Hey, just wanted to know the official source you guys got the $9.99 info from, as I can't seem to find it anywhere. Tried Capcom's website, the PS and Steam stores and so on.

I only want to make sure the price is accurate. If so, that's a pretty reasonable amount for what will probably be a rather short campaign.

Eh, truth be told I'm more interested in third party games at this point anyway. When it comes to PS Studios the only thing that'd get me really excited would be a second Tsushima game.

I redeemed them for what it's worth, but I don't think I'll ever play them. Generation Zero is the likeliest for me to pick up I guess, but it's like comparing a 1% chance to a 0.1%.

Chaos;Child back on sale just in time, I finished Chaos;Head like a couple days ago. Already bought that, looking forward to it.

There's a few more things for cheap that I'm eyeing, but these discounts last until the end of the month, so no need to rush.

I don't really care to be honest, I typically have my phone close at hand while I'm on my PS5 anyway. And PS Stars is something I only use about twice a month (if that), just to get some points for opening a game or two.

For $50 (and I assume 50€ in my case) that's gonna be a pass. Make it 20€ in the future and I'll bite, as I do want to play RDR1 at some point - but I'm not paying nearly full price for a straight port of a 13-year-old game.

I don't get why people can't just naturally realize that, like any other developer, From Software can and does make different types of games.

My favorite colors are red and black, so that controller actually looks pretty good to me. If I ever need a replacement I might try to get one of those.

@dskatter Actually had no idea the game had been rather heavily censored for the Noah release, so I appreciate the heads-up and will install the patch. Thankfully I'm super early into the game (basically the parts where Takumi's with Yua) so I won't have missed out on much.

Last year ended with the tragic news of this developer declaring insolvency, so I'll definitely be supporting this game at launch instead of waiting for a sale. The people who made Steins;Gate deserve to keep making what they like for a long, long time.

On a tangential note I'm actually playing Chaos;Head on Steam right now, with the intention of buying Chaos;Child on PS later if I liked the first game. Gotta catch up on the dev's other stuff.

The voice acting reminded me of Commodore Perry's episodes in Gag Manga Biyori, with the same kind of super stereotypical exaggerated accent and all. Not that anyone will know what I'm talking about.

I see nothing wrong. These are Roy, Chan Liao, Lucky and Keimi from Alley Brawler just the way I remember them.

I find it a little weird that the narrative is so coy about something as important as the missing Dominant of Water and the missing Eikon (called 'Leviathan the Lost' exactly once in a throwaway line), and yet apparently no additional storyline was planned for that. I mean, if they didn't plan to go into that topic at length, at least a couple lore entries would have been nice.

Similarly, it's weird that in the entirety of Valisthea there wasn't even a single NPC belonging to Jill's northern tribe. Not even a minor sidequest to kind of address that part of the setting - nothing.

And to be clear these things are weird because of how detailed everything else about the game's lore is and how obvious it is that the devs cared about that aspect, especially with stuff like the chronological history map. If the game felt slapdash narratively I wouldn't even point these out.

Haven't watched the music video yet, but I enjoyed the song when I listened to it during the credits.

Good for attendees and such. But as someone who's only interested in announcements, I expect it to be as 'small' as ever in that regard.

Yong has a good voice. Whether it's a good voice for a hard-boiled badass like Kiryu is a different matter. The nasal aspect of it alone kind of already clashes with Kiryu's whole image.

I don't play these games without their original audio and I don't intend to ever start, though, so it doesn't affect me either way. Hopefully more people will warm up to his performance when they hear it in full I guess.

Looking forward to this since I first saw it, Q1 2024 would be great.

Four fifths into the story or so, a solid 9 so far. Could have even been a 10 if area exploration/loot and sidequests were better.
