A brilliant game that deserves the hype. I urge anyone who loves the Witcher to do themselves a favour and read the books! They're incredible and well worth your time.

@tallythwack Not conflicted at all, i meant that the kind of people who say the things I quoted are still invested in a series that they believe hasn't been good for 20 years which is bizzare to me. Maybe Final Fantasy hasn't been as good as the golden days of 6-10 but even its lows are still good games. Some fans will try to make you believe that anything after 10 is pure trash which just isn't the case.

@Happymoogle I think they're implying that FF7R isn't a "full game" because of it being in 3 parts. Despite the fact that FF7R was more than big enough to warrant it's full price tag.

Not repeating the mistakes of 15 then. I loved 15 but it sure had it's drawbacks so it's good to see them learning from that.

If 16 is as good as I hope though then extra content in the future sure won't hurt!

Didn't read the whole article as I'm trying to go in blind as much as possible but everything I've seen so far looks incredible. Between this and 7 remake it's a great time to be a fan

@tallythwack If Final Fantasy fans aren't in every comment section to do with the series saying something along the lines of "ThIs IsNt A TrUe FiNaL fAnTaSy" or "fInAl FaNtAsY X wAs ThE lAsT gOOd FInAl FaNTasy!" then somethings seriously wrong.

I took my time and still got the platinum in under 100 hours so it's not the worst. I think the most tedious platinum I ever achieved was Tales of Xillia 2. That one was a real pain in the arse but I had fun and that's what matters in the end I guess!

Finally. A Ys game that doesn't look like regurgitated doodoo. I'll have to finally give this series a go I think.

Hogwarts Legacy for sure, still playing it very slowly because I want it to last as long as possible. As for this month it's looking like Wo Long for me. Its absolutely amazing.

Awesome, I'll be getting this eventually but I'm way too busy playing Hogwarts and trying to get the platinum for Dead Space. Atomic Heart and Like A Dragon are out next week too.

I played this game on the weekend as I got it early and oh boy, I didn't expect it to be so terrible. The plot is nonsense and it's gameplay can't even carry it because that sucks too.

This would be amazing! I miss Ramza and Delita dearly.

Looking forward to it honestly, I miss this janky era of gaming where developers weren't afraid to experiment.

Edit: I got the game early and I take it all back. I wasn't prepared for how unbelievably bad this game is.

@KidBoruto Yeah I started playing Final Fantasy when I was 5 years old so I've played them all, never finished 1-3 though. 9 is another one of my favourites.

It does seem as though he's trying to remake the ideas he had for versus within Kingdom Hearts and I'm all for it.

Could they stop announcing games years and years before release? It gets tiresome seeing a cool trailer just for it to be like "coming in 2035!" especially with how games are today with delays and patches post launch. Probably see this game in 2027.

@KidBoruto Man I miss FF13. Still the only one waiting for a remaster. I would love to see more KH games and it's definitely a trend for KH to have lots of spinoffs between mainline games but I feel like we would've seen something by now.

I hope I'm wrong though because a Verum game would be very cool indeed. Pretty much what Versus 13 would've been back before it became 15.

@KidBoruto FF16 looks incredible, it's gonna be a good year for Final Fantasy. Yeah I would love to see Kingdom hearts in 2024 but 2025 is more realistic like you say. The most recent trailer was beautiful though so it has me excited for sure.

@KidBoruto Same here! Honestly never understood the hate for Kingdom Hearts, it's really not as convoluted as people make it out to be IMO. Can't wait for KH4 as well, there's lots to come for fans like us 😁

A damn shame, it's a really great game that does a lot right. A sequel would've been great to improve on what it didn't do too well but now that looks unlikely. I guess this is why developers are so afraid of experimenting.

I'll definitely give this a go, I loved Monster Hunter World but was deeply disappointed in Rise so hopefully Wild Hearts can deliver.

Would love to see them go with one of the original idea's set between metal gear solid 2 and 4 when Raiden first became a cyber ninja. Failing that I would like to see a remake and a sequel but I'm probably hoping too much.

Midnight sun's was a pleasent surprise, really enjoyed the 100 hours i spent on it.

Pre-ordered as soon as I knew it was a thing. It was the first horror game I ever played and an all time favourite of mine so its great to be able to relive my childhood trauma. So far I don't understand the complaints about the visuals, game looks great.

After midnight sun's and fire emblem I'm definitely down for more, February's already packed though.

Edit: For anyone who's interested in the physical version, it comes out in April. That's when I'll be getting it for sure, it's a bit quieter then.

This was on my list but with so many games coming out, this one was sacrificed to make room. Got fire emblem and dead space to play this month, sorry forspoken.

I want to so I can support future Remasters but this really should've been a different tales game, like Abyss or Legendia or something. I already have symphonia on the ps3 and this doesn't do anything different.
