Funny thing, in Europe/UK they are only releasing physical versions for the Switch, but in US they have PS4 and XBOX versions also.
Will import a US PS4 version when cheaper, a lot cheaper.

Capcom keeping the PS4 alive with cross gen releases. I think it's not releasing on Xbox 1, just PS4.

They duped me with a 20% PS+ discount yesterday cause they knew my subscription would expire soon. Should have waited for the 25% Days of Play discount.
Anyway, 40€ isn't bad for a year of Plus.

Would have been some good news. As others have said, Sony needs some western RPG first party studios. MS already has Bethesda and Obsidian.

They also anounced Dragon Quest Monsters, which is sadly not coming to Playstation system. I'm seing a lot of hype for that one, sadly I won't be able to play it on PS4/5.

At some point, maybe in 2026-2027 at the start of PS6 gen, these live service fails will implode and then heads will roll, probably the 2 at the top, even though I have nothing against them, like many have in these comment sections.
I'd say that will be the period when they'll shift back to single player games only.

@UltimateOtaku91 Agree, but only PS4, no PS5, versions for Persona 3 and 4. If this remake is next gen only, they may pull a similar stunt.
Remember, MS blocked a PS5 version of Psychonauts 2 from being made also.

Might be exclusive to Xbox as some other people mentioned, why else would a series asociated with PS be shown at an Xbox showcase?

@RonnieL I think people would buy it. It's a 40€ game where I'm from, but releasing so close to FF is a bad idea.

Then they'll probably get sales only on the Xbox/PC versions, as most PS players will get FF.

As I already said somewhere else, SEGA games go on sale very fast at retail, second only to Ubisoft and EA.
Also, many people who buy games day 1 trade it on reseller sites after finishing it, so they may recoup up to 80% of its price.

Sony should buy this studio before someone else gets them. I don't think they made a bad game so far and they have always worked closely with Playstation.

@Cookiecadet May be good but I'm not into make your own adventure in an endles open world anyway. Much prefer a focused experience. Would totaly jump on a Switch 2 if I can play Xenoblade 3 and SMT 5 with 60 fps at least, let's forget about 4K. That is far resching dream.

I still wouldn't buy a Switch for it.
The only games that would make me buy a Switch are Xenoblade 3 and SMT 5, if it they would run in 4K 60 fps.

I don't think it's thanks to the PS versions. Every youtuber and their mother was saying to avoid the PS4 version, even if it was perfecly playable, just that Switch got some extra love from NISA.

@Beerheadgamer82, An Oled Switch is almost the same price as a digital PS5 anyway, so there isn't a problem there. The next Switch will probably pe 400$ anyway.
I wouldn't want them to compete in this space anyway, cause PS would die for sure.
They are basicaly keeping the competition alive by bringing underpowered hardware.

@Beerheadgamer82, Imaging if Nintendo actually made a console capable of running games like Resident Evil, Elden Ring, Cyberpunk, Tales of Arise, modern Final Fantasy, etc, added to the 1st party catalogue, it would surely kill all competition.

The people saying that Xbox sales are weak in Japan. I have a feeling it's intentional by MS. They're probably not sending stock at all.

Great news. That version on the Miles Morales Ultimate edition was just a code. Will buy a physical copy when it reaches 30€.

@belmont, Romanian store Altex, but they are now sold out. I guess they just wanted to get rid of the stock to make room for new games like Star Wars.
Funny thing is I asked Square Enix a week earlier on tweeter to discount the game to 30€. It's like somebody is actually reading the tweets, though I doubt it.

Whatever people say, it may at least be worth the 22€ I paid for a brand new copy, right?
Also, this DLC must have been cooking for a long time to still be releasing after the bad reception.

Those are not bad numbers for Xbox considering half the sold consoles are digital only Series S systems.

The only games I buy new and full priced are jrpgs, mainly NISA and Gust games, because of limited supply. The rest are wait for price cut. I got Forspoken for 22€ brand new last month, and second hand copies of GOW R and Horizon 2 for 50€ combined.

@NEStalgia You have to pit. No car can go 15 laps on fuel map 1. Maybe on fuel map 6.

@NEStalgia The group 2 Super GT cars last longer, 7-8 laps. The best on fuel is the Mazda 787B Gr1, (10 laps) but you have to undertune it hard to be under 800 pp, and put balast. GR3 cars will last just 4 to 5 laps. That is on fuel map 1.

Another overrated FromSoft game incoming. The way people talked about Elden Ring, I thought it would be the second coming of Jesus. It wasn't, but it was a good game.

@NEStalgia You can't lose the bonus on Spa and Sardegna, unless you overtake during yellow flag. Other penalties won't affect it.
I recommend using a Group 2 car, the old Super GT cars, not the new ones, or the Audi DTM.

@ORO_ERICIUS, the Spa 1 hour race is my favorite credit grind event, 1.5 mil credits in 1 hour. Sardegna is also good, but more borring.
Just need to be careful to not overtake during yellow flag, the only way to lose the bonus.

Might give Grid Legends a go, if it's at least as entertaining as Dirt 5, I may buy a physical copy after.

@wiiware I know about PS5 but I can't avoid it, sadly. My phone is made in Vietnam, though, Galaxy S10.

@TripleKing333 If I can avoid the made in China products, i will. There is a trend anyway of moving production line from there. Samsung moved factories, at least for the products I own, TVs and phones.

Looks good but it's made in China, even if the publisher is a western company. That's why I won't buy a copy.

@Anti-Matter Don't bet on another R&C this gen. It's probably not a big seller, at least not compared to Spider Man and God of War. Have a feeling Wolverine will be a big hit, unless they screw it hard.

I am sure if Sony gave them more development time for The Order, they would have come up with a more complete game but it was rushed to have something near the release of the PS4.

@naruball He's kinda right about "the message" being imposed in these games. Imho opinion, the western civilisation is very accepting of any sex orientation already.
They should push other "messages" in games, most important one is to make peace, not war. Killing eachother is a far worse offender to humanity.
