It's nevee too late, but you'll miss a lot of stuff at the beginning that was vaulted off. I started with The Witch Queen and I loved Destiny 2.

I don't typically pre-order any games or buy them full price (both because you get a better price and the game is in better shape), but I had to vote with my wallet on this one and I pre-ordered. I love Astro Bot and want more.

People are crazy. Whether Sony shows us what games are coming or not, they are coming.

I am definitely looking forward to this. I am disappointed there are no AAA Power Rangers games, though.

Lego games sell well on the the Switch, so I guess I can understand that part of it, but I truly expected the game to be developed outside of PlayStation Studios and be multi-platform. Since the game is co-developed by PlayStation Studios, there must be something with the Lego license preventing them from making the game a PlayStation exclusive, but I'm sure PlayStation wouldn't budge on the Xbox part and since games generally don't sell well there, anyway, that was an easy concession to get. This is just informed speculation, of course.

Well, that's a very easy pre-order. I have full faith in Team Asobi and I'm voting with my wallet for this game because I want MORE!

I hate the narrative that Xbox is being generous because Bethesda and ABK games come to PlayStation. That's the status quo without "Gaming for All" Phil's meddling. How very nice of Xbox to port Starfield to PlayStation where it would have been already if they didn't decide to cancel the PlayStation version.

I am very happy about this. Helldivers 2 is awesome, so more of it is always welcome.

Halo Reach is my favorite Halo game. The Master Chief Collection is one of the actual Xbox games I bought (on Steam) and I did so proudly. I was saying from day one The Master Chief Collection was an incredible value and an even better one when on sale. I won't buy this game because they already remastered it and I own it via the collection, but I encourage everyone to get the Master Chief Collection when that inevitably comes. You won't regret it if you like FPS games.

This is a smart business model, just like the Helldivers one. Having a game be free-to-play may be good for pumping up player numbers, but those games are microtransaction hells. The Helldivers 2 business model is generous and one I actually WANT to give money to. No $20 Fortnite and Call of Duty skins. You get actual content and it's $10.

I played almost all the other Lego games with my young daughter. I'm looking forward to this one. I really like the Horizon series. My daughter has never played Horizon, but she has seen me play it and thinks the robot dinosaurs are awesome.

Because Microsoft backed themselves into a corner with Game Pass. Increasingly, you'll see some developers not bring their titles to Xbox unless they get paid to do so (like with Game Pass) since they know they don't sell many copies. It certainly seems like that is the case with Square-Enix.

The Helldivers 2 business model is an excellent one to follow.

If I can pull myself away from Helldivers 2 long enough to play this, I'm sure the game is in amazing shape now.

I like The Game Awards. Summer Game Fest is negligible.

I am one of those divers that definitely expects something bad to happen. I just know either the Illuminate are coming through that blackhole or the blackhole sucking in all those Terminid spores will result in another infestation of Terminids wherever the blackhole deposits them.

I am very excited for this game. I hope folks put their money where their mouth is and the game is a huge success!!!

I love your name, but I have no idea what you're talking about. PlayStation has so many exclusives. Rebirth, Rise of the Ronin, Helldivers 2, and Stellar Blade so far. Astro Bot and Concord later this year plus all the stuff I didn't mention.

Whether we know what the various first party studios are working on or not, they are working on things and they will come out.

Are you sure the game is $70? If so, is it going to receive regular free updates that would be microtransactions in other games?

This game looks totally uninteresting. If I were going to play an online PVP game, I think I'd choose Concord over this, assuming Concord is better than Overwatch, which is admittedly a low bar to clear.

I am the same way. I will pay $10 to upgrade the game I already have, but I am not buying it again. I already can play it on my PS5. I love the game and recommend folks play it.

Both companies. PlayStation is successful because they have been giving gaming fans great games since day one with the first PlayStation. Xbox is not successful because they've been doing the opposite for far too long.

Both companies have sown those seeds and are reaping the benefits or consequences.

"Sensible" is not the word I'd use. Bethesda used to be profitable before Xbox got a hold of them. We can expect ABK's profits to drop as well as the Xbox association and Game Pass take their toll. At pre-acquisition ABK profitability, it'll take 20+ years to make back that ~$70B. It'll likely take 30+ post-acquisiton, but the purchase of ABK got the attention of the shareholders and they want their $70B back faster, hastening the demise of Xbox as we know it.

For a narrative, are we supposed to also pretend the game won't be full price on Xbox and PC, too? What a strange thing it is for games to be sold at full price.

"Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on the membership service day one and full price on PS5, PS4."

I have no interest in AEW: Fight Forever, but the other two games in the essential tier are appealing. I've played Streets of Rage 4 before, but I'll give it another go. The SpongeBob game looks fun.
