Re: Sony Appears to Be Dabbling with Written User Reviews on the PS Store

-Sigma-

Yeah I received an email requesting that I make a small write a small review of Helldivers 2.
I have over 500hours in the game and like 96% in terms of trophies. However it wouldn't let me actually review it and instead ask me to choose an edition. Like ratings, physical owners are left out it seems, are at least unless it's bugged for some games.

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Helldivers 2: Escalation of Freedom?

-Sigma-

Yeah im playing and will be playing this weekend naturally, afterall, I have over 500 hours in this(441 mission time). That said, the update isn't going over well with a lot of the community thanks to some of the balance changes(right before the fire warbond lol). AH can't seem to get out of their own way at times. The short of the rest is that the update doesn't seem to be worth the wait. Hell, you practically nerfed the next warbond in a way and it's not even out yet lol. The way im seeing it right now, this game will see a temporary uptick but quickly go back to where it was before the update in player count.

Re: Concord's Free Open Beta Is Performing Abysmally on PC

-Sigma-

It's another hero shooter in a sea of gaas now. It's not good enough(or good at all imo, I don't get any sense of satisfaction after matches) and not unique enough to warrant me caring about it to be honest. The beta only solidified my thoughts going into it. My only thought about whole thing now is who are all the players involved in greenlighting and cultivating this. Cuz I don't want them fired.....but I just don't want them to be allowed to do this anymore under PlayStation.

Re: The Obligatory Helldivers 2 Isn't As Popular As It Was Headlines Have Started to Emerge

-Sigma-

I find stuff like that laughable really. Like every game is suppose to keep all their players all the time. It's a multiplayer game, other games come out. There's a couple of games that have the overwhelming majority of players(Fortnite/Cod/GTA and a few more) while everybody else go through fazes. Fundamentally most live service games now suck to me because of how they hook the player and what they tend to give you and not give you and fun tend to not be at the forefront of most ive tried. Another thing not in Helldivers 2 favor is that it doesn't have any real FOMO like most live services. So glad Arrowhead didn't do that and people can just put the game down and come back later and play and all the stuff will be there. Arrowhead has certainly made plenty of mistakes that has contributed to the drop but that's ok. I still love the game even if I don't play it everyday anymore since......you know, I actually want to play other games too. I'm not one of those gamers that just play Fortnite, Cod, GTA, 2k, Madden etc those type of games all the time which makes up the majority of that crap stuff these days. I want my time spent on many types of games while im alive.

Re: LEGO Horizon Adventures Is on Nintendo Switch Because It's a Game 'For Everyone'

-Sigma-

So basically, you're a 3rd Party Publisher. And yes keep doing all these moves, this WILL make your platform less desirable when it comes to the consoles, we literally watched Phil do this to Xbox over the past 2 gens. It's lego now, then it's Horizon itself and Astro Bot next on Switch 2 coming directly from Guerrilla or Nixxes lol. And they will justify it at every turn. We got Hulst out here saying that he's using tentpole titles to convince PC gamers to buy a PS5, that's basically gaslighting at this point.

Re: CYGNI: All Guns Blazing Knows What It's Doing with This PS5 Trailer

-Sigma-

Saw this in the pre-order section of the ps store yesterday and wondered what it was but not enough to click on it to see at the time lol. I like bullet hell/shmups. $30 can be a tough sell for those type of games at times but I have some interest, it does look good visually for these types of games. We'll see what im doing by the time this releases, that will determine my interest in buying it then or maybe waiting for a down the line sale.

Re: Sony Trolls Bloodborne Stans with Astro Bot PS5 Pre-Order Bonus

-Sigma-

Wait a minute, why isn’t the Glorious Graffiti and Neon Dream a real thing?(without the wings of course). I want that Glorious Graffiti but I would settle for a Neon Dream. And why are we releasing these games lately without Steelbooks? I want premium product physically! I’m still a collector! A Yharnam Hunter Astro Bot statue is a huge missed opportunity as well.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of Sony's State of Play for May 2024?

-Sigma-

Concord had me right up to the moment it showed gameplay. Then it looked like every other gaas on the market and will be competing them(Hell a competitor, Marvel, was literally in this same State of Play). It didn't look attractive. My prospects are not good for that game in the long run. People bring up Helldivers II but that game passed the unique factor off jump and looked fun. This game doesn't to me.

Astro Bot looks good. I'll get that. I still may be the only person on the planet of hasn't played Playroom whose had their PS5 for this long though lol.

The Ballads Of Antara looked interesting. I'll keep an eye on that.

Monster Hunter looked cool.

Overall: 4/10. It sucked.

Re: Concord Is Sony's Answer to Overwatch, Launches August, Beta Test in July

-Sigma-

I thought it looked like every other gaas game on the market. Will be competing in that sea of them(hell it's competing with the other Marvel game they showed in this very state of play) and wasn't even attractive at all when it came to gameplay. It's just dreadful how desperate companies have come in this space for the next fortnite/cod.

Re: Helldivers 2 Director: Live Service Is Good for Gaming, But Only If It's 'Done Right'

-Sigma-

Yeah but the reality seems be that it's not working out that way. These live services don't respect your time and want all of your money all the time. Don't want you playing anything else. And the big guns continue to funnel all the money towards them leaving the rest of the industry scrambling to get there or fail trying even if it means going under. If only they were like Helldivers II id welcome more of them and play more of them.

Re: PS5, PC Live Service Concord Will Launch in 2024

-Sigma-

So far they haven't showed anything. Not holding out hope for anything worth my time. I don't expect Concord to be anywhere near as generous towards the player when it comes to mtx like Helldivers 2. I mean fundamentally, the mtx in Helldivers 2 are a joke. I mean that in a good way for the player. Most live service aren't even close to that and it's kinda unrealistic to expect something similar from Concord.

Re: Helldivers 2 on PS5, PC Is Sony's Fastest Selling Game of All Time

-Sigma-

Despite my gripes about things at times and ive had a bunch of them(like the way they balance and take away fun things we are able to do within the game plus hidden buffs/nerfs not disclosed in patch notes), im happy for Arrowhead. Specially coming from Helldivers 1 seeing it blow up second time around. I still actively play. It's the reason why I haven't played a couple games ive bought this year yet and why ive quit playing a few that I was playing beforehand. I just keep using my spare time to boot up the game and play a few missions almost per day.

Re: Tango Gameworks, Arkane Austin, More Closed in Brutal Bethesda Restructure

-Sigma-

Microsoft buying Activision is looking like the worst thing that could happen to the other studios MS bought. Years of cheering MS buying studios/Publishers(even by those in the media). 2-3 trillion dollar company can't afford to keep studios open all of sudden. No! It's that they no longer need to pretend like sales don't matter gamepass, gamepass and all that nonsense.
