So... Need for Speed is essentially the Fast and Furious of the video game realm? I mean it looks like it's focusing on action and corny "we're a family" plot-lines rather than, you know, simple street racing. Also, there are God knows how many games in the franchise at this point.
@Simon_Fitzgerald yep, the original Spyro games were some of my favorites on the PS1. One of the main reasons I bought a Vita was for portable Spyro as PS1 classics... but Sony had different plans for North America.
Awesome! The pictures and information shown look really cool so far. I got Darksiders II on my PC a while back but sadly it doesn't run well on my laptop. I'll have to pick up the first two games on another platform sometime before this game drops next year!

I knew this game would turn out well, but man, reviews have been praising it more than I thought. I'll probably pick this up on my Switch some point this summer!
I'd be down for another Need for Speed, I just want them to design it like the older entries. It's probably nostalgia speaking here, but I absolutely loved Most Wanted and Carbon. I actually didn't play the "reboot" that came out a couple years ago so I'm not sure if that tried to bring it back or not.
It's great to see this game turning out so well. The footage looks great and I'm sure it will be worth the wait... I just wish we had a release date/window!
This year is pretty crazy for gaming. This is definitely one of Sony's all-time best years for the PS4 if not every system. Nintendo is looking to have a great year as well with a great lineup of Switch games for the holiday season. Microsoft... well there isn't a lot to look forward to there, sadly. I don't think there is a single XBOX One exclusive I plan on getting this year as of now. I'm pretty sure that will change after E3 or the Scorpio reveal.
And that's not even considering third party games.
@FullbringIchigo I have to give the first one another go too. I remember picking it up when I had a ton of other games to play through. I played it for about 3 hours but got to invested in other games so I traded it in. I'll definitely have to pick it up again this summer.
It would be great to see Sunset Overdrive hit the PS4 (and Switch). It was a great game with a great sense of humor... well, I found it funny. Apparently not everyone did. But it's definitely one of my favorite XBOX One exclusive and more people should be able to try it.
I'm not bothered by this at all. In fact, I'm happy. I'd only want to see a Crash game as a PS4 exclusive if it was being developed by a big name Sony owned developer. Otherwise, let everyone play it.
This is messed up. I've had two of my portable systems stolen in car robberies and I can say it's a really crappy thing to go through. But stealing from children with cancer? That's some next level lack of morality.
As everyone else is saying, hopefully Sony will replace it.
Finally! I've been holding off until the White model would be announced for North America. I don't really care much for Infinite Warfare, but I suppose I could trade it in for 20 bucks or so.
I'm surprised this game fell off the radar so much. It always looked pretty neat but I honestly forgot about it since it got little to no publicity recently. It's good to hear it's coming out so soon. I'm looking forward to more information soon.
I played Unity on XBOX One and I never ran into any serious issues. That being said, I didn't play the game at launch, so maybe that's why it ran pretty smooth for me.
@Fight_Teza_Fight They do that kind of stuff all of the time. I remember when I was younger they charged me full price for a used copy of Super Mario Galaxy and kept claiming it was new.
Glad to hear it's all done now. I'm still not sure which system I'll pick this up for but I'm definitely getting it as soon as I get home for summer break.
Yep, I noticed this a few days ago. I just saved up enough for a PS4 and now one of my most anticipated games for the system is near impossible to obtain physically. Just my luck :/
Sony should really do a reprinting for this title.
It's great to see this game turn out so well. I'll pick it up some point this summer when I get my PS4. I've always wanted to get into the Tale of series.
I'm a supporter of all systems so this doesn't bother me at all.
I'm sure he was over-exaggerating but that's still a bold thing to say. It shouldn't matter what he says though; the PS4 is way ahead in console sales and it has a much better lineup of titles for 2017.
My guess is that Sony doesn't market the PS4 Pro because the majority of people who would buy it for that price are hardcore gamers who already know about it and will buy it no matter what as long as it's not way overpriced.
My favorite features of the original game were the different combat system from other adventure games and the varied mission structures. Since those were the only two complaints, I guess I should absolutely love this title.
I absolutely loved Slightly Mad Studios' Shift games... but I didn't like Project Cars at all. It was a neat car simulator but I just didn't find it fun at all. I'll keep an eye on this sequel but I can't say I'm excited for it.
Games go on sale at all points throughout the year, not just the holiday season. I don't have a disposable income, so I pickup games that I want whenever they go $32 or less. I pick up games for very cheap throughout the entire year every year.
I don't see why people hated the writing in the Tomb Raider games so much. I wouldn't say I think it's incredible, but it kept me engaged enough to keep playing. I'll hope for the best in the (hopefully real) third entry in the rebooted series.
I've just started to get into indie games and I'm currently playing through Shantae and the Pirates Curse. I'm nearly done it and I have to say it's incredible. Easily one of my all-time favorite sidescrollers.
From what I have heard, it seems Half-Genie Hero isn't as good as the previous entries. I'm not saying I heard it's bad; in fact, I've heard it's quite good... just not quite as good as previous entries. I'm still very excited to pick it up when I finish Pirate's Curse, though.
This is great news. I've been poor for a while now but as long as this internship pulls through, I should be able to get both a PS4 and a Switch in 2017.
From all the reviews I have seen, this game collection is essentially two incredible games that have only been moderately updated for next generation. Definitely worth picking up if you never played them or want a physical copy of them, but if you have them on any other platform, there doesn't seem to be a reason to pick this up.
I expect every game to get delayed before release these days, especially Sony games. This wasn't too surprising for me. This gives me more time to save up for a PS4, I guess.
@ShogunRok Seems ideal. I'd like a small one or two paragraphs at the bottom of each review specifying the "PS4 Pro Difference", but I completely understand if that can't be there for every game.
Very cool to see. I haven't played the older entries and I have heard these are some of the best in the series. I know the series is really stale to some people, but I'm personally looking forward to picking this up as long as the price is fair.

Re: Sony Believes PlayStation Vita Is Still a Viable System
Funny to hear a company so content with their product being just "viable" instead of a "success" or something. Ah well, they have the PS4 for that.
