I'd love for ghost recon to go back to the tactical games of the early 2000s.

@ShogunRok framerate issues and input delays can be patched. If that happened, would that bump up the score? Or is there more glaring problems than that?

I dunno. I have gamepass. I really don't want to pay for another subscription, basically for the same thing. "Hey, pay for two subscriptions, for the privilege to play yakuza or an assassin's creed game on ps or xb!"
What I really hope for, is the classic ps games to be available for purchase, separate from the service.

This probably has more of an effect on games journalists, than the general public. Like comic con, these trade shows/expos/conventions have gone more corporate and have made it harder for the average fan to go.

This is why we should have two or more reviewers for a game. Someone who is looking forward to the game, someone who isn't, and someone neutral. Is the person looking forward, happy? The person who isn't, feel justified? Was the neutral party swayed one way or another?

In the states things are pretty much back to normal(yay?), so having them available, one per customer, in store should be easier. Or the more cumbersome route, would be to email each and every ps4 account and offer it that way.

The comments section is always full of entertainment. One day, everyone is talking about "waiting for sales" and "not paying $70". Another day, "$70 is the right price". One day it's "gamepass sucks", the next it's "so when is sony gonna reveal it's gamepass".

I don't think gamers really know what they want. New IPs, but won't pay full price, but they want more kratos.

You could take your entire comment and replace "borderlands" with many games(any sports and racing game, any game with five or more iterations) and it would read the same.

No games will be announced. A trial for Spartacus instead. Or not.

I mean if first party titles don't land day one, or at least some what close, what'll be the difference between new and old?

Also, hopefully the older games will be downloadable and not just streaming.

@SacredPYRO when I first saw this video, I was incensed that cyberpunk was nowhere near this level of detail.

But the medallion is on the ground. Is it the protagonist's or someone else's? Does it belong to someone alive or dead? Lost during battle or travel? Will there be changing weather patterns in the game or just different regions?

If a new castlevania was to emerge, what would people want?
A 3d game? A 2.5d game, like metroid dread?
A remake, a remaster, a reboot?
Continuation of an old story or brand new character arc?
Olden times or present?

Think of all the games he couldnt play due to "real world" influences. I'm sure he couldnt play ANY sports games, cause he isn't athletic; nor any fps cause he probably isn't in shape enough to run with a full pack and shoot accurately; any rpg cause I'm sure he wouldnt be able to heft a buster sword, etc.

Games are escapism, leave it at that.

@velio84 I agree. What will the rdr and GoTsushi movie/tv adaptations bring, to differentiate themselves from other western and samurai movies, besides game characters. Will we notice a difference from tlou tv show and other post apocalyptic zombie, I mean "infected" tv shows.

Also, I could've sworn there were more superheroes than batman, spiderman and superman. The gta v, skyrim and mario kart 8 of the movie world.

In the next update, to make it more immersive and have it coincide with real world prices, GT7 will be asking for your yearly income. Just to be sure you're not purchasing cars, you shouldn't be able to afford....with real world prices.

@ApostateMage "always online" leave people with drink coasters, if the service goes down for maintenance or whatever. Imagine not being able to play GoW or GoTsushi because of "server maintenance".

@Kang81 there is a samurai class, which starts with a katana, bow and arrow set. With the right ashes, you might be able to duplicate the controls and movement of 'the wolf'. Some have said after upgrading their weapons, they had a somewhat easier time of it. I'd say save the spellcasting for the harder bosses and try to hone your melee against the grunts, etc. Parries and dodges and figuring out attack patterns, is the main focus against the bosses. Patience and not panic button mashing.

I think with sekiro, you have to find a way to deal a death blow, before the fight begins. Scope out the area, stay out of sight. Helps immensely.

Unsolicited advice:
Walmart+ is probably your best bet to get one, close to msrp. When Walmart has a restock, just get a one month sub for $15. It'll give you an hour access, to buy ps5, before the general public. Last Monday, they must've had ps5's available for members for an hour or so.

@Nightcrawler71 when it comes to elden ring, it may not have any difficulty options, but the easy mode is playing as a spell caster. And once you get the rhythm of the game, you'll try other classes and it'll click again.

Played some yesterday. Story mode, running around causing havoc. One moment of lull, was interrupted when a pedestrian bumped into me. Started yelling and swung at me. A nearby cop saw it, got out and shot him. Cop left, a few seconds later an ambulance arrived. It's crazy how much they put into the game, back then.

Oh shyte, "open world". I'm out.

This, godfall and destruction allstars need to be thrown into an arena, to battle it out. The winner will get the remaining "player counts" and financial backing to better their games. The games or the devs, I don't care. Make a gaas out of it, if you must.

GoTsushi, hzd, witcher iii, are prime examples of cluttered, clear the map of icon games, that ubisoft gets so much grief for.

@lolwhatno for example 3drealms' duke nukem 3d came out(early 90s), it was 3 or 4 parts. The "shareware version" would be a trial of sorts, but it would include the entire first part. So for $5, give or take, you'd get a 5hr game or so, with nothing locked behind a paywall, except the rest of the game.

@Uromastryx man, I remember figuring out the button combinations to a an xbm demo disc, to unlock the demo for metal wolf chaos. Only for the actual game to never come, stateside, til recently.

It looks pretty. The ghosts/monsters look creepy.
I just hope it doesn't fall into fpshooter tropes. "Here's a shotgunlike spell" and "here's a machinegunlike spell", etc.

Honestly, I don't care about MTs, so long as they don't affect gameplay. What do I mean? If I can achieve a car(supra), through playing or SOME effort, I'm fine with that. But if they purposely put some large arbitrary nonsense into unlocking a car(beat 1000+ races) or "just buy a MT", then I'll be upset.
