Re: More People Are Playing the Original Horizon Zero Dawn Than Its Remaster on PC

Beerheadgamer82

@KundaliniRising333 theres also a point to be made about gamers are allowed to have slightly different gaming tastes than one another without being judged online for it all the time but that's the internet tho isn't it. There's not many open world games that would work properly without some kind of map for the player to use. So many open world games would become a borefest chore without the use of a map. Imagine a huge open world game where it takes 3 hours per side mission to find them or 3 hours per small collectable

Couldn't care less about PC but thoroughly enjoyed HZD almost 8 years ago and now thoroughly enjoying it all over again. Do enjoy HZD very mildly a bit more than HFW. This is quite literally the best looking remaster I've ever played, even if it was already a decently good looking game in 2017PS4 standards. Better looking than many other PS5 games this remaster. Balanced VRR the one. Nixxes has done a top tier job on this

Re: Concord Cost Sony Over $200 Million, And Didn't Make a Single Cent

Beerheadgamer82

@SlipperyFish I can't really judge a Bungie game as I've never experienced any of theirs but I do know they have their fans still and stands more of a chance of being a success than Fairgame but who knows, just look at the Helldivers2 huge success that nobody expected. It's always the gamble with MP GaaS games and rarely a safe bet for success

Re: Concord Cost Sony Over $200 Million, And Didn't Make a Single Cent

Beerheadgamer82

Fairly confident in what PS studios are cooking up for us over the next few years but not Fairgame or Marathon poo off. It was a fairly decent first couple of years 1st party wise on PS5 but the last couple years not so much other than 3rd or 2nd party Stella Blade, SH2 and FF types and some remasters/remakes to fill gaps and all that I dunno really. Obviously Ragnarok, spidey2 and Astrobot are top tier more recently. It's things like Concord multiplayer GaaS 200 million thing which could have been used for a different 1st party IP that is now in hindsight frustrating for many of us on PS5. As much as I don't care for Fairgame or Marathon I just hope they're successful enough to help fund other PS 1st party IP going forward. Can't really be having two more giant flops like Concord with Fairgame and Marathon, the dent would be considerably more massive

Anyways I wasn't ever purchasing this Firewalk Overwatch kinda game but it still sucks regardless for all involved, including us

Re: Poll: One Year Later, How Would You Rate Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PS5?

Beerheadgamer82

I thoroughly enjoyed my time with SM2 from start to finish. Enjoyed the story, enjoyed all the characters personalities, enjoyed all the fights, enjoyed all the swinging from place to place, enjoyed all the weapon gadgets and new wingsuit, enjoyed all the side Quests, and thoroughly enjoyed the Mary Jane missions and her fight with Peter. Thoroughly enjoyed the SM2 sequel just as much as I did with SM1 and MM and that's all that matters to me

Re: 14 More Games Join PS Plus Extra, Premium Next Week

Beerheadgamer82

Seeing how RE1 on Premium hasn't had any trophies added, I'm guessing the same for Dino Crisis, zero trophies. Or pop my Dino Crisis physical disc into PS3. If DC has some trophies at some point and available for seperate purchase I'll just buy it digitally. Dino Crisis 2 with trophies too at some point would be splendid 🦖🦕

Re: Poll: Are You Playing Silent Hill 2?

Beerheadgamer82

@Nei ha nice

Definitely grabbing it soon. Understand SH2 is regarded as the best SH game and I'd agree with that but still a little puzzled as to why they couldn't start with an SH1 remake first as that one is also just as good

Re: State of Play Confirmed for Tomorrow, 20+ PS5, PSVR2 Games Included

Beerheadgamer82

My current personal rule on remasters are if it's a highly enjoyable game to me then I don't mind but most importantly it has to have the £5 or £10 upgrade with it if already own it previously physically digitally or you can shove that £40, £60, £70 remaster up ya a**hole where it belongs. Days Gone and HZD wouldn't mind platting all over again for a small upgrade cost. More on DS2 and release date would be nice

Re: Black Myth: Wukong Becomes Steam's Biggest Ever Single Player Launch

Beerheadgamer82

@riceNpea Bloodborne was my first experience of a Souls game in 2015 or 16. Do remember my first impressions were really good and then a little later like many do on their first time with any Souls game just end up frustrated😆. Granted something only like half a dozen hours with it and that was almost 10 years ago now. If tried again now there's a possibility could get to grips with it a bit more with some patience but my gaming time and huge never ending backlog sometimes has other ideas

Re: What Time Is Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024?

Beerheadgamer82

My eyeballs and earholes will definitely be on it. Not expecting much as usual but it's video game content and stuff, it's not like we get a huge amount of video game related shows. Have nothing else to do around the time of the show too, so why not

The rumoured Death Stranding 2 update would be nice

Re: Scores of Retro PS Plus Premium Titles Upgraded with Platinum Trophies on PS5, PS4

Beerheadgamer82

@TrickyDicky99 yh I know what you mean. It's like if I adored Elden Ring be looking forward to its dlc, yes annoying no trophies but still play the s##t out of it. The trouble with some of the PS1 classics on Premium is I still own some of them physically on the original PS1 console and can just whip those out instead, having new trophies on PS classics there's no need to whip out the PS1. Could even whip out the DS and play Resident Evil Deadly Silence instead of no trophies premium version

Re: Xbox Really Wasn't Happy with PlayStation's Call of Duty Marketing Deal

Beerheadgamer82

Haha what a clown. Full of himself after one really decent Xbox Showcase, meanwhile PS has had plenty of those over the past decade, albeit not so much in recent years. Take away the almost 80 billion spent in the last few years and this Xbox Showcase would have been average at best. PS don't need to purchase huge 3rd party publishers for 80 billion to create a great Showcase
