@Rmg0731 I feel like MS is delaying the announcement for other platforms even more for Metaphor since it is a new IP from Atlus and they wanted to keep the buzz of it being an Xbox game more than the Persona games

@AsterZero I really don't believe in rumors lately and didn't Nintendo said they don't have any plans to release a new system anytime soon? Whatever the case, by the time Persona 3 Reload launches, there won't be any new Nintendo hardware so either release the game on the Switch or Nintendo fans are gonna wait that long until they can play it on the next-gen Nintendo console.

@HotGoomba yeah, I've seen this "leaked" boxart though really didn't believe it until an official announcement. Doesn't mean it's not coming out on Switch. Maybe we'll see it happen during a Nintendo Direct but let's wait.

Still in the middle of playing it but I'm enjoying it so far. My only concern so far is that the game is pretty dark, I mean literally, even with the brightness maxed.

I doubt they'll be buying SE but good that SE remains a healthy relationship with Sony. Go on Sony, invest on SE more and give us a better port of Drakengard 3 or a Chrono Trigger remake

So long as they retain Aigis' social link then I'm fine. One thing that I do want to be added (and hopefully they do) is to spend time with Aigis during the fireworks festival like in the P3 movie.

Not sure how I feel about this. Not a big fan of strategy games (outside of Disgaea and SD Gundam Generation games) and I am getting burnt out by P5 contents.

My gripes aside, this will get a PS5/Switch release no doubt. Not throwing any shades on Xbox but for a niche game like this, Sega would be crazy to only sell this game on that platform considering how it's doing in Japan.

@johnny30 Like everyone said, the press releases of the announced 3rd party games listed other platforms shortly after Son'ys showcase. Rather weird that MS is holding an embargo for platform announcements. I can only guess that they wanted to build more hype for their platforms. More people likely are gonna end up playing the games on PS or Switch anyway and MS is aware of that,

Meh, they're coming to PS and Switch no doubt. Xbox did the same when they announced P4G and P3P on their last showcase. Give it a few days.

MS likely got the marketing rights for SEGA games like how Sony have marketing for most Square Enix/Capcom games

The artwork looks nice but the 3D characters looked like those poorly made MMD models.

I guess it's time to invest on a SSD. FF7R alone is already at 90GB+

@NomNom It's not Atlus that MS is besties with, it's Sega. They have some connections since the Dreamcast was developed in collaboration with MS

P3 was the first Persona game I've played back in the PS2 era and still to this day, my favorite Persona game. Definitely excited for this. I just hope this doesn't come out the same month as FFVII Rebirth. It's going to be multi-plat as well and MS just got the marketing right since they are close with Sega.

As for P5T, well, I'm ready to move on from anything P5 related at this point. They've already milked this out enough.

I'm hyped for both this and XVI but goddamn Square, let me get through FFXVI first lol.

I just thought it was a fun little easter-egg for the HD Remastered Spider-Man when I saw it. Didn't thought it was a small teaser for Spider-Man 2.

Just saw Across the Spider-verse recently and gotta admit, the movie got me excited to play this and will keep me busy until the sequel

Anyway, both characters will be great and can't wait to play as both. Peter as the more veteran Spidey and Miles who is still getting the hang of being a Spider-Man

I only have enough money for one game unfortunately so it's going to be Final Fantasy XVI.

tbh, if I still didn't have a PS5 until now, I would have been salty about this news lol. Well, I'm glad that it's full PS5 now so there's nothing holding this game back.

As someone who enjoyed the Spider-Man 2018 game, I wasn't all that hype back when this was announced in 2021 and I wasn't one of those who have been eagerly asking for a gameplay reveal prior to the last PS showcase but after seeing the gameplay, I am now excited to play this.

@ShogunRok Usually, I would prefer the turn-based mechanic of the older Final Fantasy games but XVI's gameplay looks very fun and polished and I am all for it.

Glad they are included. They were also in the HD collection for the Vita and would be disappointing if missing in this volume collection.

They're probably waiting at least until FFXVI gets released since marketing has been focused on that. Still excited for Rebirth and I don't mind waiting a little bit more. FFXVI will keep me busy until then

It was pretty mid and not worth the hype build up. Overall, there are some great games announced that I liked. There's just a lot of CG trailers there. Understandable for game debuts but you'd think Sony would do less of those

Give them the benefit of the doubt. Take all the time they need to make a great game. With how many games coming out unfinished recently, it's good that some devs are taking their time to cook their games. 2023 is already packed with games as it is and should keep many of us busy anyway

Some of the game highlights for me:

• MGS Delta: Snake Eater + MGS collection Vol.1
• Granblue Fantasy Relink getting a Winter 2023 release date (pls do not delay anymore)
• Spider-Man 2. Wasn't really that much hyped for this but seeing that gameplay made me excited even more now.
• Phantom Blade 0 with that sick combat mechanic
• Tower of Fantasy finally releasing on PS5 (I just want to play another F2P game other than Genshin Impact lmao)

Overall, it was an OK showcase but definitely lacking and not really worth the hype.

Will try this once released. I'm getting kinda burnt out with Genshin. Still waiting for Honkai Star Rail as well and I know the games are available on PC and mobile but I don't have the best PC specs and mobile gaming really isn't my thing.

This was one of the games I was hoping to be shown in today's presentation. Too bad the release date is still not specific but I am hoping that they stick with the winter 2023 release

It was okay, so many shooters but they don't appeal to me personally so they're pretty meh in my book. MGS3 remake + HD collection was the highlight for me and while the release date wasn't specified, I'm glad Grand Blue Fantasy Relink will finally get a winter 2023 release (I hope there are no delays).

Tower of Fantasy coming to PS5 seems to fly under everyone's radar but understandable and lastly, Spider-Man 2, which looks really good.

Overall, this was a pretty mid presentation. Lots of games but not really worth the hype.

Man, I've already replayed MGS1 countless times. Am I really going to replay it again? Hell YEAH!!!

MGS3 remake with MGS 1,2 and 3 ports to modern console? Sign me up!

Man, Sony is really showing off, though they do have some numbers to show for it.

I expect that the Switch's momentum will slow down a little after ToTK. There's really no big Nintendo game around the corner after (unless by miracle, they finally announce Metroid Prime 4).

Still, I wouldn't underestimate Nintendo. You never know what they have under their sleeves.

"Playable 5 Teaser"

As expected from ToTK. Amazing game, already spent so many hours yet there's still so many things to do and places to explore. What's insane is that Mario Kart 8 is still selling this much.

I was expecting a MK1 trailer in the PS showcase since Sony loves to show fighting games. Even if this won't be in the showcase, there's going to be a fighting game related trailer there. Since this is already very unlikely, my money will go to another Tekken character reveal (possibly Yoshimitsu).

Well, as long as the game will be able to tell a great story without any loose ends, then it's all good for me. Sekiro also didn't have any DLC despite fan requests but overall, it was a great game with enough lore to tell. No need to expand its story

No game is perfect and there will always be bugs and glitches but as long as they're not game-breaking nor they hinder the gameplay experience, I'm fine with it.

It's just sad that we're at a time where day 1 patches are a norm for AAA games and this is kind of a news. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the devs wanting the game to be playable with almost no issues upon launch.

I'd rather that they keep the numbering for their mainline games. Much easier to follow through.

Sony could just unlock the framerate of Bloodborne and I'll be super ok with it.

@OrtadragoonX voice acting in X is fine. The problem is the voice direction. XII's voice acting is probably one of the best in the franchise. The only problem with it is that the sound seem compressed, likely due to the limitations of the PS2 back then

Instead of acquisitions, I'd rather see projects like this. Hope it works out for the Indian devs like how it worked for the Chinese devs

I'm sure Phil is a great guy but he sure sounds like a poor car salesman right now. Pretty sure his narrative will change once Starfield comes out and it impresses everyone (assuming that it will actually meet expectations that is).
