The launch state of the game really hurt the experience for me. I didn't finish it until last month where the performance was up to where it should be but I couldn't help feeling disappointed by something I was initially very hyped for.

Whenever I see low reviews from sites with these sorts of names, I automatically dismiss them as they're usually trying to be 'different' and 'edgy'.

This is by far the most impressive remake Capcom has done. Resident Evil 4 remake was excellent, but resident evil 2 felt like a whole new game. And Resident Evil 3 make was...y'know.

I don't know if I'd prefer one Dualsense edge or another 3 regular dualsense controllers in different colours

I feel like this game is definitely worth a punt now. Especially as it's going for around £15 on eBay.

These look cool but I don't really see the need for them over my pulse 3D headphones.

I see earbuds as more of an 'on the go' thing. If it needs a USB transceiver as well it probably won't work with my phone which is a deal breaker for me.

But it barely runs on PS5

Still haven't tried Helldivers or know anything about what it is. Might have to give it a blast and see if 2 will be added to my list

Why does no one like the beep?

For me the PS5 beep signifies the end of a working / parenting day and the beginning of free time

Feels like the whole year has been stacked and now it's slowing down for the rest of the year whereas usually it's the other way around. July has been a great month to catch up on games and so will August. Then it'll be MK1, Cyberpunk, Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2 and Avatar to round out the rest of the year. Good stuff.

I keep holding off on replaying this game because I want to wait for this supposed remaster.

Also waiting on a 60fps patch for RDR2...

Yeah, the art style makes it a no for me. Looks like a free mobile game.

If they'd gone with a pixel art style, I might have been interested but this looks like a very throwaway game

Played through the whole game and it was a complete chore. Just as unfunny as Rick and Morty as well.

@Ashcrapper I tend to look at user review scores now over critic review scores (with the exception of games that have pretty clearly been review bombed).

It's currently sitting at a 6.0 on Metacritic which I feel is pretty accurate taking into account the performance issues, bugs and crashes. Aside from all that, it's just not a very interesting story to me and I played through the first game 3 times.

I might actually my copy that's been sitting on the shelf for over 2 months now.

In all seriousness though, I think Capcom deserve a bit of a rest. They've been releasing bangers all over the place for several years. I'm ok to wait for Pragmata. I hope we get some sprinklings of re-releases and remasters while we wait though

Haven't had PS+ for 6 months and have no reason to re-sub

I find it mental that this game is getting positive reviews with the glaring obvious technical issues it's having. In its current state even if the gameplay and story were amazing (which they're not so far), this game should be sitting at around a 6

Basically, never pre order games. Pay full price and get an unfinished game or wait a few months, pick it up cheaper and get the patched version and have a more enjoyable experience.

I pre-ordered it and massively regret that decision now. Game was clearly still not ready and performs terribly on PS5.

I sacked off the platinum on Forbidden West. Far too many unfun activities to undertake in order to get it. Zero Dawn was a far more fun platinum to get.

I'm playing Forbidden West at the moment with the initial intention to jump straight into Burning Shores but theres no way I can play any more for quite a while after this. I'm so burnt out by all the montonous side quests.

Boy, does this game outstay it's welcome.

@Kidfunkadelic83 Monster Boy is so good. Some pretty harsh difficulty spikes at times but well worth sticking with

At this point, the only thing stopping Square Enix from being Sony exclusive is the Switch. There's a lot of support there still but eventually, they will probably want to move away from outdated hardware once they've put all their retro games on it.

Well the whole industry has been disappointed by Bobby boy's behaviour and subsequent coverups. He's just mad because his big fat pay day has been delayed.

Weird how they're going straight to 3. They should just do a HD remaster of Twin Snakes and then move on to 2 and 3.

I think Sony just needs to accept that the Activision Blizzard deal is going to go through now. They don't want to find themselves losing out on exclusivity deals elsewhere as a result of all of this.

Well up for this game. Having been to Disney World last year and going on Flight of Passage and then watching Way of Water at the cinema, I'm a self confessed, unashamed Avatar fanboy now.

This was such an unnecessary grind, bit it wasn't that bad

Definitely checking this out when it drops as it's seemingly the only Castlevania content in the horizon. Unless those rumours are true...

DMCV is amazing but as a lineup...let's just say I'm glad I downgraded to essential.

I didn't find it fun from the get go. Pushed through and disliked it more and more. By the end there wasn't a single thing I liked about it so it's getting a pass from me.

@Shepherd_Tallon Fair enough. I'm usually on board with Square Enix games but I just didn't enjoy anything about the demo. Up for giving it another go if it reviews well.

@Rob3008 Play the demo. Although I think the demo has hurt the game massively because no one seems to have had a good impression from it

@riceNpea That's exactly the same for me. I had both Plus and Now on a good deal and it was merged into Premium. I only played maybe 3 games since it was launched so it was a no brainer to downgrade and save half the money per month

My PS5 has always been flat because....kids.
