I’ve always wanted to try to get into this Cold Steel (I think it’s called) series and sequels or whatever, but it feels overwhelming to start. Plus, I know once I begin, they’ll remaster or remake the first game

I’ll buy it when on discount and space it out unlike Valhalla. I don’t think I’ll ever play one of these bloated AC games from start to finish again. So many of the collectibles were just unenjoyable- and I’m one who stupidly loves mindlessly collecting things. Quality over quantity is the best approach

The gaming market is full of huge releases right now like Infinite Wealth, Persona 3 Reload, Helldivers 2, etc. So I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of potential buyers are caught up in other games and will get to Rebirth later. I think the sales will be fine at the end of the day IMO. There’s only so many hours in a day. And a lot of these games lately are 80+ hours like P3R

I haven’t even finished the first one yet. I put it on hold for some other game last year. I want to revisit it though

I tried playing God of War 1 from the PS3 and the action prompts were almost ridiculously impossible. I had to quit despite liking the combat because the game’s streaming wasn’t registering my inputs fast enough. I was so excited to dive into PS3 streaming too since I missed that generation. The experience turned me off from it

@Kidfunkadelic83 1st one is obviously the roughest (still solid though). If you got through and liked it, you’ll like/love 2 & 3. 2 is my favorite. But yeah, life gets busy. I hope down the line you find some time to experience them both!

This would’ve been a Day 1 buy if FF7 Rebirth wasn’t so close to it. Unicorn Overlord looks to be an awesome game.

Mass Effect at that price is a great deal. 3 awesome games for that low price is fantastic!

Received the game, started downloading it and at around 75%, my 20-year old cat suddenly passed away. We were not expecting it. We believe she had a heart attack. Super depressing way to start the day

I’ll take more Persona-esque games any day of the week since the social aspects are unrivaled IMO. There are not really any games/franchises quite like it. I don’t want a carbon copy but if it’s influenced by Persona and it’s an Atlus game, mega pluses for me. I’m sure others don’t share that sentiment which is all good 😎😎😎

I ended up beating the boss legit later on but man, that boss wasn’t fun. Malenia on the other hand, super fun

I have this lined up to be my main Summer game. Probably alongside SMT V and Elden Ring DLC. Excited to play BG3 but want the time to dedicate to it. Congrats to Larian for the 10 million sales!

@andrix9743 after platimum’ing Replicant, I have to agree the trophies were very grindy for some of them. Still love both Automata & Replicant, but that trophy list was a pain

@ShogunRok are there any missable weapons/materia? I’m assuming chapter select is a thing post-game. I’m more meaning like missable “gear” you can’t go back and grab easy

Persona 3 Reload and Foamstars. Finally got to Gold rank in Foamstars.

This will be the first sports game I buy Day 1 since I was a kid. So pumped for this

Jujutsu Kaisen is a great anime IP. Wish they just did something more unique than this

If Foamstars doesn’t die out fast, I think there’s a lot of potential here. Tons of people who are PS only haven’t played Splatoon. So it’s their first feel at a game “similar”. I’m having a blast with it

About the Yakuza games: you said you were watching recaps for some of the games. I’d 100% suggest playing all of them but you said your time is limited. So, I meant that if you didn’t have free time, 3/4/5 are the ones I’d focus more on watching a recap. Still, I 100% think all of the games have value to play. Those are just the most outdated/clunky that can be easily recapped if time is limited.

The mini-games RGG makes are so whacky yet lovable. There’s always something for everyone whether it’s mahjong, karaoke, clan creator, dragon kart, baseball cages, etc. You’ll find a bunch you love when you play them all eventually 😎😎

Infinite Wealth is awesome. Ichiban is an amazing protagonist. He’s the lovable goof compared to the stoic Kiryu. Great contrast IMO. I think the story is as good as it’s ever been. Very long but it pays off. Gameplay is a huge ass improvement over Yakuza 7. It’s much deeper with more job options. Without spoiling anything, if you like Y7, it’s impossible not to love Infinite Wealth

Foamstars and Persona 3 Reload. I never play multiplayer games but I’m loving Foamstars. I’ve never tried Splatoon but I love this. My favorite character to play is Soa but I’m undefeated in rank with Agito (even though I’m ***** with him). Game is addicting so far despite the ***** microtransactions

P3R is great but I don’t want to rush through it

As long as I don’t have to worry about Microsoft trying to buy out a studio I’m in love with (ex. Sega with Atlus & RGG), I’m fine with them moving on from making systems. Although, this obviously doesn’t stop them from buying out other companies It’d be nice to play Bethesda games on release day again!

I’m planning on doing a NG+ run when I platinum it so this is nice! I’ll save it for the summer tho

This State of Play is more for people on the fence or ones leaning no. I really hope the Soap sways a bunch of people into experiencing both Remake/Rebirth or continue onto Rebirth.

I’ve always wanted to try Gears of War so that could be awesome for me. Also, if this means any future Spyro games can come to the PS5, sign me up! That is if they ever make another Spyro 😭😭😭

@Nei yeah, a flashback is the only way it’d make sense. I wouldn’t have been opposed to that. But I think Cliff’s story/role felt “final” in the first game.

Just started Chapter 14 (the finale) of Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Pretty pumped to see how the story unfolds!! It’s been one wild and amazing ride

I will eventually. Still working through Infinite Wealth. After that, it’s probably finishing the last two chapters of Dead Space, starting (but probs not finishing) Persona 3 Reload then FF7 Rebirth. Once those are done, it’s a toss-up between Granblue & Rise of the Ronin (assuming it’s out by the time I finish FF7). Way too many good games to play but I love it

DS2 looks absolutely bonkers yet gorgeous. So pumped for it!! I’m sure Mr. Kojima will pull off a banger with it once again

I cleaned up about 450 GB on my internal storage in anticipation of Infinite Wealth, P3R and FF7 Rebirth. Probably should be fine. So pumped for Rebirth but it’s going to take a lot to dethrone Infinite Wealth for my GOTY with how great it is

Might take a break on Infinite Wealth and play this for a few days on Saturday. Probably not but I have it preordered regardless. Pumped for it though!!
