I heard on twitter someone from Microsoft denied all the rumors as did another leaker. They were considered but none are under development for playstation, so i dunno if these articles are wise, nor would i waste time watching their event to likely be disappointed.

I finished FFXVI and i never noticed any intrusive FPS drops.

@MrMagic That's not true. She was only a story consultant for Forspoken and i don't even see her credited on imdb with hardline, but her role was additional direction.
She was just in a consulting role in both projects. They are not her projects.

I don't like TLOU and i don't like Drukman from what he has shown in multiple interviews and interactions nor do i like what Naughty Dog has become under his leadership.

I can accept if you don't like Amy. I actually don't care. You can't change my opinion by dunking on Amy.
She made some of my favorite games before she ever went to naughty dog. I will always admire her for that. Even if everything she did now was trash, which i know won't be, she earned my trust. Neil, not so much as i didn't enjoy his games. 🤷 Surely it makes sense.

There was more. I just don't like TLOU. 🤷 Before you predictably try and throw accusations, that goes for both games. I never even played the second. I didn't like the vibe, the characters and the story of the first and nothing i heard about the second changed my mind.

She does have an upcoming one though, which will certainly be better than what vomit Druckman comes up with.

Given i have zero faith in druckman, that doesn't really fill me with confidence. I'd rather see him leave. I will never forgive him for pushing Amy Hennig out. He doesn't have one iota of her talent.

I... don't know yet. I loved Rise Sunbreak. World Iceborn, not so much.
The clutch claw isn't back, which is very good. We are back to one palico, which is not promising. I saw a mechanic with the new mount that is basically like the wirebug recovery but with the mount, which can be good and a lot of mounted combat which can be bad.
At this point it's difficult to say.
It seems to be somewhere between World and Rise. But, need to see and get more details.

I can see the crouching tiger, hidden dragon influence and a lot of action focus.
I saw no open world RPG from this though. So...🤷 we'll see.

@WiiWareWave You have to think of the time. This was after the Sammy merger and SEGA was shedding a lot to get back into profitability. Yakuza came across as kind of Shenmue which lost a lot of money, even if it later became a cult classic.
So, of course they thought it was risky. It's crazy he got them to budge. Must've made a great case in cost management.

@yohn777 That is what i mean. I want to see the water shaders. They looked a bit weird on switch. I am not expecting anything major but i am expecting a bit. The game was on pc as well and i doubt the switch was on max settings. 😅

@Thumper You know... i'm pretty sure it's easier to make an AI that analyses company numbers and spews an answer based on patterns of success than writing a story that makes sense.
So, yes, they can very well replace execs. They should quake in their boots. The amounts of money shareholders can save by firing the execs is insane.

I can understand using it on concept phase cause it's so easy to make it draw some concept art ideas.
But... storytelling? That is harder to believe.

I dunno. I find EA responsible for moving the trend when they ran down Westwood and the C&C games.
Strategy games have moved towards more complexity and the window/point of contact that were series like C&C and Starcraft have been discontinued for no good reason.

Honestly i played some of ninja theories games before. Enslaved, DmC... they were fun games, but they were nothing amazing. Enslaved was no uncharted, DmC was no god of war.
Which was why i passed on senua. I have much to play and i need to be selective.
Even if this game was on playstation, i wouldn't be buying it. 🤷
