@Fritz167 This is the same machine, it plays the same games just a little better, it's not a PS6. It's the same situation of the One X that was at 100€ more than the PS4 Pro, just a proof o brute force, it doesn't matter if it doesn't sell 20 or 30m units. People want 4k and 60fps on every game and here it is but people also want super duper machine at cheap price and this is not possible. The only thing i agree is that selling the disc drive (you don't have to sell your physical games) and stand separatly is a greedy ***** move.
I think people need to understand that is just a "proof of power". This isn't the console for the average guy, this is for tech enthusiat people with money. Here in Europe it's gonna be priced at 800€ and the new SX (the one with 2TB free space) is gonna be at 650€....for the same hardware of 4 years ago. Just stick with your PS5 and you will be fine, just like everyone in PS4 era.
Analist forecast 1.3m units sold in 1 years, this is all marketing, it won't affect much on Sony's income.
I think i'm gonna sell my "old" PS5 and buy this Pro but i just want to see some games Sony. Excited to play some old games with Pro enhancements (at least i hope to see games like FFFXVI, Rebirth or Cyberpunk getting upgraded) but i just want a stunning Showcase and getting excited to play Wolverine, Death Stranding 2 or any other new game from PS Studios.
I really fell bad for Firewalk, gotta be honest. The game is not so bad e you can clearly see talent of the studio by just looking at the UI, style, cutscenes, etc.
Concord is a good game that came out in the wrong way and time: it this game came out with no-woke things, F2P and in the right time it could have built a stronger community.
People hate Concord not because they don't want this game, but because Sony is giving it too much importance: if it had come out as a "secondary" game, maybe between Death Stranding 2 and Wolverine (I took two random PS games as an example) it would have been received better in my opinions.
Still, I must admit: I bought the game and having a lot of fun
Tbh I found the game kind fun but I don't want to waste 40€ knowing the game is gonna flop in less than 6 months. I'm just gonna wait its release on PS Plus
@EfYI "so called game journalist here" lol you don't even know that Schreier is the only journalist that speaks only with strong sources.
"People lamenting this cancellation should really look at the history of single player studios pivoting to make service games such as ANTHEM, Suicide Squad, Marvel’s Avengers, Redfall, and so on"
Rebirth is truly one of the best JRPG ever and with its final chapter it's gonna be something else.
My top 3 is:
1- Rebirth
2- Hi-Fi Rush
3- LaD: Infinite Wealth
Played Stellar Blade too but didn't like that much.
Now i'm into Dragon's Dogma 2
I loved Dark Souls games years ago but now i find (some of) them not only too difficult but even frustrating, Shadow of the Erdtree is the perfect representation of this. Some design choices are bulls**t which in other games would be heavily criticized
I must say that the last details given on twitter/gaminformer are far more interesting than the 20 minutes of gameplay showed. I fear that even if it's gonna be a good game, this could really be the last game of Bioware.
Tried to play the remastered but it is really bad (the remastered, not the game) so i'm gonna buy this D1, loved FF7 Remake/Rebirth and XVI, keep on Square!
@Toot1st i don't know where this "if it isn't made by Sony, than it doesn't count" wave come from. Bloodborne was made by From Software, Gears of War 1-3 by Epic Games, Metroid Dread by MercurySteam. Are they exclusive and part of the console line up? Yes Are these teams owned by Sony/MS/Nintendo? No Anyone cares? No
If MS has bought 30+ studios it doesn' mean that now Sony has to do everything internally to keep up with MS. The reality is that we had at least 4 games exclusive to PS5 since the end of 2023, while MS just one that everyone completed in just 2-3 days and forgot.
Phil doing Phil things, still hasn't learned. Meanwhile, the last Xbox exclusive in 2023 was Forza (October 2023) and the next should be Avowed in November 2024. Again, an entire year without games....oh yeah, i forgot Hellblade 2.
The gameplay was really bland, they should have played a more advanced part of the story with a full party and stronger main character. Love the saga so i'm gonna play anyway but still not convinced
@tangyzesty I agree with this. People lost faith in Xbox and MS isn't capable anymore to fight against Sony. People want a PS5 and if a game comes to Xbox they'll wait on PS5 even after gamepass, cheap console, multiple acquisition, COD D1 Gampass, etc, etc. They simple don't care anymore about the brand, a new competitor should step in.
I really like the section with the sinobi but the samurai one....meh. Better than i expected but still the combat lack of "impact", expecially when he fights with the katana.

On PS5 i have to wait no more than 30 secondo, it depends on the time of the day. On PC probably is totally different if you turn off crossplay

i'm not into this types of games but surely they have a very large fan base. Games like Genshin, Honkai and ZZZ make Sony a lot of money too.

@Maubari never said the GotG gameplay isn't bland indeed. As a big DA fan i think they have just showed it badly

The gameplay was really bland, they should have played a more advanced part of the story with a full party and stronger main character.
Love the saga so i'm gonna play anyway but still not convinced
