I'll maybe watch it, but I doubt I'll bother buying it unless I sell Battlefield 1. Even then, it's an EA game, so the chances of me buying it are especially low.

I've never cared about Joel nearly as much as most people have. He just seems like a generic grizzled, grumpy guy to me. Kratos is way more interesting.

Looks better than I thought it would. I think more color would have helped it stand out more, though. But then people would accuse it of copying Splatoon, especially with the music being somewhat similar already.

It would almost be a poor man's Splatoon.

@YummyHappyPills To be fair, what he said wasn't exactly inaccurate. The Wii U is dead, and let's be honest, it pretty much always has been. Its install base is quite abysmal.

I got bored of survival games a long time ago. I'll pass on this one.

Not really a fan of Just Cause, and Mad Max looks quite mediocre from what I've seen. I can't exactly say I'm excited for this if those are the people developing it.

Last I heard this was supposed to just be some generic monster movie, and nothing like the actual Monster Hunter games. I'll pass.

It looks kinda interesting. I doubt I'll be buying it, but I'll keep an eye on it. I want to see more.

Still playing God of War. I think I'm getting close to the end-game, though. I really don't want it to end. Might have to pick up another single player game soon, like Horizon or Shadow of the Colossus.

I think a 2020 release is about right. Any sooner would be too soon IMO.

@Octane Let's hope so. It doesn't have to be crazily different, but pushing around boxes and finding pieces of wood for Ellie to float on is not gonna cut it.

I'm not expecting much from this.

Really the only 2 games I'm interested in seeing more of are Ghost of Tsushima and Death Stranding. The Last of Us Part 2 is probably just gonna be more TLoU with a few changes here and there, since innovation isn't exactly Naughty Dog's strong suit, and we already have a solid grasp on what kind of game Spider-Man will be.

I just hope they don't make a Destiny 3, unless they can majorly improve it.

It looks pretty good, but it also looks bland somehow. Probably because the zombie apocalypse genre has been done to absolute death. I'm definitely keeping an eye on it, though.

It deserves it. One of the best games ever made.

I'll probably watch some to get a better idea of what the game is, but I doubt I'll watch the whole thing. I want to minimize spoilers as much as possible.

I'm not entirely sure yet. The first game was a lot of fun, but I'm not a mega fan like most people are. The story and characters didn't do much for me and they were honestly pretty boring, and the world didn't have a whole lot to do in it IMO. Plus, the fact that they made so much money from GTA Online could mean a watered-down single player experience and probably no single player DLC like Undead Nightmare, not to mention the micro-transactions and whatnot.

It has a lot of potential, but I need to see more. I'm not as into Rockstar as I am other studios.

@rjejr They definitely massively improved on the first one, which was a steaming pile of garbage, but the core gameplay mechanics of running around, shooting people, climbing, and solving puzzles haven't really changed. Pretty much all they've added is a few sequences with vehicles, swinging on a rope, and pushing around boxes.

Naughty Dog doesn't tend to like innovation very much when it comes to their gameplay. I really don't think it's gonna change much from the first TLoU. Uncharted has barely changed at all since the first one, aside from simply refining what was already there.

It's certainly not gonna be the next God of War IMO, that's for sure. I doubt those standards will be met, let alone surpassed, for a while.

Good. God of War deserves good sales far more than Labo does.

@PS_Nation I agree. The only thing that could hold this game back quite a lot is how much money they made from GTA Online.

I tend not to watch more than 1 trailer for any game or movie. I find the experience tends to start being ruined past that point as more and more things get revealed. Nintendo basically revealed the entire game with Breath of the Wild trailers before it even came out, for example.

God of War. Could potentially be GOTY.

@RedMageLanakyn I don't really understand how any logical person could be upset over that. Sure, the hardcore adult Nintendo fans might buy Labo, but let's be real, Labo is a children's toy, while God of War is a game meant for teenagers and adults. They're going to appeal to vastly different groups of people for the most part.

As for the main point of the article, I wouldn't say it quite scratches my Zelda itch, as it's simply too different IMO, but there are definitely similarities. The structure of the game is similar enough to Zelda in some ways. Certainly more of a Zelda game than Breath of the Wild was.

@Ralizah I think you should give it a shot. I'm not super far into the game yet, maybe 1/4 of the way through, but the characters are definitely growing on me. I don't see what's wrong with the art style, and the game is honestly gorgeous IMO, but that's personal preference.

Never played God of War aside from a few minutes of a demo of one of the early ones, but this new one looks great. Only 2 days leftttt.

Bloodborne, and maybe some Splatoon 2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on the side.

They're absolutely art. Weaving together a world that feels alive with compelling characters, story, gameplay, lore, visuals etc etc is 100% an art form.

If I can get good at Bloodborne, I might consider this game one day.

I hope I can play this, because Dark Souls 3 is flat out unplayable for me. I ragequit that game a while ago and I doubt I'll go back for a long time, if ever.

This is gonna be a really good year. I love Nintendo, but from what I've seen so far, the PS4 is gonna get quite a bit more usage this year than my Switch will.

It feels like E3 just happened. How is it already so close?

Either way, I know it's not likely to happen at all, but please give us The Elder Scrolls VI.

I'm really tired of zombie games, personally. I don't know if I could stand playing another zombie survival game.

Either way, good for the reviewer that he stuck to his guns and reviewed the game based on how he truly felt about it, rather than how the masses felt about it. I personally don't feel like this game is an 8/10 at all, but the world would be pretty boring if we all felt the same way about everything.

This is more or less what I expected. This game has always looked pretty janky.

Monster Hunter World. Just got it yesterday, and I'm pumped to really dive into it.

@PS_Nation I'm sure they will focus on the online. They got a ton of money from that.

It's okay. Not entirely sure why people are so excited though. Knack is Knack, and RiME is a good game, but not exactly a killer IP.

I'm excited to see what the hype is all about. I'm not sure exactly what I'm getting into with this game, but I'm sure I'll enjoy it. I'm a big fan of more cinematic and atmospheric games.

At the very least, I don't feel quite as bad about not owning Monster Hunter World right now.

It's probably gonna be filled with loot boxes and micro-transactions anyway, no matter how good the game itself is.

Unless EA stops being greedy, I'm not buying this game no matter how high the quality of the game is. Their business practices can go die in a fire, and so can the company itself.

I'm not convinced by this game. Looks boring and kinda soulless.
