It's the standard Sony tax thinking they are a premium brand, just like they do with TV's, cell phones, cameras, etc. They are just like or want to be like Apple.

The only boss I could not beat without the help of summons from other players. Hardest and most unfair From boss ever. Malenia was a walk in the park compared to this jerk and his little boy.

Good game but nothing is like Ori or Mario. The added plus 2 because the PS5 needed it.

I feel bad for all the developers that poured their heart and soul into this game. I really hope nothing bad comes of this. With that being said, this game is DOA. What amazes me is that the tech press is so sympathetic towards this game in general. If this was a game published and funded by MS, the fitchforks would have been relentless. I just wish there was more balance and less bias.

Finally killed Radahn and the little boy last weekend. Hardest and most unfair boss in From history. Did a speedrun to start the replay of the dlc again. Getting fatigued now with ER and going to take a break. Getting back into GOT mixed with some Starfield. The new rover is awesome. I ended up accidentally running over and killing people in the main city and now everyone is trying to kill me. Also, it is college football time here in the States. Going to watch my favorite team, Penn State at noon EST. Go Nittany Lions!

@NathanKang Have you played on the S? Do you have information to back up your claim or just spouting nonsense? I have an X, S and PS5 and it is not a crap piece of tech. The switch is not as powerful as a phone. Is that a crap piece of tech?

I'm not bothered by digital only since I never had a big library of physical games. I am worried about the price though. I am thinking at least 600 USD. I have no need for a new PS5 Pro and will wait for the next generation.

@Almost_Ghostly Sounds like my son. Wanted an Xbox, never played it. Wanted a PS5, never played it. Wanted a gaming laptop, plays it all the time, for friggin Roblox. I have to be honest though, I wanted the Xbox and PS5 so I am enjoying them myself.

This game is DOA. If this was MS, the pitchforks and media would have been out in full force to rub the salt in the wound. IGN, Eurogamer, this site saying give the game a chance just because it is Sony. The media bias is unbelievable. For god’s sakes, Redfall had more players than this game.

Xbox doesn't owe any explanation to Playstation. Why would anyone on here think that they do.

I hope to finish Shadow of the Erdtree this weekend. I have been stuck on that rat ***** Consort Radahn. I went back to the haligtree to fight Malenia to see the difference in difficulty. I killed her on the 2nd try. Radahn is the hardest boss at least to me in any From game. I need to finish this so I can get back to GOT. I also just purchased Forza 4 so I will probably relax and play that as well in between throwing my controller after losing to Radahn again. And finally there will be Mario Kart with the kids.

Was playing GOT for the first time before Shadow of the Erdtree came out. Need to get back into it. The setting is amazing. However, the combat is a little janky and it does feel like an Ubisoft game. It is a lot more relaxing than Elden Ring which will be a nice change of pace.

Would be a day one buy for me if I did not have such a backlog. Will of course get it on sale at some point. Not sure I agree that Ubisoft does not have the same polish and visuals as PS Studios cut scenes. I always found Ubisoft to have some of if not the best graphics in the industry IMO.

Steam seems to think differently. Let's not turn this into a hit piece article to make Concord look better than it is because Sony published it.

Some of you do not understand exactly how much Americans love college football plus the fact that this game has not released in many years. College football fans are some of the most passionate fan bases. The buzz around this game in the US was/is huge. If they are willing to pay for it, so be it. I am a huge college football fan with Penn State being my favorite team. The stadium holds 107,000 people and is one of the most fun experiences you could have at any sporting event. With all of that being said, there is no way in hell I personally would pay $100 for any game (outside of Elden Ring). I will wait for a sale or play on EA play next year.

On all platforms, not just PS5, sans switch. Just putting that out here because it is not an exclusive to the PS5. People should know that. And this article, like all others from gaming journalists, should mention other platforms.

@Odium Good stuff. That hippo was ridiculous. I am now trying to beat Commander Gaius. Part of my problem is I am doing the DLC on NG+7, where the health pool of the bosses is bonkers. It is my own fault for playing Elden Ring that many times but it is my favorite game of all time. I am level 422 and am still getting destroyed. Loving every minute of it.

@WhiteRabbit That is impressive. I struggled so much with Rellana that I almost gave up. The blasphemous blade works great on the Putrescent Knight (or fire in general).

@WhiteRabbit Surprisingly I beat this guy on the first try. Rellana on the other hand took me at least 25 tries. Same with that damn Golden Hippo.

Shadow of the Erdtree is without a doubt the hardest content From has ever made. I have played and beat every one of their games. I absolutely love it. There are ways to make it easier. Some bosses you can summon up to 3 people. The scadutree fragments really help as well. I understand that it can be too much for some people but for me it is great after beating some of these bosses (ie Renalla after 20 times).

8 out of 10. Base game. 9 out of 10. Demons Souls Remake 10 out of 10. This is a joke. I understand this is a PlayStation site but come on. I played the demons souls remake and it was unbelievable. But it doesn’t hold a candle to Elden Ring. Is this just to pacify those that worship a box? This review and Eurogamer are ridiculous. Liam man, what is the deal?

I am level 420 and I still get whacked by bosses and certain enemies. Darn rune Bears and that nasty bear in Caelid outside the river well.

It doesn't matter how many consoles they sell if they are barely making any money. Revenue and operating don't matter if they have an extremely low profit margin.
