosh97 Not a hater, I never played it. It just failed as a live service game. I'm sure parts of it were fun.

@Uncharted2007 huge Mass Effect fan here too. Hopefully it won't be live service, I know Sony is interested in developing a ton of them. We don't want another Anthem on our hands lol.

Gow Ragnarok for me with a bit of Surviving Mars on the side. Ragnarok is brilliant.

@whitejessegpfc I found Returnal harder in the middle of the game but you can pass a point where you get consistently better gear and your skill level is higher than the end game challenge. I beat it in around 25hrs I think and I'm not the most skilled gamer by any stretch, but I would say it is generally a hard game. Hope that helps lol.

Finished it once, but basically completed most side quests and content in that play through. Maybe I'll find the time one day to play through again. Played and completed all other Soulsborne games and this is a great one, though Bloodborne is still my favourite.

Got 13/20. Quite a high score for me!
