I am glad we saved the kids, but it is a shame those adult and pre-adult workers at the mine factories are out of a job at the moment.

I really wanted the mines, but I (correctly) figured saving the children would be better because the kids would grow up to be future Helldivers.

I rarely pre-order games, but this is the first non-God of War game I've pre-ordered in a long time that didn't come with a statue.

@Khayl, the children were saved and Arrowhead made a large donation to the Save the Children charity! There should be an article about this, so more people are aware of how awesome Arrowhead is.

Can you? With the exception of Bungie (which I believe was a knee-jerk reaction to Microsoft's destructive spending spree) most, if not all, the studios PlayStation buys were cultivated and grown by PlayStation.

Imagine believing Microsoft made Doom simply because they bought a studio that was already making Doom. Ha. Do you believe they made Minecraft, too?

It's an incredible update! It felt like Christmas because the PS5, Helldivers 2, and the Pulse Elite headset all got improvements today.

Space Marine 2 and Astro Bot are my most anticipated games left to release this year. I will definitely be getting those, but will likely also get Mechwarrior 5: Clans, Lego Horizon Adventures, and Starship Troopers Extermination.

Thank goodness they improved PlayStation Link. I hated how my Pulse Elite would randomly disconnect about once every dozen hours of play or so.

I am very excited for this game! We just know it'll be great!

Nicely done. I'm looking forward to playing Rise of the Ronin, but I have a few games standing in the way first.

Sumo Digital did such a great job with Sackboy. I was saddened when Sony didn't pick them up.

Those sick children are future Helldivers. I hope the community saves them. We will get the mines eventually.

It's nevee too late, but you'll miss a lot of stuff at the beginning that was vaulted off. I started with The Witch Queen and I loved Destiny 2.

I don't typically pre-order any games or buy them full price (both because you get a better price and the game is in better shape), but I had to vote with my wallet on this one and I pre-ordered. I love Astro Bot and want more.

Lego games sell well on the the Switch, so I guess I can understand that part of it, but I truly expected the game to be developed outside of PlayStation Studios and be multi-platform. Since the game is co-developed by PlayStation Studios, there must be something with the Lego license preventing them from making the game a PlayStation exclusive, but I'm sure PlayStation wouldn't budge on the Xbox part and since games generally don't sell well there, anyway, that was an easy concession to get. This is just informed speculation, of course.

Well, that's a very easy pre-order. I have full faith in Team Asobi and I'm voting with my wallet for this game because I want MORE!

I hate the narrative that Xbox is being generous because Bethesda and ABK games come to PlayStation. That's the status quo without "Gaming for All" Phil's meddling. How very nice of Xbox to port Starfield to PlayStation where it would have been already if they didn't decide to cancel the PlayStation version.

I am very happy about this. Helldivers 2 is awesome, so more of it is always welcome.

Halo Reach is my favorite Halo game. The Master Chief Collection is one of the actual Xbox games I bought (on Steam) and I did so proudly. I was saying from day one The Master Chief Collection was an incredible value and an even better one when on sale. I won't buy this game because they already remastered it and I own it via the collection, but I encourage everyone to get the Master Chief Collection when that inevitably comes. You won't regret it if you like FPS games.

This is a smart business model, just like the Helldivers one. Having a game be free-to-play may be good for pumping up player numbers, but those games are microtransaction hells. The Helldivers 2 business model is generous and one I actually WANT to give money to. No $20 Fortnite and Call of Duty skins. You get actual content and it's $10.

I played almost all the other Lego games with my young daughter. I'm looking forward to this one. I really like the Horizon series. My daughter has never played Horizon, but she has seen me play it and thinks the robot dinosaurs are awesome.

Because Microsoft backed themselves into a corner with Game Pass. Increasingly, you'll see some developers not bring their titles to Xbox unless they get paid to do so (like with Game Pass) since they know they don't sell many copies. It certainly seems like that is the case with Square-Enix.

The Helldivers 2 business model is an excellent one to follow.

I like The Game Awards. Summer Game Fest is negligible.

I am one of those divers that definitely expects something bad to happen. I just know either the Illuminate are coming through that blackhole or the blackhole sucking in all those Terminid spores will result in another infestation of Terminids wherever the blackhole deposits them.

I am very excited for this game. I hope folks put their money where their mouth is and the game is a huge success!!!

I love your name, but I have no idea what you're talking about. PlayStation has so many exclusives. Rebirth, Rise of the Ronin, Helldivers 2, and Stellar Blade so far. Astro Bot and Concord later this year plus all the stuff I didn't mention.

Whether we know what the various first party studios are working on or not, they are working on things and they will come out.
