This is actually not surprising. Mobile gaming has been huge in Japan for a couple of decades. To the point it was hurting PC/Console games. So this is actually genius by Sony.
I got Callisto at launch and have zero interest in the other two games. Weird West actually was on sale just before they announced this and might still be. They really have to stop doing that.
First I've heard of the Phantom Blade Zero game. Just saw the announcement trailer and it looks great but nothing tells me it's in game. The UI is suspiciously absent from the entire video. I reckon the graphics will be lower for a start. I hope it's real, it looks like its own game with more similarities to Onimusha or Ninja Gaiden than any kind of Souls clone.
People forget money isn't the only currency you pay with. I'm not wasting time on this. It looks so bad on all fronts and screams "updated for modern audience".
I did like P5 but I'm not attached enough to the cast to be eager from them reprising in all these extra games. I'd prefer if Tactica had a totally new cast of characters.
@4th_at_EVO Niohs were fantastic because they weren't Soulslike. They are obviously inspired but they are really a whole other thing that combines Ninja Gaiden with Souls games.
This game is something I never heard of before and I'm sad that we don't get to tell lies and use our nose as a weapon.
This is it AC gang. Our time has come. God I hope we get PvP like 4 answer had.
Funny enough there's Souls mechanics in the old Armored Core. You could be fast but squishy or a fat rolling weapon platform. Never had as much fun in deathmatch and I'm not usually a PvP person.
How often is a series revived after such a long time and the result is absolutely beautiful. Everyone knew Larian were the perfect studio and they didn't disappoint.
Yea we're not mad this time. It's a step in the right direction and they actually gave reasons for some of the changes. Season 1 is still a big disappointment. It is kind of funny that they are looking to hire a lead seasonal designer, but they should have had one already.
I've played AC since the first on PS3 and Odyssey still remains my favourite to this day, with Black Flag second. These games were enhanced by the map sizes. I'm fine with the new game being smaller and going back to the era of the Assassins, but the previous few games are not bad and definitely not worse because of their size.
It was a good endeavour to see how big they could make their games and a lot of people missed the blatantly obvious, that changes from Origins onward were because they were prequels to the Assassins. People also didn't understand that if Ubisoft did not change things up the franchise would have probably died due to repetition fatigue. It's happened to other franchises.
@PegasusActual93 we know the adaptation track record for Netflix is all over the place. Witcher questionable, Cowboy Bebop and Resident Evil - tone deaf and so bad they're cancelled, Castlevania amazing.
@AgentMantis yea Twisted Metal can do whatever they want story wise as long as there's cars and violence. They should still keep the characters because they need nostalgia views to help out since it's understandably not well known.

Re: Cyberpunk 2077 Patch 2.01 Announced, Should Fix Game-Breaking Save Corruption Bug on PS5
With Ubisoft games you should wait a year and get them on sale. They're cheap, all the content is released and bugs fixed.
With CDPR games you should wait two years and get them on sale. They're cheap, all the content is released and bugs fixed.
Re: PS5's Console Exclusive Knights of the Old Republic Remake Is Being Nuked from the Internet
The project should be taken from Embracer entirely and restarted from scratch. They can't just give us hope and then kill us.

I was one of the people who refunded the launch version of the base game. Would it be a good idea to get it now while it's on sale?

Pantera and metal fans understand how messed up it is that someone, especially in America, can still so easily get on stage.
Re: Mortal Kombat 1's Expansive Invasion Mode Plays Like a Board Game
I like when fighting games have an extra mode or two. Tekken 3 had some cool ones. Soul Calibur's adventure modes were great too.

Been playing since the original BG came out and this one is definitely the peak. My only gripe is that it feels a little close to Original Sin.
