If I was a Fairgame$ developer I would be paying close attention to the whole Concord situation. And making changes while I still had the chance.

People keep saying they feel sorry for the developers but let's be honest. They have managed to get nearly a decade of full-time employment out of this project. That's a pretty good reward given the poor quality of the game they eventually produced. Firewalk deserve to get shut down, frankly.

This game is like the polar opposite of No Man's Sky, where the developers release a game which is almost universally loved at first and then release update after update which gradually erodes player goodwill over time.

I've been playing original Space Marine multiplayer on PC to get warmed up for this. I'm really looking forward to playing the sequel now.
(Yes, there are people still playing Space Marine and yes, they are all insanely good at it 😂)

This is sounding more and more like Mass Effect Andromeda with elves.

They really need to stop charging us for the privilege of using our own internet connections for multiplayer and make it free again like it was on the PS3.

I will be waiting until the game is finished until I play it, i.e. in a year's time when the Game of the Year edition with all the DLC comes out for a fraction of the launch price. Can't wait!!

I've just started Dragons Dogma 1 on PC (runs very well at 4k/60fps) and OMG what an amazing game.
I'm looking forward to playing Dragons Dogma 2 in about 5 years when it runs properly.

Decent game, doesn't run very well on PS5. Sounds like one to get on PC then.

PSVR2 being confirmed was one of the main reasons I got a PS5 in the first place, after loving the PSVR1 so much. Yet, one year after its release I still haven't bought one because I haven't seen enough good games to justify it.
Hopefully some more get announced for this year, otherwise I might look into the Quest 3 instead.

I've played this on PC and it's one if the best X-Com type games around.
It'll depend on how the controls are implemented for the PlayStation version, though. I've never understood why they couldn't add mouse/keyboard compatibility for these sorts of games, the USB ports are there.

Good, now they can concentrate their efforts on Total War Warhammer 3 instead of this rubbish which had 'flop' written all over it.

It'll be the same as it was with the GTA V PS5 patch: they'll release it as a 'new' version for £40 when it's the same code with the settings turned up.

I don't even remember what was game of the year last year, so I don't really care either way.
I do think that having two games of this quality released in the same year and struggling to choose between them is a good 'problem' to have though 😊

If they did create a PS5 patch, they would sell it to us as a new game as they did with GTA 5.

If it doesn't run at a minimum 60fps then it basically doesn't run. 30fps is just not acceptable any more, especially when I'm used to playing on pc at 300fps for shooters.
Mind, Gotham Nights and Plague Tale: Requiem run like **** on pc too so it's not the PS5.

Meh. I got a PS5 for PSVR2 and I'm looking forward to that so much. But an Xbox Series X and Gamepass for everything else is looking like the best option by far.

Given that we're still waiting for a patch to fix Bloodbourne's framerate issues I won't be holding my breath.

Nah, Total War:Warhammer 3 came out this week so that'll keep me busy for the next thousand hours or so. I'll pick up the game of the year edition when it's cheap.

I really enjoyed UFC3, but UFC4 didn't look different enough to be worth buying, so I'll give that a go.

I got my PS2 out of the loft one afternoon during lockdown and played a bunch of PS1 and PS2 games. Syphon Filter, Vagrant Story, Onimusha and a load of others I had great memories of playing back in the day.
The PS2 went back in the loft the same day as sadly the reality didn't match the nostalgia. Backwards compatibility for older games is something I'd probably use once and never again and Sony know it.

The prospect of PSVR2 is the main reason I went for a PS5 rather than going the Xbox Series X/Gamepass route.
PSVR1 was an absolute gamechanger for me in terms of immersion etc.

Yay, the open world, live-service Splinter Cell we were all clamouring for!!

They simply thought they could get away with it. Rockstar, CD Projekt Red. There just are no decent games companies anymore.
