It's a 9 to me. My personal Game of the Year.
Story, pacing, Characters and voice acting are topnotch.
Also the OST are pure brilliance. Probably one of the best soundtracks in gaming history.
Improved gameplay. Especially, the combat got better. Also the puzzles, which were already good in the previous installment, got better.
I really hope for another sequel.
Let's hope Microsoft ain't acquiring them.

I just checked their Homepage ( a really nice one btw). Their latest game was Blood and Truth in 2019. Been almost 4 years. This game hopefully comes out soon.

Weird way to announce this. It seems like the rumor of Sonys for October planned showcase being delayed is getting realler almost daily now.
Oh btw it fits to the leaked docoument that it's the PS5/PC Gaas called Camden. Wonder if the rest of the leaks are true too then.

A Plague Tale Requiem is my GotY. Glad it's charting while being next gen only.
I've got it digitally and I'm optimistic its going to reflect positive on the PS store charts, as it's up there in the most downloaded games, for days now, on the PS Store.

2 and half hours? That even makes me more convinced The Winter saga deserved a complete Trilogy. I'ma get it regardless. Whever now or later.

None of these numbers above sound like success stories to me.
So much effort and resources wasted for them PC ports and they are already minimalizing to an absolute. Not to mention the devaluation of the console itself. The same fate will be on their mobile attempt. Just watch.
It's time to accept PC gamers, console gamers and mobile gamers aren't the same kind of gamers. They might be a small portion of overlapping but the absolute majority is its own thing.

Off-topic question as constructive feedback: why don't you guys do these polls on every Triple A game? It'd cover slow news days and also reflects what this very community is playing/buying or not.

Isn't Deathloop, Ratchet and Clank, Returnal, Demon's Souls, Ghostwire Tokyo and Astrobot 60 frames? Some of em even in 4K or in 1440p right and bare minimum 1080p. So we've had already current Gen games being 60 frames on at least 1080p. It is possible then. It's as usual a question if the devs bother to make it happen.

Spider-Man 2018s gameplay got shown 2016, 2 years prior of its release. So I really doubt 2023 is the year of Spider-Man 2 in 2023. But I would love to be wrong about that.

@LiamCroft I've got a question regarding the upgrade system.
Is is more open this time around or is it like the previous installment, where the upgrade possibilities is hindered by the progression of the story?
Or with an example so you understand my question, can I focus only upgrading the crossbow to have it at its max as soon as possible or is it bound to the stories progression?

What's the reason Sony doesn't announce the line up for Essentials and Extras together? Wouldn't that display the higher value of Extra much better and therefor might influence only Essential subscriber to upgrade to Extra?

Way to many PC releases. And let me bet, these PC players don't have to pay for online on the Sony published Playstation games. The sheer amount of disrespect is beyond ridiculous. But whatever, them Sony ponies defense force gonna let the world know they're OK paying for online to accces the "safe" servers while them PC players access the identical servers but ain't paying anything. That second class treatment.

That's unfortunate. I liked Ethan Winter.
He wasn't a trained cop or some super solider who smashes boulders for lunch.
He was humble in his abilities (at least, we were convinced that way) which made every scenario scary and menacing. I'm gonna miss that kind of feeling that the Winter's Saga has brought. A consistent sensation of being surrounded by things superior to us.

As we should know meanwhile, devs always add around 10 hours. So it'll be around 20-30 hours. Which is rather perfect for me for pretty much every triple A game. Forspoken might be a day one game for me after all.

Objectively spoken, Extra has some strong games but as they're strong, I already bought them when they came out. I feel like Extra should have a brand new game on it every month like Stray. Some smaller A or double A game in it. I wouldn't mind a triple A game either. Otherwise it isn't meant for hardcore gamers but rather casuals who are skipping most games.

Another game has been delayed. Let's see how many games will be delayed next year.

I personally like the roster of Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl much more. But there's no way around the fact that Multiverse is smashing it. They had voiced characters from the get-go plus its a F2P game which a lot of the MP gaming community nowadays expect.
Very unfortunate to see Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl hasn't seen any heights.

What does Square Enix even own besides the FF and Dragon Quest franchises after they gave away all the other IPs for pretty much nothing? I know it is not in the realm of possibility but I'd prefer Sony would aquire Capcom. Their IPs are incredible.
