Theres a difference between a dlc and an expansion. Should expansions be elligable? Blood and Wine, Phantom Liberty, Shadow of the Erdtree? New mechanics, new areas, new storylines. They could release these as sequels almost. The issue is just that they don't get a standalone release. So . . . in some cases . . . yeah. Why not?
Bioware is nothing more than a hollow corporate brand name to be ignored at this point. The real new game from the actual people who made the Dragon Age / Mass Effect / KOTOR / Baldur's Gate classics we all love is called Exodus. And it looks pretty awesome.
I liked the modern parts of AC3, giving Future Desmond his own missions. Layla was bland, unsure what her goal was tbh. Basim is a bit more interesting at least.
@torquex they sure did. The remake is a partnership with Remedy developing and R* financing and publishing. Remedy get a percentage after R* make their costs back. Similar to their deal with Epic who funded Alan Wake 2. Its a much more mainstream IP though, so hopefully they will get a decent amount from it and much quicker.
I'm glad there's a ten pound remaster. But Im still not gonna rush out and get it. If at some point in the future I actually want to play hzd again then sure. But it's hardly exiting.
Will probably play this eventually and enjoy it, but February s KIngdom Come 2 month. Got a week off work for it and everything haha. What I'd really like from AC is a PS5 patch for Unity. Love that game.
@GreatAuk Indeed. That's why the things that cater to them keep failing, and still they keep getting established IP projects alligned to their demo, rather than the fans who made it successful in the first place. Genuinely baffling at this point. Ah well, there's enough good stuff getting released that its easy to vote with dollars and attention.
A PS2 looking game for 'the modern audience'. One to avoid. Really hope the rumours of Warhorse doing a LOTR game next are true. A good one would be nice.
Regarding Outlaws, the Star Wars brand as a whole has been ran into the ground recently. Oversaturation with low quality failures. From the Last Jedi to the Acolyte. Needs to go away for a bit. Used to be so special back when there were only 3 movies.
Wonder if we'll still get the rumoured DD2 expansion. Great game but could be so much greater. Much like the original was vastly improved with the Dark Arisen stuff.
Maybe they do and I missed it, but Sony (or pushsquare on their behalf) needs to do a survey like Capcom did a few months back. 'Unique and attractive characters' was the second largest want worldwide.
Yeah I don't really care. What else do they have? Starfield? Nah. Keep it. Halo and Gears were good 20 years ago. The only MS exclusive I'd really like to see on PS5 is Quantum Break.
Love Machine games Wolfenstein. Excited to see what they do with Indy. Fond memories of the Emperors Tomb on the original Xbox. Over 20 years ago! Jesus! Then again the last good Indy film was 35 years ago.

Hopefully the Max Payne remakes will give them a nice cash injection.

Re: Dragon Age: The Veilguard Comes Out Swinging, Already EA's Biggest Single Player Game on Steam
70k concurrent is NOT a good number for a game of this name and budget on release week. But sure.

So its an actual disc, right? Not a box with a download code inside as rumoured.

I love Fromsoft games. But if I see something else labelled as soulslike I immediately lose interest.

@Ainu20 butt ugly woman in strange wig knocks out trained soldiers with bare hands and sub-par animations. I'm not sure who it's pandering to either.

Yes. Proper expansion with more enemy variety would be ideal, but it needs at least a hard mode for ng+.
