@Haruki_NLI Schools are always messed up and behind when it comes to tech. One of the reasons I changed my major from computer science to sociology was because my sister was learning the same useful stuff in 2nd grade I was learning in college. They were smart enough in 2nd grade not to waste their time with dead languages like COBOL and FORTRAN. 😂
This wouldn’t be for me, not a handheld gamer, but I’ve always thought Sony would make one again. B/c handheld has always been the future. Star Trek in the 1960s knew that. Not a separate ecosystem, nobody wants that, but running a 4k game at 1080p should be doable at a reasonable price. And I’m guessing current audio tech would cut down on overhead as well. If PSSR can do upscaling then there should be similar AI for downscaling. Throw in HDMI out and done, good enough for most of us for most games.
Not a fan of “total $” as this game is $70 on PS5/Xbox/PC and I’m guessing a lot of the older handheld games this is sort of based on were $30 or $40. So while it’s a big deal, I’d really like to see actual sales numbers and not worry about what DS games would cost in 2024 factoring in inflation. Yes I don’t like when movies do it either. I can only imagine what Yankees total attendance would be in say 1954 vs 2024 if it was based on ticket price. 🤑
Nice shout out for Bluesky, first one of those I’ve ever noticed here or anywhere else.👍
@get2sammyb “ If past examples of these pre-launch bundles are anything to go by, they're rarely worth it. You get 500,000 Shell Credit, 10 Wuthercakes, 5 Lustrous Tide, and more. “
Guess I could have asked Liam about Nikki, think his answer would have been the same as yours.😁
“Wuthering Waves” is the most Gatcha sounding game name ever. 😂
Part 2 doesn’t really need any dlc, especially compared to part 1. You already had an entire storyline with Queens Blood and Gilgamesh also got basically his own storyline. Even if the tower defense mini game was by far the worst part of the main game, it just didn’t play right.
Sure, either Vincent or Cid could probably have gotten their own dlc, but there isn’t really all that much of the original games story left after part 2 ended so they could give each Vincent and Cid similar side quests to Queens blood and Gilgamesh in part 3 without the need for any dlc. FF7 was already done over 25 years ago, let’s not make this Kingdom Hearts any more than they already are.😂
We should only purchase single player games a year after release to give the devs time to finish them. Obviously it doesn’t hold for online yearly games like CoD and sports games but for a game like this, what’s the rush? 🤷🏻♂️
I do make exceptions for some Nintendo first party games, those tend not to release broken, don’t get updated a lot, and rarely go on sale anyway so the price is the price, but even there I don’t think I’ve purchased a game this year as I wait to see what Switch 2 can do for them.
@UltimateOtaku91 Thank you, for all of that. It really does make it seem like less of an accessory and more of it’s own thing, a cloud streaming portable, than it was before. I always thought Wii U may have sold a bit better if they let the Gamepad run on WiFi so you could use it more than 8’ from the console. Not cloud streaming way back when, but on the same WiFi in your own house. Fun fact, when using 3DS as a controller in Smash it worked anywhere in our house.
I’m guessing they’re not advertising it yet in case it runs like garbage and they have to pull the plug. They probably only have so many servers they want to dedicate to this experiment. Maybe if it runs well. Then Portal 2 can get cellular.👍
@get2sammyb "it's quite affordable as an accessory"
Honest question - is it really an accessory if you can buy a Portal, sign up for PS Premium, and play 120 different PS5 games on it? Did people consider an Ouya an "accessory" b/c it could only stream games?
Which brings me to my original question before I read your comment. Now that it does streaming do you need to own a PS5 to use it? If you need a PS5 to sign up for PS+ Premium or for game save files then yes, but if someone only has a PS4, or PS3 even, I think you can still sign up for PS+ Premium.
Guess I'm wondering if Sony is artificially locking it behind a $500 PS5 paywall, like PS VR2, or can anyone just buy it and use it?
I have about 750 hours in Fortnite over the past 3 or so years. Paid $8 for a battle pass when I started, have gotten up to around level 130 every season since, unlocking everything in every base battle pass, currently sitting on 3,100 V-bux, have never had a “crew” pass and really don’t see why it would even be necessary.
People can do whatever they want with their own money but I really feel like Fortnite is the most free to play game out there. Yes, I did pay $8 3 years ago, but I’ve played nearly every day since, and gotten more than I need as far as cosmetics etc. I’ve never felt any pay to win pain or pay to keep playing.
I’ll add that I only play battle royale, not music festival or Lego. It does look like you need to spend some coin in those modes, I’m just talking about fighting. I suppose creators may need to pay to include some items, I have no idea how that works.
Is Sony’s mobile department decisions made by the same person or people who decided it was a good idea to pour all of that money into Concord, including buying the dev?
All Sony has done the past few years is pump out new hardware - Portal, PSVR2, Dualsense Edge, PS5 Pro - very few AAA games, and basically embarrass itself ever since it said “we know generations”.
Which probably means the company is making lots of money b/c incredulousness seems to be rewarded these days.
40% is a pretty serious drop for PS VR2. Considering I only played the first for a dozen hours or so I’ll always pass on this but it’s still nice for people who want it.
And as long as I can keep playing free to play games online don’t think I’ll sign up for PS+ again. Even at 30% off it just seems too expensive to someone who purchased it for years in the beginning.
I would still like GoW:R for $30. Maybe this year. 🤷🏻♂️
I hope Sony releases a new handheld so I can read all of the apologies from all of the people who mocked me when I said they eventually would years ago. 😂 I don’t mind people disagreeing with me, the world would be so boring if we all agreed on everything, but the name calling insults has just gotten so out of hand.😝
I watched the trailer with my wife recently and we discussed all of the games it seems to be based on - Breath of the Wild, Ico + Shadow of the Colussus, some world building, some farming - which was enough to make me think it wasn’t any one of those.
Seeing that 2+ year roadmap has me concerned maybe only some of that stuff will be in early access at the beginning and the rest will come later. Which is fine if it’s free-to-start but I’m not paying a company to beta test their game for over 2 full years until it’s done.
Did look interesting, but I’ll see if Infinity Nikki is actually free-to-start first. I may even pay $10 to try it out, but $30 is just too much for what sounds like a demo.
@EquiinoxGII I've never heard of Very but I do know Argos. Maybe everyone in these comments sections are too lowbrow for high end John Lewis so nobody ever mentions them? 😂
Nice article covering all the bases. The only thing I would have added are the financials. Sony is the 4th largest company in Japan, Kadakowa the 240th, so Sony can afford it.
I’m betting it goes through, soon, and with little in the way of legal hurdles.
The next logical step after pretty much owning anime with the Crunchyroll and Funimation purchases and merger. Like, just how was Sony allowed to do that? 🤷🏻♂️
This isn’t about gaming, it’s about manga. They’re practically intertwined at the hip, with so much anime being based on manga. My wife works for a manga company half owned by Kadakowa and half the stuff my kids watch are based on books she publishes.
My first reaction was Kodokawa was too big but I did my own reasearch and Sony is the 4th largest company in Japan worth $134B and Kadakowa is the 240th largest worth $3B, so it’s hardly a hit on Sony. So I’m guessing at this point it’s a done deal. But it’s not about PlayStation, it’s about manga & anime.
@AverageGamer just said all this a bit more distinctly while I was proofreading my post. 👍
I’m a fan of the smaller budget games. “Plucky Squire” was fantastic. I bought “Cat Quest 3” recently and repurchased “Castle Crashers” b/c I wanted to replay it with my family.
But it’s better when smaller budget games have a smaller cost like $30-$40. I’m not buying 12 hour Astrobot or 6 hour Lego Horizons for $60, even if people think they are AA or AAA. “Sea of Thieves” is $35, I’ll be picking that up once the dlc drops.
I’m still waiting on a Black Friday sale for GoW:R so I am admittedly cheap but I do like the variety that smaller games bring.
At $39.99 it's cheaper than the game and looks like it could take as long to build it all as play thru the game so that's a win. Then afterward you can ply w/ the toys, then afterward display them on your shelf.
Price may be different in US though, their website couldn't find it. The Tallneck being "retired" does seem very shortsighted of them.
“ Did you expect Fortnite to capture the hearts and minds of an entire generation of gamers? “
I don’t play a lot of creator levels and I’ve never played Roblox but this feels like Fortnite trying to get the generation of gamers who are growing out of Roblox, like Lego Fortnite feels like it’s trying to capture the people who outgrew Minecraft.
Only thing I care about is - will it be playable on base PS5 or will it be PS6 only? I thought Rebirth was fine on PS5 so I’d like them to finish it on there, but I also need it to run, not crawl, if they focus too much on the new Pro hardware. I have no problem with a dual release, the more people who can play it the better, as long as that dual release isn’t Pro and PS6. And 3 years from now will be cutting it kind of close.🤞
Maybe they made the costume DLC paid b/c they thought Keighly would add it into the "GAME of the Year" category that way since apparently DLC now counts as a "game". 😝
@ThomasHL So you're saying John Lewis and EE didn't need to advertise this b/c 1 is a huge dept store and 1 is THE phone company so everyone knows who they are?
OK that makes sense. But does everyone normally look to dept stores and phone companies to buy their video game consoles? I don't think of Macy's or Verizon for my electronics shopping, so maybe this was just a way for those stores to say 'Hey, don't forget about us, we're more than just clothes and phones, we have PS Pro as well." 🤷♂️
@Matroska "Within a week retailers are choosing to cut into their own profits to get rid of stock."
That's how all sales work though, and November is now Black "Friday" for most retailers for the entire month so this could just be a way for those retailers, I've never even heard of a couple of them, EE and John Lewis, to get noticed.
So while yes it does cut into their profits so does advertising and marketing, so they can be looking at it that way.
Also possible the retailers are still making a profit as at least I don't know how much Sony is keeping for themselves of that $699. Maybe Soy only gets $599 so anything over $600 is still "profit". Not that I have any idea.
Though with all that said, the retailers may have obtained a few more than they needed. 😂
Not sure who’s left for them to buy. Maybe they think China will let them buy MiHoYo.
At this point if MS isn’t buying a company then either PIF or Tencent is. Maybe those 2 will merge and eventually buy MS? “We’re in the end game now.” Dr. Strange voice.
@ShogunRok I know this review is 3 yrs old but my kid finally got around to starting Tales of Arise, not the kid who played the demo they’re away at college now the other one, and while they still have probably another 12-15 hours to go this is a really robust JRPG. And like most great JRPG the first dozen hours are slow, then things really take hold, and 36 hours in just when you think you’re fighting the final boss the game really opens up like you’re playing the sequel. I think FF13 attempted this w/ its linear planet then open world moon, or vice versa, but this was well done.
And all the dialogue and cutscenes, I’d swear half the game is dialogue and cutscenes as that R1 button is constantly lighting up, that probably bother a gamer are great for my wife & I watching. It’s basically a pretty good anime. I could do without all the fishing but it does seem to be the only way to gain any gold so it must be done.😂
Anyway great review, great game. I like action JRPG as a format and all the level 60 pre-postgame areas that can’t be done w/ level 39 characters are really nice. Looking forward to getting back to all of them later after finally getting back on the boat to go to the wedge. Which I’m assuming will take us to that long final dungeon you commented about. Then after all of that the 3 of us can finally play Sea of Stars, just in time for the dlc. We’re always 3 years behind, it’s cheaper that way, and the games are usually done by then. 😎
@Quintumply Just read a quick rundown of what is in the game and it is indeed short, even by Lego standards.
Only 4 chapters. 6 hours to play through those.
This all reads less like a Lego game and more like a trial or demo of a Lego game. Or since it’s 2024 the opening section of a $60-to-start live service Lego game. Have they announced a 4 part roadmap covering all of 2025 for the rest of it yet? 😂
So is Sylens playable in Lego Horizon then? I read the review earlier and it said there were only 4 playable characters, which is absurdly low for a Lego game. Glad they didn’t leave him out entirely but still should be playable, along with at least a dozen other characters. Maybe they’re waiting for Forbidden West paid dlc? 🤑
@Quintumply Wow that's short, thanks. I just remembered my kid bought Lego Jurassic World for like $10 around 6 or 7 years ago, maybe we'll just play that instead and pretend. 😂
@Quintumply “ Once you finish a chapter's set of campaign levels (I think five or six typically), Apex Hunts for that area become available. I think there are four of these for each chapter. After you finish those, Free Mode unlocks, and you can do that as often as you want. “
So, how many chapters? Trying to figure out how long this is but there are a lot of layers buried in there. I think my wife and I, certainly the kids, would do the Apex hunts, but free mode seems utterly pointless if there aren’t 149 characters to unlock like other Lego games. Sylens not being unlockable and playable is a crime against the franchise and Lance Riddick’s legacy.😢
So, how long if you just played straight through the story, then how many extra hours for the hunts? I’ll assume my wife and I would mess around the hub world for about an hour.
We haven’t purchased Astrobot yet b/c $60 for a 12 hour single player game hurts my brain, but if this is 12 story plus another few for the hunts we’ll pick it up b/c couch co-op games are hard to come by. Funko Pop should have been but isn’t. Even Mario & Luigi Brothership w/ 2 playable characters throughout is single player only.😝 This was our last hope for the holidays.🎄 🕎
@UltimateOtaku91 I was thinking Switch but Switch 2 makes more sense. It’s early and I’m pre-caffeinated. Now they can go all in on Wilds in 4k but not disregard 10 million Nintendo fans.
It’s funny but after decades on Nintendo handhelds it kind of feels like this game was already on mobile. Finding out it wasn’t is kind of odd. I wonder if they’ll try to sell MH branded Backbones and the like. I just can’t imagine this plays well on a touchscreen.🤷🏻♂️
I forgot what this show. If it’s a competition nobody wants to watch anyone playing this. Not sure what else it could be. Past my bedtime, I’ll check in the morning.🤷🏻♂️
Looking forward to picking this up when the paid dlc releases next year. My wife and I are currently watching our oldest play Tales of Arise, which is a very watchable game as it’s like half cutscenes, so it will be nice for the 3 of us to all be able to play this together.
Saw this in my Google feed and I thought the entire game was going back to OG, which seemed weird after Disney invested $1.5 Billion. Glad it's just a mode I can ignore.
If this is replacing RELOAD, as it should b/c I see no reason to have both, there are plenty of players to go around.
A lot of good replies here this morning. As a parent of 2 college age “kids” we kind of grew up the opposite. Neither of them have any social media presence outside of Discord, and when they were younger I actually lied about their ages on PSN and Wii U, making them older, so that they did have access to “adult” games and playing online.
Social media is a problem though for a lot of people, I’d say similar to an addiction along the lines of gambling, or porn, or binge watching Netflix, or over eating. So something does probably need to be done, but do band ever work? As a former teenager myself, though it was so long ago I can’t barely remember any of it, the fastest way to make kids want to do something is tell them they can’t, it’s for grownups only.
This is all political grandstanding by people who don’t know how to deal with a problem, they just want to look like they are.
And 16 seems a little old to me, maybe 12? Guess it depends what they are trying to do, it’s not just 1 problem. Protecting overweight kids from bullying by their peers isn’t nearly the same as protecting kids from pedophiles. 2 very different things that won’t have the same solution. Sure banning kids would take care of both, online, but then what, the kids just leave their rooms and go back to being bullied and raped IRL?
@PsBoxSwitchOwner What you said. Sony has a marketing budget they have to spend, marketing people who are being paid, and basically just this 1 game to promote.
I stopped playing ZZZ at like 99% done, think I’ll let this one pick up the slack. I’ve gone back to Disney Speedstorm for the time being but so much is locked away behind a paywall it almost feels more like a demo or trial than free to start. And it’s EXTREMELY pay to win, having your level 14 racer going up against 30s & 40s is 😝
This seems very single player so competition shouldn’t be a problem, curious how they monetize this. Well besides the PS5 page saying FREE GAME at the top and $9.99 at the bottom.🤑
But if it’s just cosmetic stuff I don’t care, I just like wasting time exploring. 🤷🏻♂️
Edit: Wow, watched the vid, that world looks huge and diverse, and graphically impressive. Reminds me why I don’t play on my Switch anymore, this make Princess Peach look like the storyboard version of this. 😂 I tempted to lay out the $10, which I never do. I’m sold.
@get2sammyb Just want to say I agree w/ you about the PSN sign-in issue seeming to be blown out of proportion. That said, the way things have been going for me lately, maybe we're both on the wrong side of this? 😩
@REALAIS " I would easily spend extra 10 money for nonstick drift controller, but that would not benefit SONY. "
Oh man don't get me started. It's been 4 years since the PS5 launched and there are still no cheap 3rd party controllers. I don't understand how that's possible and no one has sued them for anti-competitive behavior. Sure, there are several $150-$200 3rd party controllers, but none in that $30-$40 range like there has been every previous generation. I know they are never as good, though my $30 fake Switch controller is just as good as my kids $70 Official Switch Pro, but they are usually good enough for that 1 game my wife plays with me once every 4 years for a few hours, or when my kid has a friend over who forgets to bring their own. But not this gen. 🤑
@REALAIS That's well said. You must be new here. 😂
I bought my kid that same purple controller and within a year the drift is so bad it's unusable. I took it apart to clean it and it worked mostly ok for about a week but not anymore. My red one is getting close. Bought a black 1, now we have 4. Pretty sure I've spent more money on the console and controllers than games. (though to be fair I do borrow lot of games from my local library for free)
@get2sammyb “ I think it's a good response. It seems like they've learned a lot of the right lessons, and I doubt this will happen again to anywhere near the same extent. “
That was my reaction when I saw you closed the comments, or perhaps more accurately never opened them, on the tariffs article. 😂
@Gamer83 “ Massive failure by the PS fanbase once again. “
Ok don’t you think that’s a little harsh, besides, you know, putting the blame in the entirely wrong direction? 🤷🏻♂️
It’s a 12 hour long game for $60, that’s single player, and is still being updated, that launched probably a month earlier than it should have for holiday sales, which it will get b/c of the graphics that make it look likes a kids game. And nowadays a lot of kids are playing free to start games like Roblox and Fortnite. So it’s probably less the fanbase’s fault, more the parents fault.😂
Ok joking aside, the game will be $30 Black Friday, or available in a B1G1 50% off sale, making it $30. Single player games like this will not stay full MSRP for long. Well until we go all digital, then they never have to get lower in price b/c zero competition.🤑
Massive failure by the PS fanbase once again. Yeah, no, this one’s Squarely on Sony for the pricing and timing of the release. On 2nd thought it’s not a massive failure, by anyone, game is probably selling as it should for now. Who knows, maybe people are waiting for it to come to a rental service they pay $100+ a year for. That’s probably a part of it. 🤷🏻♂️
So are they done with any big GoW:R updates after this for the base PS5, I’ve been waiting to play it until it’s at least mostly done. I know DLC has been rumored, speculated and or teased, maybe leaked, but I’m not really worried about that right now. And I have zero interest in a Pro so whatever improvements they make on that won’t affect me. The way Sony has handled all the dual ports on PS4 and PS5 I’ll probably never even need a PS6.
@Member_the_game Well it looks like you were right about the poll being today. Now we just need an article about someone getting a brick inside their box instead of a Pro or a bunch of them being stolen off a lorry. 😂

They'll be $2.99 each or both for $5. 😂
Re: Feature: Why Would Sony Want to Buy Kadokawa?
Nice article covering all the bases. The only thing I would have added are the financials. Sony is the 4th largest company in Japan, Kadakowa the 240th, so Sony can afford it.
I’m betting it goes through, soon, and with little in the way of legal hurdles.
Re: Sony Reportedly in Talks to Acquire Elden Ring Dev's Parent Company Kadokawa Corp
Re: Do You Really Want Devs to Make Lower Budget, More Original Games for PS5?
Re: Venus Vacation Prism: Dead or Alive Xtreme Is a Pretty Girl Photography Sim for PS5, PS4
I'd buy a DLC of Homer Simpson saying "D'oh" as the camera shutter noise. 😂
Re: New LEGO Horizon Set Now Official, Includes, Aloy, Varl, and Machines
At $39.99 it's cheaper than the game and looks like it could take as long to build it all as play thru the game so that's a win. Then afterward you can ply w/ the toys, then afterward display them on your shelf.
Price may be different in US though, their website couldn't find it. The Tallneck being "retired" does seem very shortsighted of them.

Re: Fortnite's TMNT Islands Trailer Demonstrates How Far Epic's Platform Has Come
“ Did you expect Fortnite to capture the hearts and minds of an entire generation of gamers? “
I don’t play a lot of creator levels and I’ve never played Roblox but this feels like Fortnite trying to get the generation of gamers who are growing out of Roblox, like Lego Fortnite feels like it’s trying to capture the people who outgrew Minecraft.
Re: Final Fantasy 7 Remake's Third Entry 'Won't Cheat' with the Airship
Only thing I care about is - will it be playable on base PS5 or will it be PS6 only? I thought Rebirth was fine on PS5 so I’d like them to finish it on there, but I also need it to run, not crawl, if they focus too much on the new Pro hardware. I have no problem with a dual release, the more people who can play it the better, as long as that dual release isn’t Pro and PS6. And 3 years from now will be cutting it kind of close.🤞
Re: Dressing Eve as 2B Won't Be Free in Stellar Blade's PS5 DLC
Maybe they made the costume DLC paid b/c they thought Keighly would add it into the "GAME of the Year" category that way since apparently DLC now counts as a "game". 😝
Re: UK Retailers Are All Discounting the PS5 Pro Already
@ThomasHL So you're saying John Lewis and EE didn't need to advertise this b/c 1 is a huge dept store and 1 is THE phone company so everyone knows who they are?
OK that makes sense. But does everyone normally look to dept stores and phone companies to buy their video game consoles? I don't think of Macy's or Verizon for my electronics shopping, so maybe this was just a way for those stores to say 'Hey, don't forget about us, we're more than just clothes and phones, we have PS Pro as well." 🤷♂️
Re: The Game Awards Confirms DLC, Remasters Can Win Game of the Year Days Prior to Nominations Reveal
“GAME of the YEAR” Award should go to the Neir dlc in Stellar Blade b/c reasons.

Re: UK Retailers Are All Discounting the PS5 Pro Already
Re: Game of Thrones Star Sophie Turner Might Play Lara Croft in Tomb Raider TV Show
Good way for Turner to work out all of her divorce anger. An angry Lara is a good Lara. 👍
Re: Infinity Nikki and Jessie J Confirm PS5 Release Date in Joyous Musical Trailer

I like to call “Jump Up, Super Star!”. 😂
No seriously I was singing along to it the first time I watched it.

So, is the free game actually free now or does it still cost $9.99 to download the free game? 🤑
Re: LEGO Horizon Adventures Sets Odd Precedent, Lacking PS5 Pro Support
Maybe they’ll charge for it, some game has to be first. 🤑
Re: Sounds Like Microsoft Isn't Done with Gaming Acquisitions Just Yet
Not sure who’s left for them to buy. Maybe they think China will let them buy MiHoYo.
At this point if MS isn’t buying a company then either PIF or Tencent is. Maybe those 2 will merge and eventually buy MS? “We’re in the end game now.” Dr. Strange voice.

Re: Tales of Arise (PS5) - A Fantastic JRPG, and the Strongest Tales Game in a Long Time
@ShogunRok I know this review is 3 yrs old but my kid finally got around to starting Tales of Arise, not the kid who played the demo they’re away at college now the other one, and while they still have probably another 12-15 hours to go this is a really robust JRPG.
Re: LEGO Horizon Adventures (PS5) - Dull Design Lets Down This Gorgeous Spin-Off
@Quintumply Just read a quick rundown of what is in the game and it is indeed short, even by Lego standards.
https://gamerant.com/lego-horizon-adventures-how-long-to-beat-chapter-list-length-hours/#:~:text=In%20contrast%20to%20most%20Lego,shorter%20entries%20in%20the%20franchise.
Re: Star Trek Actor Voices Sylens in LEGO Horizon Adventures
So is Sylens playable in Lego Horizon then? I read the review earlier and it said there were only 4 playable characters, which is absurdly low for a Lego game. Glad they didn’t leave him out entirely but still should be playable, along with at least a dozen other characters. Maybe they’re waiting for Forbidden West paid dlc? 🤑
Re: LEGO Horizon Adventures (PS5) - Dull Design Lets Down This Gorgeous Spin-Off
@Quintumply Wow that's short, thanks. I just remembered my kid bought Lego Jurassic World for like $10 around 6 or 7 years ago, maybe we'll just play that instead and pretend. 😂
Re: LEGO Horizon Adventures (PS5) - Dull Design Lets Down This Gorgeous Spin-Off
@Quintumply “ Once you finish a chapter's set of campaign levels (I think five or six typically), Apex Hunts for that area become available.
Re: Monster Hunter to Take Over Phones as Well as PS5 with Outlanders Spin-Off
@UltimateOtaku91 I was thinking Switch but Switch 2 makes more sense.
Re: Secret Level Creator Comments on Concord's Awkward Anthology Inclusion
I forgot what this show. If it’s a competition nobody wants to watch anyone playing this. Not sure what else it could be. Past my bedtime, I’ll check in the morning.🤷🏻♂️
Re: Sea of Stars Now Has Combat System Its Developer Always Wanted
Looking forward to picking this up when the paid dlc releases next year. My wife and I are currently watching our oldest play Tales of Arise, which is a very watchable game as it’s like half cutscenes, so it will be nice for the 3 of us to all be able to play this together.
Re: Fortnite OG Sticks Around As Permanent Mode from 6th December
Saw this in my Google feed and I thought the entire game was going back to OG, which seemed weird after Disney invested $1.5 Billion. Glad it's just a mode I can ignore.
If this is replacing RELOAD, as it should b/c I see no reason to have both, there are plenty of players to go around.
Re: Australia's Planned Social Media Ban to Include PSN
“ Could you imagine your own government taking away your …”
Well Canada isn’t my government but they did just shut down a TikTok office.😂
https://vancouversun.com/news/tiktok-vancouver-office-closure-big-blow-to-employees-content-creators
The problem isn’t social media, it’s humans.😝
Re: LEGO Horizon Adventures Is Getting a Surprisingly Huge Marketing Push
@PsBoxSwitchOwner What you said. Sony has a marketing budget they have to spend, marketing people who are being paid, and basically just this 1 game to promote.
Lego + Christmas = $$$$
Re: Infinity Nikki Will Be the Next Big Thing on PS5
I’m sold.
Re: Sony Boss Says It's 'Learned a Lot' from PC Player Pushback
@get2sammyb Just want to say I agree w/ you about the PSN sign-in issue seeming to be blown out of proportion. That said, the way things have been going for me lately, maybe we're both on the wrong side of this? 😩
Re: Astro Bot Sells 1.5 Million PS5 Copies Inside Nine Weeks
Re: Astro Bot Sells 1.5 Million PS5 Copies Inside Nine Weeks
@REALAIS That's well said. You must be new here. 😂
I bought my kid that same purple controller and within a year the drift is so bad it's unusable. I took it apart to clean it and it worked mostly ok for about a week but not anymore. My red one is getting close. Bought a black 1, now we have 4. Pretty sure I've spent more money on the console and controllers than games. (though to be fair I do borrow lot of games from my local library for free)
Re: Sony Comments on Concord Disaster, Says Game Should Have Been Tested Earlier
@get2sammyb “ I think it's a good response. It seems like they've learned a lot of the right lessons, and I doubt this will happen again to anywhere near the same extent. “
That was my reaction when I saw you closed the comments, or perhaps more accurately never opened them, on the tariffs article. 😂
Re: Astro Bot Sells 1.5 Million PS5 Copies Inside Nine Weeks
Re: God of War Ragnarok Will Look and Run Better Than Ever on PS5 Pro, And Solve Fewer Puzzles for You
So are they done with any big GoW:R updates after this for the base PS5, I’ve been waiting to play it until it’s at least mostly done.
Re: Poll: Did You Buy a PS5 Pro?
@Member_the_game Well it looks like you were right about the poll being today. Now we just need an article about someone getting a brick inside their box instead of a Pro or a bunch of them being stolen off a lorry. 😂
