Doesn't this begin to make people not spend, or even start in the first place, with a live service game for fear of it being shut down?
The Netflix Effect is happening to live service games.

These companies really should think of a date and then just add three months.

Got to be one of the best games on the horizon now (I even impressed myself with that pun).

I gave it a 4 as it just wasn't fun and that parkour was infuriating.
I did quite enjoy the cuff chat though, I thought he was quite funny, which puts me in a minority it seems.

Very much looking forward to this, although it doesn’t sound like they are getting rid of the boats and planes though which is a disappointment.

156hrs of gameplay so far for me, but to be honest there's about 15hrs of gameplay in it. It's one hell of a grind for a platinum.
One thing it desperately needs is more space/biomes so that's good. I just hope they're attached ones rather than the teleport ones.

I've been playing it this weekend, wow it's bad.
I finished the main story and now just clearing up the collectibles. I want it to be over.
Top tip: swap R2 with R1 and L2 with L1, your trigger finger will thank me.

It's actually a pretty fun game.

@PenguinLtd it really got super-obvious after a while didn't it? You could just see the next gap approaching from afar and know exactly what was on the other side.

@Ah-Void I think I played about 70 games this year, I thought Need for Speed Unbound was a highlight, Dying Light 2 was good, Plague Tale was too, as was WRC Generations. I could name many more, all more fun and more entertaining for me.
Each to their own remember.

I just didn't think it was that good, too much talking, too much squeezing into the next arena, and too many daft puzzles.
Feel free to hate me but there were better games this year.

Finally platinumed it today, those final fights for 100% were quite amusing as was the crucible but the rest of it was pretty boring.

It does depend on whether the playlists are full leaderboards or just a few select people. Either way probably pretty easy eventually.

@Nexozi true but some of us have memory issues so it's pointless, I can't remember very well so I'm sitting through something for nothing.

Two weeks early I can understand his frustration but the bit about "having just an installer on the physical disc" is just dumb.

A solid 7 from me, I didn't really see what all the negativity was about.
I found the traversal fun and the world looked really good.
Yes it wasn't 60fps but you did get used to it after a few minutes.

Almost as good as the first one but the length was off for me, it just lasted a tad too long.
The first one felt a more believable world too.
Still brilliant and I hope they make more.

I'm 50/50 on physical/digital these days, but the fact that physical prices on day one releases are so much cheaper is worth the risk to me. Saying that, base.com where I order from usually gets the games to my door before release so it's just a blip this time.

£210 is insanity, not a chance they sell many of these.

It was good but painfully short for the amount of time it must've taken to create. Definitely could've done with more large puzzles like the bridges.

You could say it's a bit of a copy paste list but it's a decent list.
Yes it's got some holes in it but plenty of great cars to choose from.

I'm pretty sure Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson didn't play the games before their acting performances either and that turned out fine.
The script and production crew will steer them in the right direction.

@OMGitsLiamT I did indeed, I probably wouldn't have purchased it if it was filled with multiplayer/co-op trophies.

I actually pre-ordered it this morning on seeing the trophy list as it looks like my cup of tea. Lots of collectibles.

So if these aren't installed on your machine you have to redownload around 300GB of data just to fire up the games to earn one digital item.
