I understand that many of these delays have a good reason but it doesn’t stop it from being annoying as hell.

The ONE BIG DIFFERENCE that I noticed with this game versus other GaaS games is that Multiversus doesn’t let you earn back the currency to put toward the next season. I hope that’s fixed, otherwise, this could set a bad precedent for customers if future GaaS games follow suite.

I hope Saints Row doesn’t suck as that’s the only thing of interest to me for Aug and Sept, otherwise, it’s going to be a long wait for October and on.

I believe October is the 30th anniversary of the release of MK, so, they are probably holding off NetherRealm news until Oct.

Well, the industry delayed 2020, into 2021, 21 into 22, might as well delay 22 into 23.

I love Rocket League. I played Roller Champions an hour or so and then went back to Rocket League.

I’ve had a negative attitude regarding this remake since I first heard about it, and damn, after watching that video I feel even more negative about it.

Honestly, I don’t mind remasters or remakes mostly, but I am not a fan when one of the best studios in the industry, ND, is assigned to work on one. It’s seems like a damn waste of talent to me. We wait years for NEW high quality games and one of the best studios had to spend their time on this.

I’m not in the argument of costs. I don’t care. If Bluepoint was doing this, I wouldn’t like it, but it wouldn’t sting as bad as ND doing it. I know ND is working on multiple projects, but I despise one minute of their time was wasted on this.

Ehh, nickel&dime is the game industry motto at this point.

I’m getting use too a majority of these companies doing dirtbag sh**. They just don’t get my money, but I imagine that fact that this stuff getting worse is proof suckers pay them well.

As I expected, such a waste of talent from a top studio. This is alright for PC players and new players.

People say, we’ll they needed something to work on and took this project. It blows my mind that one of the top tier studios doesn’t have another project lined up with finishing up the last 40% of a current project. How can you not have something new prepared? Such a waste of talent and a waste for us who buy almost every single Sony exclusive. I’ve played this game multiple times through multiple generations, it’s so aggravating. Well, you don’t like it don’t buy it! Well I don’t like this crap because I want to play new games from Sony first party studios.

It looked a lot like what I remember of TLoU, but I believe I noticed that Joel cocked the hammer on his pistol in that new vid and I believe that is a detail that wasn’t added until TLoU2. So, they may have done some work to the animation system.

Im from an age of gaming where you had to play to unlock characters, like in Tekken 2. So, I may actually prefer the play to unlock mechanic in the game. Granted, it could be a horrible grind.

PlayStation titles being influenced by Destiny is a gaming nightmare come true.

I can understand him leaving. They don’t need writers when they rerelease titles.

Nintendos coin system has been nice. You buy games, you get a currency to use toward a future purchase. I’m buying them anyway, so, it’s a nice system that gives me a discount in the future.

There have been multiple times where I’ve put it toward a 10$ game and only had to pay around 5$.

I’m looking forward to playing a few of these I missed. Some of these were impossible to find back in the 90s without the internet. You either came across them in your local shops or you didn’t see them.

Harvest Moon on the N64 was hard as hell to find back then.

The only way I could have been tempted with this game is if it included the original multiplayer or if it was 20$ or less. We know why that didn’t happen. I hope they lose their ass on this to deter future projects like it. I don’t mind remasters or remakes, but applying that to games less than ten years old is some BS.

@Cutmastavictory I felt that way from its first couple of months released. I swear you gamers are odd.

I liked GTAV but didn’t love it and I have always been shocked that it has sold as well as it did. They got lucky with it. Tapping X to run is so outdated along with the alternate control scheme. It’s matchmaking system is horrendous. It’s melee system is very lacking compared to Sleeping Dogs, and it’s lack of a climbing system is very underwhelming. It doesn’t need to be like Assassin’s Creed, but its currently a joke. I remember jumping a small gap from one roof to another and the character goes rag doll.

That’s nice but it’s too far out to care about. No, I won’t preorder.

I really miss when Rockstar was capable of releasing a steady stream of higher quality games. Now, they released ONE new title in 9 years….

I would be happy if they scaled back on the scale of their games if they were able to release games more often. I am all for smaller high quality games.

For a long time, looking forward to hearing something like a release date mattered to me. I want to play God of War Ragnaroc, but even if they announced it today there is a very good chance that I wouldn’t care. The only way I could care is if it was releasing in the next 3 weeks. Any further than that is to far to care about. I’m not trying to rush my life away.

If I had to choose between playing either singleplayer or multiplayer for the rest of my life I’d easily go with singleplayer.

I liked Ghost of Tsushima but I loved Infamous so much more.

I thought Elden Ring was alright. I enjoyed Sekiro and Bloodborne way more.

@nomither6 Crash 4 is a pretty awesome game and I’m in my 30s. Don’t screw yourself by missing out on some good games by age locking them behind a gate.

Learning that news today doesn’t make a potential reveal from Sony later any less exciting for me.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want actual big game spoilers or movie spoilers, but I love stuff like this. That’s why I follow leaks on Reddit. I’m so ready to actually see what NetherRealm is working on, even if it’s a leak.

PSPlusExtra has killed my interest in buying indie titles mostly.

I enjoyed Returnal but was disappointed that some of the coolest things like the house in the jungle are restricted to a handful of occurrences. I really thought they were going to be utilized more.

70$ for this is a joke and is such a waste of talent.

This and another game they showed looked vary dated though me. Kinda like the beginning of the PS4 gen.

I was pleased with the Xbox showcase and can easily see myself buying a Series S for Hollowknight if it’s a timed exclusive for my kids.

I can also see myself buying a Series X next summer for myself after many of those games have released along with the opportunity to play older Xbox games I missed.

Great game. I believe it also was the last true PS5 game that didn’t offer cross gen.

I’ll probably watch it but feel like tv and movie adaptations of games are no longer needed as games have exceeded that medium. I enjoy a well done game way more than any tv show or movie.

It’s not the 90s and early 2000s anymore.

It’s beginning to sound like it will be nothing like the first one. Which sucks, because it was fantastic.
