They're not alone in not playtesting stuff just look at modern AAA games they just get shipped in a broke now grug fix later state.

"fear and greed" sums up what has happened perfectly, took people's money and ran for the hills that's the modern day gaming experience and yet actual fans who gave valid criticism at launch were labelled haters on forums and told "the game isn't bad"

Game did nothing better than 2 unless people count graphics as a positive, rip to a poorly optimised, boring, soulless game made in 12 months or less.

Don't know anything about persona games, never heard of balatro, elden ring dlc shouldn't even be nominated, black myth wukong is just another dark souls clone, remakes shouldn't be nominated and isn't astrobot just a PS4 the playeoom character? I could never even play that game cause i didn't have a PS4 camera so it was always something on my dashboard taunting me.

@Wario_Waha People have enabled sony to operate this way, a lot of playstation players will just pre order every game under the sun as though they don't have any games to play, i think a lot of the people who own concord are probably push square members.

People need to stop pre ordering games and start purchasing on discount instead of enabling companies to release poorly optimised games (DD2 is) and still turn a profit, when people vote with their wallet games will return to the pre 2014 status quo of almost every game being great with very few stinkers as opposed to now where it's very few good games and a buffet of mediocrity.

@LastSaneManOnEarth it's probably not even the actual devs i bet it's just a bunch of community managers and discord mods who claim to be devs despite not actually working on any of the games.

People saying stellar blade 😂 you'll be lucky is that even gets mentioned, I'm sure griftdivers and veilguard will steal the show, helldivers certainly doesn't deserve any win with how much content has been ripped out and locked behind an impossible grind which most people pay to skip then defend it, there is nothing helldivers does which is exceptional or new, deep rock galactic does everything it does.

Just gonna be another show where people who aren't "gamers" clap for everything and good games get overlooked, wild how a game like bg3 won so much last year when it doesn't do anything for turn based rpgs beyond appeasing coomers, just don't see how that game can win so much when a game like wasteland 3 which is superior didn't win a thing.

Don't understand how anyone who's got money can just stay on console with how pro censorship and anti consumer these companies are, only reason this guy got his account back is because he's a known quantity and it'd make Sony look bad, read plenty of stories of people getting hacked and doing chargebacks on purchases made by the hacker which lead to a ban and sony customer support being useless.

Literally got an operator who looks like they took the cover art guy from haze but had him mutate into the nectar itself , rated M for mature btw, I'm sure they'll have omni man, captain America and maybe squidward next.

Don't see why they can't keep that garbage in warzone and let multiplayer have normal characters and skins.

If anyone bothered to read the steam reviews they don't even come off as positive they come off as neutral but marked positive due to a lack of a middle ground option, literally reading the top reviews right now and one person with 50+ hours claims it's for casuals, another with 9 hours says the writing is the "worst ever endured in AAA game" and one with 70 hours says "the magic of bioware is gone and i am feeling hollow" , all rated positive due to a lack of an in-between option.

A lot of people got to try it on game pass and see it's a buggy broken unfun mess that isn't even a real black ops game it's a modern snorefare with the black ops name plastered on it.

The only people who game pass isn't good for are those who are playstation exclusive and do not have access to it, game pass is so good that when sony announced ps tiers i still remember people excited thinking it was the playstation equivalent of game pass.

They should have stopped with AC3 because everything after that sucked and really i would have preferred none of the games have this modern day garbage because it was never needed, they had basim seemingly replace Layla yet from what i played of mirage I don't think he was ever used in that glorified dlc beyond playing through his memories, i was waiting to get taken out of the animus and have him talk about his life with the other characters in the present day or at least narrate the memories in mirage.

At this point no more modern story because it's always been something that ruined my immersion and post desmond nothing has been decent.

@viktorcode starfield did the same thing, if you want 60fps on series x it's 900p upscaled to 1440 or something but even then it's not a consistent 60 and that game is as poorly optimized as DD2 despite the lies Todd tries to spin.

Think they need to start doing substance tests in the push square offices, the campaign and zombies are both inferior to cold war, zombies is the most boring I have ever played and the only way anyone is having fun with the multiplayer is if they suck and get the bots lobbies or are using a vpn, a multiplayer where you spawn on top of enemies because the maps are tailored towards bad players who love one shot weapons and the skilless nonsense of a map like shipment.

The madden/fifa of fps games, somehow gets worse every year yet always sells.

Campaign is over too fast, lot of wasted levels like having you yet again play as a child or fight zombies.

Multiplayer is the worst it's ever been, I'm sure it's a wonderland if you're terrible or using a vpn to get into the terrible player lobbies.

The multiplayer characters suck too, it's just a bunch of zombies characters that talked to you on a radio in CW Zombies, ignoring adler and park being paywalled behind ugly skins the only three playable MP characters returning are woods, weaver and stone. People really wanna play as duke nukem knock-off caine, mt everest climber rossi or Alvarez who stole vanilla ice look?

Zombies is just there to sell gobblegum, removed the perk store machine, box is the most stingy it's ever been for example I constantly just get green/blue rarity pistols which are garbage meanwhile just yesterday i rolled three rai-k's and a max rarity nail gun in one cold war match all from the box.

Doesn't need nuketown every map is practically the size of it which is why the game is so unskilled and chaotic, made a whole different movement mechanic which can't be used properly because the maps are the size of a McDonald's tiddler fry.

@nomither6 There is nothing to see anyway the game is terrible and inferior to cold war in every way, the reviewers are glazing it and i don't know why, it's full of glitches and the campaign has a couple decent missions but the puzzles missions suck (literally make you play as a child and fight zombies) and the multiplayer is the worst ever with a horrible movement system on horrible maps.

When are they gonna stop being stingy with supercreds though? I have only been able to unlock two warbonds and that's with 174.2 hours in the game.

A lot of this stuff should be accessible from the get go for how much the game costs and how little content there is.

@Max_the_German the worst one, if you can you should try killzone 3 on ps now it's easily one of the best games sony ever had made.

@3Above it died because someone at sony wanted them to shove that awful touch pad drone mechanic into the game and have it be a sniper ghost warrior clone instead of the squad based fps that it was.

Call of duty is currently suffering the same horrible decision with modern warfare 3 campaign where they pretty much put the player alone on a big boring map, terrible.

Companions look terrible like Fortnite characters i wouldn't romance any, MEA had terrible companions too but at least Cora had a nice gluteus maximus something that won't be possible to even make your own character have in failguard 😐

I'm sure the devs are thinking they're gonna get a fluke like BG3.

@Medic_alert 699.99 for a console though? In a dry spell for Sony i think you'd have been better off waiting for PS6 or something, these mid-late gen console upgrades don't seem worth it when the next gen is around the corner.

@BoingX2 they're also the reason a lot of games end up terrible and ruin whole franchises because they got kids hooked on Fortnite same thing happened in sports games where you got these morally bankrupt streamers shilling ultimate team microtransactions to kids.

The god of war devs did a presentation showcasing how they simplify their games for "the average player" and they used darksydephil as the example, games are infested with microtransactions, garbage modes like battle royale take precedence over established modes and games are being dumbed down for people who suck at video games hence why dead rising demaster has autosaves and other help system garbage that wasn't needed!

Really goes to show how the game awards is nothing but a popularity contest like the ballon d'or.

I have gotta be paid to watch any gaming show.

@Titntin Have you seen how they designed the qunari? There is no creativity shown so far so it's not a creative choice it's one of the devs being scared of spiders.

If i was making a game post BG3 I would be adding spiders, making qunari monstrous again like in DA2 instead of sims 4 occult sim rejects and i certainly wouldn't have gone with the Fortnite/Ratatouille art style they've gone with, that one companion with the long face literally looks like food critic from ratatouille!
